Did Remus know how to cure the potion properly? No, she assured herself, the counter-spell, and suply of potion must be made by a girl.
Sirius was thrashing now, and making qwite a scene. Her laughter faultered as she realized the potentness of the lotion.
"Good Merlin, Kaylin, you must have one hellofa hatred for Black to make it that strong."

Remus shook his head. "That might make it a little better, but you saw what happened with the pumpkin juice, didn't you?"
Sirius, still on his knees with watering eyes, reached up and brought a hard fist onto the table. "Shut..up...and...help....me," he gasped, face stinging terribly.
Remus jabbed his wand unhelpfully in Sirius's direction, which did nothing but make him wince and jerk away. "It hurts!" he bellowed, raising his arms to the heavens, as though pleading with the ceiling to take the pain away.
Remus bit his lip. "How bad is it?" Sirius howled in reply. Remus moistened his lips and muttered something under his breath. Instantly, Sirius froze, and felt a thundering crack somewhere near his ear. The splintering continued, and the strangest sensation creeped across his face. Suddenly, something warm and slightly red fell from Sirius's face. Trembling, he rubbed his knuckle against where his cheek had been.
"My face fell off!"

Lily picked up the pace and ran over to Sirius. "Oh no, please! Remus, any ideas? His face, I don't even want to say it." She glared at the Mauraders and then gave a glance to James. He was covered in grits. "Oh joy, this is turning out to be a nice day." Lily gave a worried glance to Remus and shook her head. "The infirmary Sirius, come on let's go. And hold still would you? It's probably going to get worse that your face falling off, trust me there are ways those girls can make it worse." Lily grabbed Sirius' arm and motioned for either James or Remus to get the other.

Sirius jerked Lily away instinctively. "What...what do I look like?" He felt skin on his face, but it was covering only bone.
Remus put his wand down, positively quaking. "You--look--like a skeleton. Or something. I don't know what. Do you want me to..put it back on?"
"It doesn't hurt," said Sirius, slowly.
"So...you'll go through the rest of the day like this, then?" asked Remus, nervously.
"I suppose. I'm going to...put my..erm..face away," said Sirius. He turned a gaunt face to Kailyn. "Fix my face!" he demanded.

Lily was still worried and she was now on the verge of begging someone to help them. "Sirius, you have to go to the infirmary. Madame Pomfrey'll fix it for you. Remus, James, convince him that we need to go to the infirmary." She stood there, on the verge of yelling to Kailyn to follow Sirius' demand. Lily shok her head, she was now trying her hardest not to just drag Sirius away.

Nadia's eyes nearly bulged out of her head as she saw Sirius' 'face' fall to the ground. She gaped at the scene that took place in front of her. "Um, Kailyn, don't you think this went a little too far? I mean, his face literally fell off!" Nadia motioned to Sirius' skeletal facial structure. "Yes, Sirius is..." she paused. Nadia waved her hand around trying to find the right word, but without luck."Ok, he did deserve the burning, but his face falling off could be bending the line to far."

"It wasen't her fault Nadie- That was actually dear Remus' work." she nudged her friend a bit at the Marauder's name.
She too looked a bit disturbed about Sirius' .ahem. current state.

Nadia tilted her head as she kept watching the scene unfold. Suddenly it came to her. She quickly turned to Gwin. "So we're going to have to look at that the entire day?!" Nadia squealed. She slapped her forehead as she realised what she had just shouted."Crap! I just had to say it. Stupid. Stupid. Why did I do that?" She scolded to herself. Nadia removed her hand, revealing a large, red hand print in the middle of her forhead. Nadia hunched over her plate as she grabbed a piece of toast.

Sirius threw a dirty look to the Rogues, and held his face carefully in his hands. "Fine. I'm going to the Hospital Wing."
Remus looked a little perturbed, but stood up. "James and I are coming with you. Lily, you don't need to go," he answered. Then he looked at James. "You're coming, aren't you?"

Leah's mirth turned into suprise when Sirius's face fell clean off! "Blimey!" She gasped. " 'At's gotta 'urt!" Interestingly enough, the more excited she got, the worse her grammar got. And boy, was she excited! Not that she wanted Sirius's face to fall off or anything. Leah didn't like the marauders, but she would defend them if in mortal peril. Could you die from having your face fall off?
James nodded the afirmative, but what the -
"Sirius, your skin is turning normal, I think! It's not red anymore!" He motioned Remus to put the face back on. "Does your hand still hurt?" He asked.
(( ninja Ho ho, I think we have forgotton that Padfoot got some on his hands, oh yus we did! ))

One word escaped Kailyn's mouth. "Woah." It had been a long time since she had used the lotion. A really long time....She had mixed it up right after the woman who she had finally come to think as 'Mum' got divorced by her father. She had mixed it up, full of burning hatred and bitterness and grief....And now it was hurting someone she hardly even knew? "I guess my Da has a real high pain tolerance, 'cos he didn't yell that bad when I slapped him.....It must get more potent with age!" She said, her voice full of awe for the devestating effects of the lotion. She turn to Gwin, Nadia, and Leah. "It wasn't supposed to hurt that bad. I'll get expelled for sure!" Her sentence ended as a wail, none to loud, but genuine. The lotion, bound to Kailyn herself by a complicated spellwork (Cast by whom? ninja ) began to lose it's potancy, until it hurt only as much as a real slap; Kailyn, however was still freaking out.

Sirius looked at it. "My hand's much better. I only got a bit on it," he said, studying his face. "It does look a sight better. Well, Moony? Want to risk it?"
Remus shrugged. "Well, would you like your face back?"
"That cute Ravenclaw keeps looking at me. And it's a talking point, isn't it?" Sirius said, pretending to weigh his options. "But..no...I'm rather fond of my face."
Remus rolled his eyes and readied his wand.

James took one look at Kailyn's emotional state, and made a split-second decision. "Go for it, Moony!" He said, hoping his friend would be alright. Well....You couldn't die from losing your face, could you? Your social life, maybe, but....

Remus pointed his wand and a spark flashed. His face was there, fully attached. Sirius attempted to move it, stretching his face. "It works," he said, grinning at Remus. The burning was very slight. And he had his face back.
