Mirai followed behind the others, glancing at Despair as they ended up locating him before looking at Schifo as he talked about their new current objective. She glanced over with Schifo towards where the shots had come from from the sniper but said nothing.
Lily would simply listen to the captain as he would tell them their next mission, she sighed "geez more running for today" she muttered before she would follow everyone, she would try and stick to the back of the group as she had a hunch staying in the back would help her catch something sooner based on intuition, that and since she was seen as lesser to them she prefered being behind everyone.
+ Weapon Creation: she can create weapons she owns(puts them in a sort of collection only to pull them out when needed) in total she only has the blood blade + Elemental force: she can harness 4 elements with the help of her sword Fire,Water, ice, and Air + Nine Tailed form: an extra form that She can tap into, she hasn't perfected it yet so she cant keep it up for long, but her abilities are much stronger making her a force to be reckoned with. she is able to manipulate her tails to the point to being able to grab things and attack with them as well as defend. + Enhanced speed + Anti-Madness manipulation: much like Madness it can take its own form, but because she has this she is immune to madness, she can take damage from attacks from madness but she can't be infected, this element is strong against madness users and Black blood users for some reason, she can also add it to her own weapons or limbs, +(unknown) +(unknown) +(unknown)
"Confident? No, I'd say not the least bit interested in you, at all and things that don't pique my interest are just boring to me." Despair retorted just as the boy would vanish once more. "Hopefully next time, you'll prove more exciting." Despair teased. A few seconds later, Schifo and the others would arrive, with Schifo stating what their next objective was. "AA Sniper, eh?" he muttered before following after the others. While they headed towards their next destination, Despair would end up walking next to Mirai. Looking down at her, Despair smiled, but Mirai, better than anyone else their, would be able to see the difference between Despair's everyday, carefree smile and his devious ones. This one was definitely a devious one, clearly he was plotting something.
As they strode back out into the ruins of the Headquarters Schifo pulled out a compass, glancing down at it for a few moments before snapping it closed and looking to the North. "It shouldn't be too far," was all he said as he began to lead the group towards the AA Sniper. As they walked, more explosions sounded in the distance followed by trails of smoke. "Are those the smaller AA Guns?" Cassie asked as they walked. Schifo looked over at the smoke before looking back at the group. "Yeah, and whoever's doing it should keep up the good work," he replied. It only took about 15 minutes of walking before the group would be able to hear the sound of voices and heavy machinery. "Looks like this is it," Schifo told the group quietly. "Fall in, but stay low." The group moved through a ruined building that clearly used to be some kind of gift shop, with various small charred and burned trinkets littering the ground. A half-charred sign on the wall said something about a "Glass Palace" being one of the five wonders of The Machinist Headquarters. Whatever it had been, there seemed to be no trace of it anywhere and if it was made like it sounded, that was understandably so. As Schifo led them to the far side of the ruined building they would be able to make out what and who were causing the sounds through several broken windows. There were numerous shoddily dressed soldiers surrounding a large weapon crewed by a single pilot that could only be the AA Sniper. The leader of the group was similarly obvious: a woman wearing a biohazard mask and wearing a deep black uniform. The patch on her sleeve read "Captain Electra Volkov, Chemical Warfare Division", most likely her rank and position before the destruction of The Machinist Headquarters.
But two other figures would quickly draw the group's attention: it was Yuji and Lieutenant Marison. Judging by their numerous wounds and many corpses surrounding them (some of them other Officers), it seemed as though the two had put up quite the fight. But it was clear they were both at the end of their rope. Electra was pointing her rifle at the two of them, holding it with only one hand. "A valiant effort, but ultimately pointless," she said, her voice sounding muffled and robotic through the biohazard mask. "You're Officers of The Machinist Army!" Lieutenant Marison responded angrily. "How could you degrade yourself to such a level of filth!?" Electra laughed, a decidedly unnerving sound through the filter of her mask. "What Machinist Military?" She sneered. "You? Take a look around. There is no more "Machinist Military". It's survival of the fittest now, and your old ways of thinking are out of shape." Without warning she pulled the trigger and a loud *crack* rang out as her rifle discharged. The bullet went straight through SF Yuji's heart, causing her to stumble backwards in shock. But even so she remained standing. That is, until the secondary effects of the ammunition Electra had used began to manifest themselves. SF Yuji suddenly began to jerk and spasm violently, her eyes widening in horror and pain. There was a sickening sound before Yuji's own flesh began to rupture, the mechanical augmentations she had implanted sparking and bursting forth from her body, falling to the ground as heaps of scrap. This lasted for several moments before Yuji finally stopped spasming, all her augments having somehow rejected her. Many of her augments had been attached to vital organs in her body and she was covered with gaping wounds. She managed to stand for several more seconds with an expression of shock before she fell to the ground dead. "What the Hell!?" Hissed Schifo in disbelief. Electra then pointed her rifle at Lieutenant Marison. "Goodbye," was all she said as her finger began to squeeze down on the trigger.
