@Urby - I was wondering about that. I REALLY like it. heart

This looks awful, but the idea of it holds a lot of meaning for me. It's just a little doodle to show the frail connection between the childhoods of my sisters and I, and our mom and aunts.

It's been a while since I uploaded something, especially something coloured.
But now that I've got my scanner hooked up to my computer and have openCanvas
I'll hopefully be doing more art.

Anyways, to commend reaching 1000 views on deviantart I decided to colour one of the pieces I did for Christmas that I had so much fun doing.
So I haven't slept at all because I've been doing this. gonk

But as of right now I've only got the flats done. crying
I'll show it off anyways.

It's a tax collector - "fat, rich, cigar-smoking" as described. He's nowhere near as fat as I was trying to make him, but I'm happy that I ventured beyond the normal pretty-faced girl/boy.

From observation (go me!).
Did it today in art...
Quickie that took almost 3 hours. o.0
Very uncomfortable pose to choose. >.o
(My jeans=tightest things everrrr.)
But it was worth it.
Still want to make some adjustments though.

I also found out that I have really small hands...
Y'know that whole thing where hands should be as big as your face?
Not so, more like 2/3. D:

So my friend pointed out that the right leg needs work.
I should fix my calf.

i picked up a sketchbook the other day, because when i only draw on the computer i don't tend to draw as much cos i get distracted by the shinies. and by shinies i mean internets.

just a dump of two pages... trying out a variety of styles and stuff lately, experimenting. Trying to not just draw pretty girls over and over. cos that's lame. haha. aka my favourite. So i drew some beasties. and even a guppy. and by guppy i mean goatpuppy. and then a dumb fat dog because it made me smile. biggrin

the reason there's two doodles of babies on my sketchpages is b/c of this pic. i cannot draw babies. hence i must learn to draw babies. D:
