 The stairs were covered with soot from the blast. Little chips of wood could be seen as a result of that as well.
Simply looking into the ball received no reaction.
The rug is dirty, having some ash on it.

Shehk had gone back to the bookcase to look over her own books she'd left there when she picked up her copy of 'Frankenstein', looking it over carefully before she frowned at the inside of the cover. It almost seemed as though somebody had both liked and disliked the book so much they'd rumpled a few pages.
Now who did she know who would have....?
"Hey, did you do this? Oh, don't you make that face at me. This is my book! From my collection! You can't just do whatever you jack-damn well pleas-"

The first blow was solid and followed up by a second, third, fourth.
Too bad her glowing blood had to go and stain the carpet like that, but it would take very little time to get rid of the body, he just grabbed her by the back of the neck and began to drag her slowly away - she was heavier than she looked, even with the height difference, and the somewhat jerky trail of glowing blood would eventually taper off leaving not much more evidence behind.
Shehk is now considered DEAD!

Willow's brow twitched upward as the ball just showed her reflection. ".... I think it's broke... or it wants to be a mirror." Willow mused as she looked at the ball.
Her tail flickered as she thought. There was a pause and then.... "Crystal Ball, who spiked the punch on Valentines?" The fact that gnomes and student council alike were here, that would be a very interesting question. If the ball answered instead of playing mirror again. Perhaps those feelings from Valentines were cause of revenge for this or just some trickster. But she'd at least know who to pay back by way of seeing if the horsemen could attain potion for the fend.

Israfel was, indeed, magic.
He had magically managed to figure out some of the safe's lock.
He had magically gone for the ball waiting in the safe.
And he'd magically gotten it. In Astra's haste to return to the safe, she instead reached out to grab some of the silver seeds.. and the picture of a woman. Enjoy that. Heidla had managed to grab a few silver seeds as well.. and some of the important documents. They looked mostly useless, though.. was that a Student Debt Notice? What was that doing here?

Astra was happy she scored herself some seeds, but the picture...she wasn't sure how to feel about it. She blinked, turned it upside down, peered closely at the women and thought she looked very familiar... When she looked at the ball again, she blinked again, then beamed; she could see herself in the reflection! Did that mean she was the fairest of them all? "That was a great question willow!" She said, patting her hair back while noting the previous picture the ball had shown, a needle and thread needle and thread...hmm.... Crystal ball, your clues are great! Now can you tell me bout the gem in this paint? She then requested, thinking the gem and the killer might have a connection (sn: poke mattix)
