She let go of his collar, Zetsumeii had always been honest to a fault, there was no way she could not believe him. She put her forehead against the passenger of the dashboard, letting her hair hide her face. She started to fill up but fought against it. She remained still for almost a minute, complete silence, and completely defensive. She felt responsible for her families death, the loss of her sister's body, Kid's injury was caused by her and led to C's death, she unleashed Ymir's incarnation into the world and brought all the curses that came with it, she had put Evan in danger innumerable times, and now she responsible for the death of Zetsumeii's friends and almost the death of Zetsumeii himself. Knowing the truth, how could anyone not hate her, knowing what she had caused.
"Everyone around me get's hurt. I bring pain to everyone I care about. This is all my fault. I unleashed that monster into the world. I'm responsible for what happened to you. I'm so sorry."
She broke down, her tears dropping like rain onto the leather lined floorboard of her LandRover as she pounded the dash with her fist. She knew she had to calm down but she couldn't, and she heaved desperately in order to stop.
Why does he have to see me like this? This is so humiliating.
"Just...... give me....... a moment," she said, "Just a moment....... I'll get it together."
She managed to get her emotions stuffed back inside herself, tucked away deep inside where they belonged. She pulled herself back up, sat straight, and looked at Zetsumeii sadly for a moment.
"I'm sorry," she said, "You have every right to be disgusted with me. You probably evan hate me. But please believe me, I never wanted any of this to happen. I tried to fight it, but I was too weak."

He waited for her to speak, it was like waiting for a bomb to explode. When she finally spoke, he was bewildered by what came out.
"No..no, that isn't true, you didn't..."
The onset of her sobbing was too much for him to endure, and unable to control his actions, he wrapped his arms around her and spoke into her ear, attempting to console her. His own words were forgotton later on, and he knew not what he said, but after a short while he came to and quickly pulled away, slightly embarassed. Her next words spoken were completely ignored by him as he solidly responded,
"I'd never think of you like that, ever. Don't apologize, please. I have no idea what you've gone through, but to me, you're anything but weak."

"I sat and watched as they drained my mother, my father, my older brother, of blood over a big gold bowl and burnt their bodies. They were sacrificed to Ymir. They were sacrificed because of me. You could never understand that, never in a million years how that felt!" she cried, pressing her hands against her face. "I was powerless to stop them. I was absolutely weak and powerless. I did nothing to help them. I could've have fought, I could've done something! But I just watched. For God sakes I didn't even cry for them when it was happening!"
She went on, she couldn't stop now, she had started and now she had to finish. She didn't even care that she was crying again.
"I let them take me! I let them experiment on me! I should have willed myself to die, but I was too much of a damned coward! I couldn't even let my sister leave me when she died. I was too scared, I didn't want to die, I didn't want to be alone, and I didn't know what to do. I let them put Ymir into me because I was too damned afraid to die! That's what a weak, worthless coward I am. You could never understand how pathetic I am!"
Red took out her bowie knife and stabbed herself in the wrist, nothing deep, but enough to make herself bleed.
"I became the vessel for Ymir, and I forgot about it because I was so afraid of the truth that I just wanted it to go away. But the truth doesn't go away, you can't run from it forever. C died, and after I buried him I vowed that I'd never be weak, that I'd never ever let someone I loved be hurt like that ever again. I trained myself to fight, I became a mercenary for the sole purpose of being a strong fighter. But what I should have done was let myself die, and Ymir would have gone with me. But I was too afraid, not for the sake of others like I thought, but for myself. That's the kind of disgusting person I am."
With that out of her system, she felt a little bit better, and she had stopped crying now, looking ahead toward the road with eyes filled with sorrow and regret.

Quote: You could never understand that, never in a million years how that felt! "I couldn't.."
He tried to calm her, anything to make her stop herself, but the moment he began talking she continued, spilling everything from her heart. Things he could barely comprehend.
She finished, and suddenly a flash of steel was all he could see. The moment she cut herself, his hand reached out and wrapped itself around the wound. The blood flowed freely for a moment, yet eventually it slowed to a trickle, finding its way past his fingers. He coudn't find anything to say, and keeping his hand around her wrist, he proceeded to listen to her. He was unable to speak. The moment she finished, he looked to her sorrowful eyes and spoke quietly.
"If you would have died, I never would have met anyone at the Leauge..I never would have become the fighter I am today..I never would have met you."
He left his statement ring in the air, and still grasping her wrist, he used his left hand to get the vehicle started, and back on the road. It would be a long trip.

