Roxas smiled gratefully at the nurse and nodded, shaking her hand gingerly. "Thank you for taking care of him..," he told her softly. He hopped off of the table and held onto Axel, helping him stand. Then he held his hand as they made their way down to the hospital wing. "Ya know...this is my first time inside a prison... Like, actually inside of it. In the bowels, if you will," he said idly, looking around at everything. "I bet if you gutted this place, repainted and tiled it, I could make it into a mansion. An extravagant mansion." He gave a proud look to Axel, a smile on his lips. "I'm really good with architecture and interior design. If we get married, I'm designing our house. You might have a say in it here or there, but I'm overall designing it." He brought their clasped hands up to his own lips and kissed Axel's knuckles. "Wouldn't that be amazing..?" he asked airily, continuing to look around.

The nurse nodded back happily. "It was nothing really, I just wish Axel didn't have to go through so much here. I mean I know I work at a prison, but Axel is really quite sweet." The nurse noted with a soft expression. She walked over to them as Roxas was helping Axel up to lend a hand. Axel was a little shaky at first, but he got his balance after a few seconds of standing. "I could see I guess, I mean I know I personally wouldn't want to live in something that even just used to be a prison." Axel said with a small laugh looking over at Roxas as they walked. "haha, no worry Roxas, if we get a house, you can decorate it anyway you want, whatever you could design would probably be way more amazing than anything I could come up with." Axel said back to Roxas before kissing him softly for a moment on his head. The nurse lead them down another hallway and into a wing with about four beds in it. There was two rooms connected to it. One seemed like an office, and the other looked like a supply closet. Axel walked over to one of the bed with stuff already set up. His bed apparently remained in use all the time due to his condition.

Roxas smiled at him, eyes shining. "Sounds like a plan to me..," he told him softly, smiling wider as Axel kissed the crown of his head. He sat down on the bed beside Axel and looked up at the nurse. "So...you said Axel talks about me a lot. What exactly had he told you?" he asked with a carefree smile on his lips. "I mean, I'm sure there's nothing bad he could say about me. I'm just curious," he said jokingly, gaze moving to Axel's happily.

The nurse smiled a little at the blonde boy. "Anything and everything, I think he does it without meaning too. I remember one day, every other sentence, he just kept repeating ' I miss Roxas '. It really was quite adorable." The nurse said with a small chuckle as she hooked up an IV to Axel's arms. Axel's face grew a light blush as he looked over at Roxas. " I was really high on pain killers that day.." He mumbled a little embarrassed as his eyes moved to the needle going in his skin. It didn't bother him, it happened at least once a day now, but it still pinched enough to get his attention.

Roxas blushed as well, but giggled a little. "Well...it's a relief to know he missed me so much...because I missed him a lot, too..." He leaned over to Axel and kissed his cheek, laying his head on his shoulder briefly. "Oh, Axel? I dunno if you've noticed, but..." He stuck his tongue out at Axel, revealing a bright red barbell through it. Then he slid his tongue back in his mouth. "...your mom pierced my tongue a little while ago... It's all healed up now. I had to have something to distract me from missing you, so I figured it was a good thing to take care of while you weren't home... I've been helping your mom out at her shop, too. She opened up, and she's doing great. I go over to visit her almost every day." He smiled at Axel, eyes sparkling softly.

Axel smiled at Roxas. "Oh. that is what that was. I wasn't too sure what that was." Axel said with a laugh examining Roxas's mouth for a moment longer. He had to stop himself from completely full-on making out with Roxas right there, it was really hot. "That's good, the shop being open probably helped her stay distracted too. She doesn't do good being alone. I'm glad you have been visiting her." Axel said with a soft smile now as he reached over with his arm that didn't have the IV and touching Roxas's face gently. Roxas was so great, he couldn't believe he had him again even after being in jail.
"This is going to be a little cold." The nurse warned before hooking up the bag to the IV. The clear liquid ran through the IV and chills moved through Axel's body. The bright emerald eyes rolled back, and his breath hitched for a moment. The feeling was still something he hadn't gotten over. In the meantime, the nurse turned back and picked up a needle with a blue-tinted liquid in it. The woman's hands moved to the IV again. She injected the needle into the IV pushing it in. The blue medicine clouded the IV bag mixing into the clear and dripping down into Axel's arm. "When the medicine takes full affect, he may become a little delusional and he talk about a numbing sensation, but it's all normal. If you have any problems, I'll be in the office okay?" The nurse said with a soft expression to Roxas before walking away from the two.
Axel looked from the IV to Roxas again. "I hope I don't go crazy, I don't want to scare you off." Axel said with a small laugh.

