General_Aragorn_Pheonox As John was nearing the tree, he ran a bit faster. Not slowing down, instead of plowing into the tree, instead he starts to run around it. Quickly to 'disappear' behind huge body of it. Aragorn saw his plan and decided to try to get him to come out. He opened his great dragon mouth and launched an extra large fire ball at the tree. Firey chunks of wood flew out and rolled down the sides of the tree, heading towards the gound and potentialy driving the monk out. Aragorn swirved around the tree at the last moment and hovered about eleven feet from the tree.
Slight revision to plan as soon as his elven sense kicks in about the fire ball. The fire ball hits the huge tree and takes out a good chunk of it, but John pulls a PRince of persia manuever. He starts running up the side of the tree that remained, batting away what chunks he could while have a stingign sensation form all that touched him. Using the explosion form the fire ball hit as cover, he jumps from the tree within the smoke portion to cover his attack. He equips a shuriken and using hte cover of the smoke launches it toward where he thinks his oppoennt's huge right eye is.
Due to His opponent beign huge, the shuriken so mall, and the smoke. Likely, it wouldn't be seen coming. When the monk came down from the jump. he starts hoofing it again at 60 miles per hour.

Fortunantly, the shuriken didn't hit his eye, but right below it. The shurikenbounced off a scale and aragorn saw somthign dart through the smoke, not noticing the shuriken. HE flapped his massive wings and rose into the sky, scanning the area. He saw the monk running into the trees and gave chase. This time, he got closer to the tree tops, about ten feet away. Aragorn shot a fire ball in fron of the monk and then quickly in back. He hoped this whould either confuse the monk and make him stop for a second and damage him.

The plan failed, but not totally. Another fact was found out with the shuriken versus him. His sense told about a fireball being shot followed by another. Figuring this guy was starting to get smart, he wouldn't go backwards, but forwards through and around the flame. Pulling off yet another Prince of Persia ish a manuever, he started running along the tree just before the front fireball impact area and long jumped to the next tree a little bit past it. He ran down it nearly tripping, but regaining his footing. He and the dragon were about to encounter another huge tree in the forest.

He fired off two fire balls in front of the monk, one directly in front of the monk, the second hitting right in front of the first fire ball.

John Trio General_Aragorn_Pheonox Aragorn saw that the man was no longer on the same path and began flying higher into the air. He hovered there, peering around for any sighn of the blind monk. Nothing. He must have stopped to rest Aragorn though as he starred down into the forest. Good....My plan is working. aragorn though again. He realized that the man whould regain his energy if given the time to rest, so he swooped down and opened his mouth. He began launching fire balls in the area he thought the blind man had disspaeered in, attempting to force him to run again. Aragorn was way off a at first, but gradually getting closer. The monk quickly tore off several nearby branches and starting jumping on some of the lower limbs, so he won't be as easily seen. Perfectly balancing on them, as he jumped from tree to tree, he sharply threw the bracnehs at bracnh grouping of other trees a bit off his path to cover his movements. Aragorn saw the branches but didn't go after them. Unluckily for the monk, he had been watching that area and had seen the branches fly. He gave chase after the source, launching fire ball after fire ball.

Launching this many fire balls , plus this much air time has to be taking a toll atleast somewhat on the dragon. After jumping from tree to tree after fire ball and fire ball. Instead of jumping again, he waited for the fireball a bit. Then, under the cover of it and the coming explosion, he slid down the side of the tree on a side that would make him not seeable, yet by aragorn. There he rested for a bit, for now.

Excuse me, but I believe we are both growing wiery of this game. I propose that we meet on the ground and stop running. We settle this fist to fist. Any weapons may be used. If you accept, step out into the open, I will not shoot but instead land and return to my human form. So, yes or no? He broadcasted telepathicaly. He flapped his wings and hovered, waiting for an answer. ((Gotta go for tonight, might be able to be on a bit this weekend. If not the weekend, monday or tuesday.