She looked tired at him tiredly, not even bothering to pull her wrist away as she ussually would have done. Now that she said it, she was sorry she had opened her mouth, but it was too late to take any of it back. Zetsumeii "If you would have died, I never would have met anyone at the Leauge..I never would have become the fighter I am today..I never would have met you." I can't believe it, she thought, By now he hates me. How could anyone think differently."But you were almost killed, and your comrades. You mean, you're still glad to have met me after what I just told you?" she asked, "Don't you hate me for that, even a little bit?"He was the first person who she ever really explained in detail about what happened and how she felt about it, no one else had ever had a clue, one person had tried, but she didn't want to talk about it. The tough & outspoken leader who pretended to care about little else besides fighting and profit melted away. The nuetral stoic deadpan expresion that she ussually carried became a look of radiant sorrow as looked Zetsumeii in the eye. Yet there was some hope in her voice as she asked him the last question with an honesty that approached childlike innocence. This was one of those odd moments when his words would have the power to affect someone very deeply.

Looking at her for a moment, then back towards the road ahead, he let forth a small smile and said,
"How could I hate you, of all people? I mean..what you just said..its pretty evident you've had it worse than me.
'But what about the North..?'
I mean...what happened back then wasn't your fault! It was that damn cult! You...you weren't the one who nearly killed me,
'Killed you.'
it was completely
'They killed you.'
their fault."
'You.'
He cringed for a second, but miliseconds later he returned to normal. He took a glance at her once again and smiled sadly.
"So, yeah. I can still say I'm glad I've met you, ya' know?"

She wrapped up her wrist quickly with some bandages from the glove compartment, doing so while speaking.
"Mercenaries don't become what they've become without a reason," Red said sadly, "I've learned that the hard way. I'm sure I'm not the only one with problems, with a past, with regrets. I saw you cringe, I can tell your disgusted with me, but I still believe you when you say you don't hate me. I hope you're telling the truth. If not, I'd rather have the lie."
She put her head back and sighed pathetically, looked out toward the road, then toward Zetsumeii. Then she fell toward him, allowing her head to rest on his shoulder as she leaned against him, if he would let her.
"So I'll let myself be weak, just for tonight, aren't we all entitled to a moment of weakness now and then. Maybe someday, you'll have a moment of weakness and tell me how you really feel." she looked toward the windshield, talking to his faint reflection as she gained a little bit of her former attitude back, though her voice was tired, "You tell another soul about this, and I'll slit your throat in training."
She fell into a silent, dreamless, sleep.

'..How I really feel?'
He positioned himself so she would be more comfortable, and stared out at the road which had finally begun to curve gently.
'You know it would never work. She would leave. Like you left your family, like you left her and the others three years ago.'
'I never said...'
'Don't go on pretending, you know how you feel.'
Although she had fallen asleep, he whispered an answer no one would hear.
"I don't hate you. I'm not disgusted with you."
He flashed one of his rare genuine smiles of contentedness .
"Don't worry. I won't tell a soul."

Across the endless grasslands the winds blew. all was calm, but nobody knew, about the epic throw down that would ensue, after this lone fighter strolled through.
He flattened stalks of green grass with every step, his clothes were fly, and he was well kept, his journy was a long one, and he knew nothing except, it had been many hours since he last slept.
It was time that this man proved that he had ascended, beyond the very skills on which so long he had depended, finally, he reached the spot his foe recommended, then he stopped, here his trek had finally ended.
Amidst the rolling fields Dashboard stood, He was determined to accomplish what he said he would, so he took a deep breath and holla'd as loud as he could, his voice echo'd all throughout nature's hood:
"REEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIIIKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Dashboard "REEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIIIKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Animals raged. The earth trembled. The sky darkened. It was not the power of Dashboard's voice that did this. It was the boldness he had to say the one name that had become taboo on this peaceful earth. For it only took one. One who was cocky enough, skilled enough, reckless enough, and stupid enough... To call forth the greatest incarnation of evil and destruction to ever exist by challenge. And whenever he was called forth, it was so. His appearance was not hasty, but you could be asured that he was there. And if you were not the one to call him forth, you could be asured that your safety.. no matter how near or far you were... was in immediate danger. His name... was Reiko. And since he had been put away for so long. Someone had to pay. No. Everyone. Starting with that man. Team Black In Action presents...