Decision: (Despair Only)
It's far to late for anyone to stop Electra's attack. Anyone but Despair that is. And only then with his teleportation abilities. Even though he is believed to be a Royal Guard, teleportation of that nature isn't believed to be possible with current Machinist technology and it would be very suspicious for Despair to use such an ability...
1. Intervene to push or move Lieutenant Marison out of the way of the bullet Adds 3 Suspicion Points
2. Don't do anything Adds 0 Suspicion Points, but Lieutenant Marison will die
Sticking to the back of the group, Despair would do his job as a Royal Guard and protect everyone from the rear. He wasn't particularly worried about being killed or injured, but there were a few things he began to grow interested in, especially that stranger from before. He was someone that could prove fun to play with, later on. As he walked, Despair looked around, before following Schifo towards the other side of the ruined building. It was there, that the group spotted several soldiers, all of which, were guarding some sort of weapon. Reading the patch on her sleeve, Despair smirked, "Captain Electra, huh? She's kind of cute." he muttered. However, Despair would notice something else, more specifically someone else. It was Yuji and Lieutenant Marison. It seemed that they were about to be executed. The first would be Yuji, she suffered a horrible death. Judging from the weapon and how her body reacted, it wasn't hard for Despair to see understand what had happened. Sighing, Despair seemed somewhat remorseful, "Poor girl." he whispered to himself. Though he had never given a single thought about the lives of these machinists, it was still a sorrowful sight, to see one so young die in such a painful way, especially a young woman. Then there would be another shot, this one aiming directly at Lieutenant Marison. Despair, despite feeling sorry for their deaths, did not feel any need to aid Marison, nor did he want to. Saving him would expose himself and right now, he's having too much fun. He would also think back to the times that Mirai and Lily both nearly exposed themselves to save these people. Unlike them, he wasn't as emotional as them, he didn't his feelings, if he had any, get in the way of what he's supposed to do. So, without any doubt or hesitation Despair simply watched as the blast made contact with Marison. As this happened, Despair gave a glance towards Mirai, almost as if he was telling her, that this is what should happen. The mission comes before the lives of enemies, if truly wished to become someone that could bridge the gap between worlds, she too, will have to make hard decisions.

Mirai continued following their group, still glancing around. The place gave her the creeps. Even more so now compared when she was in the headquarters when it was in one piece. It was like something out of a dystopian novel. She looked at some of the disfigured buildings, trying to picture what they may have looked like before this. She then remembered hearing the headquarters crash while her and the rest of her group from the DWMA were on the airship and her stomach turned. Mirai hated thinking about that. Hated thinking about when she listened to thousands of people die. Even if they were her enemies. Even if they did try and kill her. Her gaze just shifted towards the ground then. She saw a group then as their division made it to one of the ruined buildings, using it for cover. She glanced over and saw some familiar Machinists that she had met back at the camp. She frowned slightly then as there was a Machinist officer pointing a weapon at them. Back in the future, she had recalled that the Machinists split into two groups. One of which she thought was Machinists that had lived in the dumps. That didn't seem to be the case entirely. As Electra shot at Yuji, Mirai didn't flinch... until she started spasming and her augments ripped out of her. Mirai quickly looked away. That was too much. She waited until it sounded like Yuji was finally dead before her gaze shifted over to Marison who seemed to be the next target. They could do something. Despair had the most capability to go and stop this and save him from dying. She looked over at him, almost as if she was planning on silently pleading with him to save Marison. He seemed to be looking at her though and his gaze said it all. He wasn't going to do it. Figures. Mirai's expression turned into a glare for a split second or two before she swore under her breath and looked at the ground. She paused for a few moments then looked over at Schifo "Plan, sir?" she asked quietly.
Lily would remain in the back, she remained quiet as everything seemed to be going down hill, Another two down for the count. How many more until the remaining three of the infiltrators will be hit as well, they already lost one of their friends. she simply tried her best to ignore those whom were hit, as she knew if she stopped to feel sad for them she could give them an opening, one she did not plan to do. Before she could keep moving Mirai would ask what the plan was, in her mind the only thought was to get rid of the current threat, and that was the one shooting at them "might i recommend getting cover or taking out the current threat?" she would ask hoping the leader would pick one of the ones instead of standing around letting everyone get hit. [its been a bit since i posted here so, im still a little lost but hopefully i can get back into it]

Electra's bullet pierced straight through Lieutenant Marison the same way it had SF Yuji. Marison stumbled backwards clutching his chest as he began to feel the chemical reaction from the bullet taking place in his body. "No! NO!" He yelled as his augments began to rupture through his body, destroying organs and rending flesh. He jerked and spasmed as his augments fell to the ground around him, clutching his gaping wounds. After several moments he fell to the ground, his torment mercifully coming to an end. Electra lowered her weapon. "And so two more of those naive fools die, but I'm sure the others will come."
