Ah, so like an art contest? Awesome idea. <3
For the treasure hunt, I think everyone should get prizes.
The winners should just get...better prizes.
We can give turkeys and candy canes as consolation prizes,
along with 1000 gg? I dunno, just an idea.
Also, I think it is a tradition to give prizes to users who post first or last on a specific page? xD

how will we do the meal thing?

hahaha. I got sick and then grounded. Im so awesome rolleyes
Anyways, dang...well then, Maybe just Breakfast and dessert? It just kinda seems to me that breakfast would be the kind of meal that would side with restraint, while dessert would be the one that sides with gluttony. Breakfast, being the healthiest meal and all with its cereal and nutrition bars and such, would go well with restraint...and dessert just kind of speaks for itself
Red just very much wants to be a chocolate bunny. But if we cant thats fine with me. just putting that out there

The treasure hunt...just how would we go about that though?
And there is a food-themed gold shop. Its the one the NPC Rina runs, its all treats and such. I remember there was an actually pretty good item with a candy theme but I cant remember...

For the treasure hunt, we can have the hosts each lead a team.
Users sign up to participate in the hunt on the first day,
and it begins on the second day. They post all the things they found/did in a thread in the...test forum? And on the third day, the team with the most stuff done/found wins.
...Does my post make any sense whatsoever? xD

I think around 10 items could work. Someone did it last year, and asked each room to post the item in their room information section! It worked pretty well.
Now who wants to be dessert and who will be breakfast?

Hmm, I was thinking, maybe at random times we could have them looking for a certain Item on our avis...like, lets say the roleplayers get a prize if they find dessert with a pocky stick...well, at some point, the person playing dessert will equip a pocky stick and the people have to get a screen shot of it. whoever PM's the screenshot first wins. Maybe, as a veryfyer, it had to be noticibly in the thread with date and time included.

Exactly! I got the idea from the deviant art people who do kiribans, and I even thought up of a backstory for it. Something like restraint trying to stop gluttony and the co-hosts from eating unhealthily, but since she can't look at all three of them at once she needs the role-players help...so she says what each of their favorite foods is, and if you catch them with that food she will give you a prize. Like...Breakfast likes mint chocolate ice cream. So now they have to look out and find the breakfast avi with the mint chocolate ice cream item equipped.

Heya! Here's my Co/Crew App!
Username: rainbowskyscraper (may change in the near future)
Average Time on Gaia: Currently a few hours a day, may vary in the summer. I will probably be on more unless I am at work.
Any Experience in the Ball or Hosting an Event?: I played mini-cohost for the dark room on an old account quite a few years ago (the 5th ball, I think?) however some things came up and I was unable to attend after the first two days of the ball. (The odds of that happening again are pretty much none.) Although roleplaying is not my favorite activity, I have done it in the past and have some experience in the basics.
Describe yourself a little: I'm a very fun person to be around, and most often I'm cheerful and energetic. I consider myself to be friendly and helpful. I love projects and fancy things, and I also love keeping things neatly organized. c;
Why do you want to be a co-host?: I'd like to be a co-host so that I can gain some more experience and perhaps be more involved in the 10th ball next year.
Are you more of a co-host or a crew member?: Co-host, but I'd be fine with wherever you put me.
What can you contribute to this room?: I can be fairly active, and I would be able to help out with running contests and such.
Whose side are you on, Gluttony or Restraint?: Haha, probably Restraint! In fact, I'd probably be the co-host to line my posts with facts about healthy eating and such. xP
Why should we choose you?: I'd love to be involved and help out, and when I'm not at my job I have plenty of free time, most of which is spent on Gaia. I'd be ideal for keeping the room active at night, because regardless of what time I am working on the weekend, I'll most likely be up very late. However, I'm also online during the daytime whenever I am home.

It is actually my first year helping out with the ball, but I'm having loads of fun!
I've participated in the actual ball numerous times during previous years, so I thought It'd give back to the community.
What was the fifth annual ball about? I think that was my first year on Gaia, so I don't remember participating.
