Issa snarled and swung a paw at her sister's side as she passed, turning to face her once more.
"Get over yourself Sala." She growled, blue eyes flashing. "I am sorry that I attacked you for no reason, and I apologized. There's nothing I can do about it if you don't believe me or don't accept my apology, its your decision to make, but don't act like a damned fool... You can't tell me whether I mean something or not..."

Salania laughed. "A damned fool, am I?" She hissed, voice full of a dark humor. "And you would know, right? Because you know me so well." She laughed again, bitterness lacing through the once joyful sound. "If you hadn't been wrapped up in your own jealousy and then your own guilt, then maybe you would have gotten the chance to know me, rather then accuse me of being a fool." She leaned in really close to her sister, anger and regret flaring through her eyes. "You don't know me, and for that I am sorry. When you get your solar head out of your a**, then come talk to me." She snapped before turning on heel, slashing her sister in the face with her tailfeathers.

"I could say the same for you, what do you know of me?" Issa rolled her eyes. "If you would accept my apology and get over your own ego, then we might have had a chance to know each other."
Her eyes narrowed and she snapped at her sister's feathers. "Not that it matters, it was in your paws sister dearest-' she made it sound like the worst of insults-' and you trampled it into the dust. Enjoy."
She turned and stalked away, four feathers lashing through the air in her anger.

"No!" She turned around and pounced at her sisters back, missing but grabbing Issa's tail in her teeth and pulling her to a hault. "You will not pin this on me." She snarled. "It was you that were so obssesed with being anything but normal! You who couldn't look past that I have more of our father in me then our mother! You who made me feel like a freak because I could do something you couldn't." Sala started to laugh. "Maybe I should have accepted your apology. But guess what, sister? It is not in my nature to forgive and forget." She paused for a moment, a demons smile masking her own. "And that is your fault."

Issa didn't turn, nor hesitate in her progress, merely kicked out her hind legs to free her tail. "We are only what is in our nature to be.. I did not teach you to be what you are, even I won't think so highly of myself that I can influence you."
She threw a smile over her shoulder and slashed her tail back and forth a bit. "I tried to apologize for a foolish notion of my cubhood, and you proved you were more of a child than I... Well then, so it shall be.. You shall not forgive, but take care not to forget this was all your choice. Goodbye Sala, tell mother and father for me, won't you?"

"Tell them yourself, Issaria of Dawn's First Light." She growled softly. "But before you run off to where it is that you wish to go, know this." Her voice dropped to a hiss, barely audiable. "You were my sister. I respected you, trusted you, cared for you, and you threw it all back in my face. What you don't understand is that you are right. You can't influcence me. Not now, nor ever again. But you did. You see, while you wanted to be like me, I wanted to be like you, normal. I have since gotten over that phase." She rose her voice again, to an almost roar. "Issaria of Dawn's First Light, I break my ties to you. From this point forward you are not my sister, not my friend, not my enemy. You are nothing to me." She took a step backward, toward the den before vanishing.

"You were dead to me the moment you rejected my apology." Issaria said softly, and her voice was sorrowful. "I would mourn the loss of a sister, but she's been dead too long."
And with that she turned and exited the Pride Lands.

Salania watched Issa leave, hearing her last remark. Still unseen, she threw her head back and roared filled with sorrow, pain, and, above all, anger. The call echoed across her fathers lands, soon to be empty one more royal. When the last of the echoes reached her, she ran. Ran from her not-sister, from her family, and from the reprecussions of her actions. She did not want to be anywhere when her family found out that Sala had driven her sister off. So she ran until she was far from her home, outside her father's lands.

Akitana woke from her afternoon nap, wondering at the fading sound of her daughter's voice. Sala sounded hurt, upset, angry. Aki jumped to her feet and ran out of the cave, looking around wildly. In her heart, she already knew that her daughter was gone. She didn't know why Sala had left, nor even how she knew...
"Salania? Issaria!" She called loudly, wondering if her daughters would reply.

