"I'm just not sure I even know Josh anymore. I mean, he just moved back in May." Emily sighed and began examining her nails. "I don't know."  

[KT_Tonguetied]

"Well...maybe the best thing you can do is talk to him over Christmas Break. You know, get to know him again as a friend, and then make your decision," Sunrise said slowly.

"What ever happens, Austin can not find out about Josh." Emily's eyes grew wide. "Not yet at least. I'm ver lost, and I don't need him becoming jealous again."  

[KT_Tonguetied]

"He won't hear it from me," Sunrise said immediately.  

[LilyHermioneChapman]

"Thank you Sunrise." Emily smiled. "I just don't know right now, and I can't have Austin jumping to conclusions. I think you know what I mean."  

[KT_Tonguetied]

"I do. After the Fate incident, I don't think we should even talk about other boys around him," Sunrise said.  

[LilyHermioneChapman]

"He totally shocked me with Fate." Emily shuttered. "And Fate has never kissed me, nor been alone with me."  

[KT_Tonguetied]

"I know, that was just odd," Sunrise said with a concerned look on her face.  

[LilyHermioneChapman]

"Though he's calmed down." Emily smiled and sat back. "I'm happy for that at least."  

[KT_Tonguetied]

"Yeah that's a good sign," Sunrise said happily.  

[LilyHermioneChapman]

"Josh is really good with my siblings also. He used to always play with us, and this summer he came over everyday to help me watch them." Emily sighed. "I think he's a really good friend, but I don't know anymore than that."  

[KT_Tonguetied]

"Has he ever gotten jealous of other boys when you were dating?" Sunrise asked, hinting jealously because of Austin's slight problem with it/  

[LilyHermioneChapman]

"No, I've never dated besides him and Austin. He doesn't know about Austin, so yah." Emily sighed. "Though I did have several guy friends, and he didn't care."  

[KT_Tonguetied]

"Well...if you somapre how Josh acted around your guy friends, and how Austin reacted to your friendship with Fate, then you should be able to decide who trusts you more, thus being the better boy to be with. A relationship is built on trust," Sunrise said ,quite proud of how she managed to work that one out.

"I know." Austin terrified me that day, and I kept thinking of Josh. Wondering if he would laugh at my weakness as I sat in the hospital. Mostly though I thought of how he would have handled the situation. He probably would have laughed, thrown a pillow at Fate telling him that he should show more respect with children in the room, and left it at that so that I wouldn't have spun, and the curtain wouldn't have fallen." Emily sighed and laughed. "He's also not afraid to fight. He's always in trouble with his parents for that, but it's cool because whenever someone calls me a baby, or says I can't do something because I'm a girl, he'll spring into fight mode. That's why he would have said there were children in the room instead of women."
