Adrastos flickered his tail happy when he heard something in the brush, soon he had seen the lioness he had met as a smaller cub, Knarnia running and a bit shook up. He proceded fast on her heels his steel orbs looking at her as he pumped his legs faster than anyone of his age should have been going. "Hey, what's wrong?" he asked. He could tell she was quite upset and wanted to know why.

When Adrastos caught up with her, Knarnia had begun to slow down, ending up stopping on her tracks. She was crying, like she hadn't cried in a long, long time, words difficult to form on her throat. "Li Na hates me!" Knarnia managed to say, trying to calm down. Her tail wasn't floating graciously as it had forever been, instead lying limp on the ground.

Adrastos looked at her, he had never really comforted someone. Since he had grown his head was to her chest. He looked at her his ears and flakes seemed erect and wondering what to do, "I'm sure she doesn't hate you." he said. He nudged her playfully, trying to get her spirits up.

"It was awful..." Knarnia muttered, looking down to the dirt. "She was talking alone, to herself, when I was coming to see her, but since she was talking, and I thought it'd be rude to interrupt, I stood down hiding, waiting she'd finish. But I think she saw me, or heard me, or something, because she just snapped and told me to drop dead!" It was odd to see a kid comforting an adult, but it was the reverse, spiritwise. Knarnia was still a big cub at heart, as if stuck in time.

Karver slowly slipped the cub off of him and stretched. He gave a small yawn and then relaxed his body. "Well, I'm going to patrol the border. Wait here, lovely." He looked over at Hope smiling and nudged her snout. He gave a small wave to Katima with his tail as he turned. Trotting toward the end of his lands, he heard voices. The King also smelt some unsual scents. Slowing down, he snuk up on the noise crouching low behind a shrub. Peeking through the slips, he saw two cubs coming into her territory. One was a golden male and the other was a peacock colored female. His ear twitched as she slightly watched them, still crouched and alert. Karver made sure to stay downwind as he slinked past them in the brush following them from behind.

Asiam flexed his wings, feeling mighty nervous. "We're looking for some land to call our own, Siyari." The smell of the Pride was becoming stronger. "Maybe we should backtrack and go around. I don't think going through was such a good idea."

Karver came out of the brush quietly behind them. He stood still, his breathing silent wondering how long it would take for them to notice the King. He gave a gentle smile thinking of his days as a cub. He lowered his head at their level so that when they turned around, they would see him.

Adrastos looked at her, "She might not have heard you, she could have been talking to a bug." he nodded. "A big blue beetle, maybe?" he referred to the one she told him to chase the first day they met.

Hope nodded, and snugged Karver before he left, "kay,..have fun!" She called out as he left.
Hope then layed upon the cool shaded ground, and looked to Katima, "So,..you want adventure yes?" HSe asked with a smile. She thought of the little orca cub, and tribal lioness that were members of the pride. Distant, but still members. She thought perhaps Katima could get to know them, and bring the pride closer together, "Perhaps you can take an adventure with Adrastos and Knarnia, thier nice, and usually venture around the lands," She smiled at the cub. She wanted little Katima to have fun, and enjoy being here, but a part of her was afraid of what might happen to the cub if she was to go off alone. Since Hope wasn't one to do much adventuring, she decided that letting Katima go with someone who knew the lands well would make them both happy,...

The reference to the bug did just the trick. A smile showed on Knarnia's lips, also snatching a few giggles as she remembered the chase. "Naw that one was smashed under your paws." she said, wipping the tears off with one of her paws. "Maybe you're right though..." Her tail was once again whirling on the air behind her.

Siyari's flecks twitched and she raised her nose to sniff the air. "Asiam..." She said softly, her voice full of concern. "I don't think we're alone any more..." She looked over her shoulder quickly, and though she saw Karver, she didn't process that it was a lion until she did a double take. She fell over backwards, a shocked squeal emmiting form somewhere inside her. "Asiam!"

She thought she heard something move behind her, but when she turned to look it was already gone. "Just the wind...." she thought to herself turning back around towards the waters. She looked around for a moment and stood up. "Hm Im going to find me a tree or something to climb she thought to herself before rising up and heading eastward.

"Of course I'm right? When am I ever wrong?" he said quite proudly as he lifted his head high. His ears flickered to her and eyes widened to wait her response, he then poked her and said, "tag." He then bounded off into the brush.

The giggling turned into laughing as Adrastos struck the pose, Knarnia almost starting to roll on the ground. "I bet it's when I'm not watching!" she managed to reply in the middle. So, it was predictable that she was pretty off-guard when he tagged her and started running. "Hey, no fair! Come back here, you cheater!" With a jump, Knarnia stood on her legs and began pursuing him, her cheeryness back.

Adrastos laughed as he heard her pursuing him. He went into the underbrush where only a cub could make it through, or a teenager but not a fully grown lioness or lion. His steel blue orbs cotemplating his next strategy to get away from her paw.
