He wasn't quite sure what was going on here but it seems Eric was the culprit of poisoning Shira. Kyo walked on over and watches the both of them along with the others who were there. He did not say anything. What reasons does Eric had may have been his own. Kyo did not blame him for such a thing, a man has to make a difficult choice sometimes. Even if it is a foolish one. Aislin rolled her eyes. "Yeah, yeah. You guys go duke it out. I'll just help a dying person here." she said sarcastically. "I don't know if this'll help. But my dad freaks out when I don't keep it handy on missions or trips so it must be helpful. I know for a fact it isn't bad so...brace for yourself for...a bad taste probably. She put the vial up to his lips and helped him swallow a few drops. "I hope this works." she said as she watched for any possible change.

 He who dares__________________________Eric drank the potion, not able to tell what it was but not much caring either. Anything that might help. The potion went down easy and he felt it working in his body. Alone it wouldn't be enough but combined with Marai's healing power he felt himself able to breathe slightly better. He took several deep breaths. The poison was still burning inside him but Marai's healing power was holding it and the potion had taken away some of the damage. Whatever Scarlet had mixed it with had been potent. Of course. "I love you too Atticus!" He called with one of his breaths, able to hear slightly better now. He was surprised they'd been able to hold off as much damage as they had but he wasn't out of the woods yet. He needed another push of some kind... WINS

Aislin frowned. She couldn't help feeling just a tad bit guilty. She was the one who was pushing for this stupid camping trip. Maybe if she didn't do it mayne this wouldn't be happening right now. They'd still be laughing and joking around at her house. Sexy Atticus would be Happy Atticus, not Enraged Atticus. No one's life would be slipoing away because at least they'd be near a hospital. She sighed regretfully.

Atticus would stop what he was saying and hear Eric's words. turning back around for a few seconds, Atticus would be seen smiling and relieved, "I thought I told you that I don't go that way Eric, but if you do then it's cool." he called back as it seems that he had returned to his normal cheerful self. Waling back towards Dara, Atticus would seem sad, "I'm sorry for my words, please forgive me. I tend to get that way when those I care about dies. Aislin watched horrified as Shira also doubled over in pain. "The potion, Shira!" she said as she went to her side. She helped Shira also take a few drops of the somewhat healing liquid. It was official. Aislin felt guilty. Her fault or not, she felt responsible. Sure, she was the youngest of the pairs but she still felt as if she could have prevented this.

"I'm sorry too. It's just he keeps almost dying to save the lives of others, so when you said he could die I snapped. It's a very touchy subject for me."

Aislin smiled sheepishly. "Just get better, Shira-nee." she said wiping her eyes to stop the threatening tears. "You too, Eric. Please get better. I don't know what woukd happen if I ever lost any of you guys." she said. She smiled a little more when Dara and Atticus stopped fighting. "Okay, if everything's better now can we refocus and save some lives?"

He who dares__________________________As Marai increased her healing power, Eric felt the pain ebb even more. The poison began to fade, finally burning itself out. Marai's healing began reversing the damage instead of just holding it off as the poison continued to weaken and breathing came easier to Eric. His breaths became more even and normal. He coughed up one more mouthful of blood before his breathing was normal again. WINS

Dara soothingly brushed his hair away from his face with her fingers, still slightly crying. "Eric, you really have to stop almost/completely dying on me. I'm probably considered legally mental at this point. And I wouldn't know what to do if you ever died for good unless you die from old age with me by your side. So please just get better."