A sinister grin made its way across Dash's face as he glanced in the direction of Reiko's approach. Yes, he had definately been heard. With that being said, it took all of 5 seconds for Dash to reduce this: to THIS! There were no goofy poses, no screams or grunt sessions which made him look like he were trying to give birth to a Water Buffalo through a drinking straw, and no "power-up" sequence spanning across 15 episodes. They were not needed... yet. "Now..." And off he went, leaping from the epicenter of the chaos he had orchestrated. His destination: Reiko. His Mission: To- C'mon now, I shouldn't even have to say it!

"DASHBOARD! YOUR ONLY OPTION IS DEATH!" Upon closing distance with Dash, Reiko's speed picked up in a short burst. Keeping him from being trailed by eye, so bystanders had to follow his movements by the trail of air currents being ripped in half and unnatrually redirected, something that would probably cause trouble for people miles away. That was when he slowed himself down just above Dashboard's head.. with a sudden stop, as though it was a head on car crash. His jerked downward with his fists extending out with a grabbing splash to send Dash blazing towards the ground. Creating an even bigger crater than the one he himself created by... blinking. This one... this one cause earth to split. Destroying faultlines and killing several small farms, people, and animal habitats with a ping pong effect that affected everything... especially the nearby cities. But Reiko knew Dash wouldn't be finished. They were only getting started. But Dash would have to endure a lot of pain to get out of this one. Upon successful smash. Deep, deep, down into the earth... a twinkle came in Reiko's eye. Then the sound of a drop of water was heard. Then there would be more trembling deep within the broken faults of the earth. The loud thuds of a body being beaten. All this before the final punch... destroying the area completely and putting it thousands of feet below sea level. Catching his foe... nonchalantly. He laughed and said, "You have not yet felt enough pain." With a roll into foot thrust.. he launched Dashboard at.. the highest speed ever classified by science.. (probably faster) towards Mithirl Mountains.. meaning destruction for everything in the path of Dash's careening body. THE PLAINS OF GAIA ARE RUINED FOR MILES... NOTHING SURVIVES
ARE THE MITHRIL MOUNTAINS NEXT? GO SEE!

In a section of the Plains near a lone tree, a figure dressed in white would be seen. He lay on his back, the tree being atop a hill of sorts, and the figure in white lay with his feet downhill, and his head up towards the tree. He was looking up at the sky and the clouds, a soft breeze blowing the fluffy white blobs of water vapor around his view, twisting them into all sorts of shapes. It was still sunny, and warm enough to be comfortable. For miles around the only sound was the wind blowing through the long grass and the branches of the tree. And the sweet smell of warm grass drifted lazily over the figure as he sat there, thinking, dreaming, and pondering...

Oh!
He said, a bit startled. He had just waifed his way through the grass, using a loose read he had plucked from the ground to part the tall stalks.
I didnt realize anyone else know about this spot.
He had a black jacket with long coat tails extending just a bit past his knees. His clothes were pressed as always. He his gloved right hand through his hair with a smile on his features. His eyes scanned down taking not of the way Mr. Ryugi's seemed to be idly scanning the sky.
Are you alright, Mr. Ryugi?

Maximos?!
Ryugi didn't turn his head to look at the new arrival. Instead, he tilted his head back, his red eyes almost rolling back in his head as he looked at his friend, who appeared to be almost upside down from his viewpoint.
Heh, to be honest, I didn't know about this spot. Though being the lone tree in this area, it makes a nice place to relax, don't you think?
He then stopped as his friend asked his next question, and looked nack up into the sky at the clouds.
I'm...not too bad. I've been better... How about you?