Roxas only smiled gently at Axel's touch. He slid his hand up to cover the redhead's and leaned into the touch, eyes closed gently. Once Axel flinched, though, it snapped him out of the daze. He held Axel's hand comfortingly, running his thumb back and forth along the back of Axel's hand. Roxas nodded at the nurse kindly. "Alright," he told her, then laid his head on Axel's shoulder again. "Axel, you can go as crazy as you want. I'm sure you know I've been through much more frightening things in my lifetime than a delirious redhead." He gave Axel a slight smirk and leaned over to kiss his cheek again. "Don't worry. When you're out of here, I'll be your little nurse. I'll even wear the sexy nurse outfit and everything," he said with a slight giggle.

Axel laughed a little at Roxas's comment. "That would definitely be awful sweet of you," He said back looking at the ceiling for a moment. He could feel the delirium setting in. The colors in the room were starting to blend together, and his mind was starting to lose all it's focus. His hand squeezed Roxas's gently as he squirmed a little in the bed. His pupils had now noticeably dilated. He laughed a little. "it's sooo warm, Roxie..." he mumbled at the feeling.

Roxas smiled. "Why don't you lay down for a little bt, Axe," he suggested softly, helping him lay back on the bed. He scooted up to where the pillow would be and sat so Axel's head was in his lap. He ran his fingers through his hair gently, leaning down to plant a soft kiss on his forehead, nose and lips. "You're so perfect, Axel... You really are..." He was aware that Axel couldn't take anything seriously with the state he was currently in, but he felt it needed to be said.

"..whoa.. Roxie how did you know I was tired...? are you like... psychic? coooooool...." Axel mumbled out. His word were drawn out and almost inaudible. If Roxas wasn't right there above him, he probably wouldn't understand half of what Axel was saying to him. "Perfect..? no. no. no. Silllllly, Roxxxie. Yooou are the perfectttt, onne haha." Axel breathed back to him happily before leaning up and kissing Roxas deeply. The 'maybe you shouldn't do that' censor didn't even attempt to kick on in this state. ".... you areee probably like... ammmmazing at sex..." The red head moved back where his head was in Roxas's lap again. "Roxie, baby, would you have sex with me? or is it even called sex? ..... no, with you it would be making love... hehe," Yup, no filter at all.

Roxas giggled at Axel's antics, feeling heat rise to his cheeks when Axel called him perfect. He closed his eyes to enjoy the deep kiss for the few moments it lasted. Then his cheeks heated up again, turning bright red. He kept his cool, though. He resumed running his fingers through Axel's hair gently, untangling parts of it. When Axel began blabbering on about sex, Roxas leaned down to kiss him firmly, quickly shutting him up. His whole face was practically glowing now. "I would love to...make love to you, Axel, but not here or now... Not until you're out of here and all healed up, okay?" he told him, inches away from his face, gazing into his eyes. His hands caressed Axel's face gently, fingertips running along the skin.

Axel laughed a little kissing Roxas again. After a moment of a simple kiss, Axel slipped his tongue into Roxas's mouth making out with him for a minute or so, before pulling back. "Whateverrrr youuu say, love." He slurred before snugging back into his lap. The red head grew quiet for a moment before he looked deeply depressed all of a sudden. "I suuure hopppe I make it therrre, roooxie... I dooon't waaant to diie withhout knnowing whaaat heaven isss like..." Axel said depressingly, but he seemed seriously doubtful that he was going to make it completely through recovery for some unknown reason.

Roxas smiled and entertained Axel with the small makeout session for those few moments. Then, when they pulled back and Axel began talking about death, he frowned. "Baby... Axel, look at me..," he said softly, moving Axel's head so he looked up at him. "You're going to make it, okay? I'll make sure you make it. Think of me as your guardian angel. I'll always be here to make you feel better and hold you while you cry if something does happen, okay?" He kissed him again deeply, reassuringly. "I'll always be here, Axe. Always." He kissed the tip of his nose, stroking his cheeks with his thumbs.

Axel frowned deeply looking up to Roxas. "Theyyy said theyyy were going to like killll me if I ever runnn aaaaway from themmm againnn. Anddd my mommmmm... They have the pppower to get away witttth it, Roxiiie..." He mumbled a little moving his free arm up and hugging Roxas's waist with it. "I don't wwwant you to ever nnnot be there for mmme...."He mumbled sounding a little more sober.

"We'll protect you and your mom, Axel. I promise. Me, my mom, Demyx, Riku... Cloud and all of your friends over there... We'll all look out for you." He ran his fingers through Axel's hair gently, still straightening it out. "I'll do whatever I can to protect you...even if it means just being the shoulder to cry on. I'll be here." His heart warmed as he looked down at Axel. "I changed my mind...I do love you, Axel... I love you with all of my heart..," he whispered softly, looking down into his eyes.
