Gabriel nodded and did what Shae suggested.

One car left now. There were officers coming back to ask them something. The officer tapped on the driver's window, and Marcus rolled it down. He glanced back at the other people in the car, but managed not to notice anything suspicious - yet. "Driver's license?" he asked, releasing the handle of his MP5 to hold out a hand.

Since this was a prefabricated disguise, Shae had an ID ready. He pulled it out of his pocket and handed it to the officer with a slight smile to match the picture on the ID.

((YES INDEED SIR)) ((But you forgot something else.))
The officer took the license, slid his sunvisor up on his helmet, glanced up at Marcus again, then jumped and dodged back a few feet, raising his MP5. "Alpha, we have blood on the car!" he shouted. A few other officers came sprinting over. "All of you, out of the car now!" the first one shouted. He had noticed the blood sprayed across the dashboard and passenger seat - and it wasn't an insubstantial amount.
"Now!" the officer added for furious emphasis. Alyx opened the door and began to climb out. "Someone, check them for weapons," the officer ordered, and one of the men slung his Uzi over his shoulder and moved up to start patting people down.

((Gawsh, don't we have high-tech cleaningsomethings?))
Cado did not look forward to his turn being patted down.

"Waitwaitwait," Shae said as he stepped out of the car. His jacket covered his revolvers, and no one had come to pat him down yet. "That's just the blood from my friend. He recently had an operation and he was coughing up blood. We were taking him to the hospital just now." He gestured at Cado, who luckily didn't look all that good. He was slightly pale, a tad clammy, and, let's face it, he never looked really good to begin with.

Cado resisted the urge to cough for emphasis. It seemed a bit too obvious of a thing to do.

((NO MAGICAL CLEANING SUPPLIES. THEY GO TO CABAL.))
The officer hesitated as Alyx climbed out as well. The others lowered weapons, staring at the first. "That much?" he asked, indicating the blood splattered, but it was believable.
A man got out of the car behind them. "Come on, I don't have time for this!" he shouted. "I've got places to be!"
The officer faltered again, then asked, "Why not take him to the hospital across town?"

The officer faltered again. The man from behind stepped up from his car. A woman came out the far side. "No, don't, Jack," she groaned.
"Keep this moving!" the man shouted. The officer shook his head at the man and lifted his firearm.
"Sir, please stay away," he demanded. The man threw up his arms and complied, stepping back to the car.
"Well... I'm sure you wouldn't object to a car search then," the officer told Marcus. "Just to be on the safe side, you know?" He gestured, and with a roll of the eyes, one of the officers went towards the trunk.

Shae stepped forward to intercept the guard, although not directly into his path. "Sir, really, we don't have that kind of time. My friend needs to get to the hospital now, and like he said, his health care plan makes it so that we need to get to the one off the highway." He looked over his shoulder. "And these people are waiting. Please sir."

The officer hesitated. "Let us go!" Jack shouted, shaking a fist. The officer gritted his teeth.
"Well... alright, fine, but do you want help? We have paramedics here, we can do some first aid," the officer offered. "I mean... the hospital this direction is a little ways."
((In other news, I'm playing around with Google Maps to make Syndicate Maps.
Yes.
Included information will be territorial claims, your team's location, and the location of opposition agent teams, opposition forces, and army frontlines.
Yes.))

Cado shook his head. "It's one of those damn first-claim plans," he groaned out. "The ones where if anyone else does anything before them, you get nothing."

Shae nodded in agreement. "He's right. Besides, I doubt you guys would have anything advanced enough to deal with internal stuff from a botched operation. We'll be fine." He waved for everyone to get back in the car, then climbed in. "Thanks again," he said, smiling at the cop.