Hinhallow returned to the Den at the sound of his mother's voice, wondering at his sister's roar. He had been communicating with a young antelope, so he had happened to miss everything in his sister's exchange. "Mother... I'm sorry..."

Sabastian raised his head and let a deep yawn rise after hearing his mate calling out for two of their children. 'somethings wrong...' he thought to himself as he stood and slowly walked out of their den and sat down next to the Lioness. "mmmm..." he stated while while blinking into the sunlight, "Seems like the girls have possibily wandered off this time intstead of our sons..." he added while glancing around. Noticing Adit still sleeping off in a corner which was highly unusual for this time of the day, but perhaps it was for the best.

Akitana sat at the mouth of the cave, tall and straight of bearing even in her heartache, chin resting on her chest as tears slid down her cheeks.
"They have not wandered, oh King of Mine.. They are gone, forever, perhaps.. They left, with a purpose... I do not think they will return.."

Personally, Hinhallow agreed.. He settled nest to his mother, leaning against her and giving a soft purr.. A lion would have to be a fool to think that Sala and Issa would return once they said they were leaving.. They were too proud.. 'Farewell, dearest sisters...'

Sabastian glanced down to his son and then out across his lands as a heavy sigh lifted from his chest. His girls were gone? how could it be.... 'what have I done wrong?' he thought to himself. as his eyes glanced over the landscape. "I sh.... shall return." he stated to his queen as he sprinted off as he caught the last bit of his daughter's call, all be it too late, but still he ran off at full sprint to try at least.

But coming to where they had been he found nothing more then the desturbed soil where they had been which is where he laid just to be close to his girls one final time as a tear slid from his eyes. 'I have wronged my girls.....' he softly whispered to himself. "I am sorry."

Akash woke with a sneeze and glanced around the empty cave and blinked. "Mom? dad?" he asked while blinking, stretching and then yawning deeply. "murf... where is everyone?" he asked while standing and wandering about and then eventually towards the opening of the den.

Akitana watched her mate flee the den, leaving her to deal with things alone. Sabastian had been doing that more and more as of late, until she felt like she no longer had a mate. She felt alone as leader of the Pride. Knowing the loss of her daughters was permanent, she hung her head for a moment. Another thing for her to handle on her own...
With a heavy heart, she drew a deep breath, and then lifted her head. Squaring her form in determination, she paced into the Pride Lands, knowing the King was suppossed to patrol and watch over his lands. Knowing also that Sabastian was in no shape to do this, she accepted the burdan. "Watch over the Den, Hinhallow."

Hinhallow watched his mother melt away into the Pride Lands, envying her strength and courage even after all that occuring in her life. With a simple huff, he lifted his head proudly and sat, watching over the Den as the Queen had asked.
Upon Adit's waking, Hin gave a slight smile. "Brother... You have missed much.. Salania and Issaria have left us, for good... Father blames himself, and lays in misery in some extent of the lands.. Mother is patroling the Pride Borders, maintaining our lives..."

Blinking at his brother, Adit tilted his head and stared out across the lands.... "Bu.... huh?" he asked while blinking. "What do you mean the left for good? they can't leave. you're joking." he stated. Shruging he watched his mother head off and then he glanced back to his brother. Realziing the extend of what was happening he then realized that his brother wasn't joking and chased after his mother to try to keep her company as she patroled.

"You know mom?" he stated a few minutes after catching up with her.... "thing's arn't always what they seem. Father may blame himself for the girls leaving, but he does still love you." Adit stated while watching his mother as he walked along side her while trying his best to keep up with her stride

After what seemed like an eternity of sleep, the lioness's eyes slowly opened. Her tail flicked gently as she gave a steady yawn. Anastacia was still sleepy, and yet filled with adrenaline. As she got up, a wave of pain hit her causing the lioness to flinch. She felt movement inside of her belly. It couldn't be that time...could it?! She looked over at her still sleeping mate, and lightly nudged him with her maw. "Benton...Benton, I think its time. Please wake up... urgency filled her voice as she tried to keep her breathing steady. Already, the pains were coming faster."
