Meep! Too soon to talk just yet. Had a few investments bomb on me. Fortunately I built up a decent amount of profit after the recalculations to cover the loss and I've pretty much recovered already.
But damn, altogether I probably lost about 15,000gp because of the sudden drop on Katana, Norisu and OMFG. They were climbing so good too crying
Ah well. No one had a loss in their gold so all is good, yes?
*ducks and covers from incoming missiles of rage*
Oh, and I"m rarely on MSN cause I don't get a long period of time on the computer with so much stuff going on around the house. Building fences doing minor repairs, repairing family computers, caring for the kids, attempting to help clean the place... gonk

It'll do fine. As I said, Ethan forked over 11,000 and I did pretty good with that.
Basically what I do is group investing. Everyone's money in that account is used on everything and profit is divided up equally when I'm finished for that run.
It might seem like a weird system, but it has been working very well so far. That way if someone doesn't have much gold to let me use, like your and Ethan, you don't get shafted on any profit.
Myself and Uma are the only exceptions. We don't claim any of the profit.

Man, I've been feeling run down lately. I hate insomnia.
Yeah, I can mindlessly rant here if I want. It's my marketplace thread.
Now, details relevant to the thread: I'm stuck with another OMFG. I was thinking it would sell better than it did this time. Again. I thought it was worth the risk for 30,000 profit! Grual sold one for a 6000gp profit!
Another random note: These Lightsabers rock so frigging hard. I've been a diehard Star Wars fan for...oh...20 years... and I'm finding I like the Lightsaber item here on Gaia as much as the Katana and Gwee, which to me are the greatest special items ever.
