Just to clarify, I didn't mean cow crap was named after the pies in The Dandy, I meant the Cow Pies sold in the Hungry Horse restaurants probably were.

The Skullmaster Just so clarify, I didn't mean cow crap was named after the pies in The Dandu, I meant the Cow Pie sold in the Hungry Horse restaurants probably were. ....Y'know, only just THIS MINUTE have I realised the connection between the cow pies in the Dandy and well... s**t. My childhood memories have just received another blow to their purity.

Ok, I googled it and I've never heard horse manure called that here and I've been riding/working with horses since I was two.

You quite often see riders on the road out in the countryside around here, I've ridden on a road myself, it's alright. Best part about it was is that our group stopped in a Garden Centre car park and we all had ice-creams. So when people were driving past they were all a bit confused at seeing a group of riders on horses in the car park.

People used to ride horses on the roads where I used to live. They're sure bigger than I thought.

Horses are large! And sometimes scary, but I like them alot.
Maybe road apples is a California saying. I heard it there.

Horses aren't all big, the worlds smallest horse is 18.5 inches tall. The tallest horse however was 7ft 2.5 inches.
