Kioku dropped her hand from Miyos shoulder gently, then watched her walk away a little sadly. She knew that something was bothering Miyo, but she didn't know what. She'd ask her about it later, when they could talk more privately.

Ari approached Miyo solemnly and held her.
"Try not to think about it, M`yo," Ari whispered, "Remember that in the end, all is reversible."
I`m sorry I said anything, Miyo, Ari thought, hating herself.

Miyo turned to Ari and wiped away the tears, leaving a small smile. "Y'know, you're right! That's why I'm doing this in the first place... The reversal...of what I did...." Miyo smiled slightly, but it was sincere and she happliy grabbed onto Ari and Akira again. "To the market place!!!" Her sadness had not completly gone. There was no way it could, being where she was. But it was a start.

Kioku followed Miyo and the rest again, rocking Rose gently so that she wouldn't wake up. She could tell that she was still sad, but she didn't want to push the issue right now.

Miyo smiled at them all. "Well, guys as soon as we find the Elrics, I'll tell you about it...I'll tell you about my sister....about Chise..."

Akira broke his silence. "Kioku. May I speak with you for a moment?" He asked, stopping so the group walked past him.

Kioku blinked and looked up at Akira because she'd been looking down at Rose. She sensed that what he wanted to tell her might be private, since he had let the others go by them. She then nodded at him. "Yeah, sure, Akira. What's this all about?"

Miyo looked at them but kept walking. "You can have your private Convo, just don't take to long, 'kay? You'll get lost! This town is bigger than it seems!!!!" She looked back ahead and continued dragging Ari along.

Akira nodded as he watched the rest of the group go off. He turned back and looked Rose as soon as they were out of earshot. "Tell me, what would you do if your child was a monster?"

(I'm assuming that you meant that Akira looked down at Rose.)
Kioku looked at Akira in shock, her mouth opening and her eyes growing wide as she gasped and tried to find her voice again, as her heart had jumped into her throat some at hearing Akiras question. "A m-monster..? W-what do you mean, A-Akira..?" She managed to choke out, clutching Rose to her a little tighter.

"Your worry." He said, bringing his gaze to Kioku now. "Did you not fear your child to be a Hommunculous?"

Kioku gathered herself, calming herself down with a few deep breaths. She looked straight back into Akiras eyes, serious. "Akira, I don't know who Roses father is. Yet, anyways. He may be a Humunculi, he may not. It is interesting that the Humunculi don't age, and neither does Rose. I don't see how that makes her a monster though. I've never seen anything in her to indicate that either." Rose began to whimper a little and Kioku realized that she was holding her just a little too tightly. She let up her grip on her some and began to rock her gently again. "If I do find out that she might become a monster somehow, I will do everything in my power to try and help prevent that, Akira. You can be sure of that. I love Rose with all my heart, and I don't want to see that become of her." Kiokus voice started to shake a little on the last part, a tear coming to her eye.

"It's not just talk to me, Akira. Rose came out of me. I carried her inside of me for nine months, and then I gave birth to her. You can't tell me that that was an illusion and that there is no meaning behind it. Like I said, I love her with all my heart. I will stay true to my words and protect her no matter what, even though I don't completely know what she is yet."