Captain Schifo clenched his fists and his teeth angrily. He seemed to like he was ready to explode but when Mirai asked him what the plan was he quickly snapped to. He looked over at her and then around at the others. "We need to take out that AA Sniper. Also, she dies," he told them in a dead-serious tone. He turned to look at Lily. "You're the only one here without augments. That means you're taking the front in this attack. Stay on her like a shadow and keep her from shooting any of us or we're done. Guardsmen, you and me are going after Electra as well. We can't give her room to breathe. April May and Cassie, you two say back and provide us long-range support. Weinbaum and Fields, you two will go after the AA Sniper. Break that thing to pieces."
Now that the others were focused on it, they would be able to see that the AA Sniper had apparently undergone some.....modifications. The Machinist Order symbol was crossed out and another symbol was crudely spray painted over it:
"What....is that?" Cassie asked as the Machinist Officers seemed completely taken aback by the symbol, unsure as to its meaning. "I ain't never seen a symbol like that in the Machinist Order before...." April May said. The AA Sniper had other decorations as well. Red splashes of what didn't seem to be paint streaked the cannon and several bizarre symbols were carved into the metal where the paint was scratched away. Perhaps most disturbing, skulls were hung from different parts of the cannon. They swung idly, making unnerving clacking sounds as they knocked against each other. Captain Schifo sighed and closed his eyes for a moment. "Let's wipe these guys out....for Yuji and Marison."
Despair showed no regret or remorse in his choice to sacrifice Lieutenant Marison. However, since it was his choice to let the boy die, he would stand and watch as the boy died, a painful and horrible death. It was a shame to see someone so young and full of potential die, but what's done is done. Once Marison had stopped moving, Captain Schifo would issue his command. They needed to take down that machine and the sniper. Hearing the plan, Despair readied his sword and nodded. "Yes, let us avenge our fallen comrades, so that their deaths won't be in vain." Hollow and meaningless words. Those were what could be used to describe Despair's statement just now. He honestly felt nothing towards these machinists, despite spending so much time around them and befriending them. Was this what it meant to be a demon? One void of heart and feelings? Or was this just Despair's true nature finally showing itself. Either way, Despair has begun to show Mirai and Lily, just what type of being he truly is.

Mirai focused on Schifo as he spoke before nodding "Yes, sir," she replied as she was told to take down the AA sniper. She turned back to the scene, avoiding gazing at the two bodies that were there as she looked at the giant weapon. She stared at the marking on the sniper in particular. That was different from the usual Machinist symbol. Mirai recalled the future she went to and frowned. They had to try and prevent that one specific group from forming. If she had to pick the Cavaliers were the lesser of two evils. These guys that they were looking at were the main problem. She waited for Lily to make her move first before she began. That gun was still dangerous. If she, Texas, or Despair were hit with it they would most likely get out of it alright... but their cover would be blown and that wasn't good.
Lily looked at what happened to Marison only to sigh as they hide behind cover "Geez...that was more...graphic than i expected" she muttered before she would get Schifo to respond to her, Saying she was the only one without augments "Alright...but why do they have a weapon that does more damage to those with augments...it seems abit to convienient for them to have it..." she sighed before she would walk towards the edge of their cover, peering out abit looking for a means of safe passage "well...here goes nothing" she muttered before she would start moving quickly to the next nearest cover which would protect her from the fire, if she managed to do that without any fail she would proceed to make her way to the target with every so often creating water and ice to create spikes sending them at the target to get her attention on her when the others would move, only to repeat the process until she was close enough.

Texas gave Mirai a sidelong glance as he heard Despair. The demon truly was shameless. Captain Schifo waited as LIly hopped out of cover and began to rush towards Electra. Electra turned quickly as she dodged the first ice spike, noticing the now-approaching Kitsune. "Ah, they said there was a kitsune among them..." she mused as she raised her gun towards Lily. "Using it as a frontal assault? Not bad. The only one immune to my chemical weapon. But that means..." She held her fire as Lily approached, merely focusing on dodging her attacks. Several moments later Captain Schifo jumped over the barrier and ran straight for Electra only to find that Electra was pointing her gun right at him. She fired a shot and Schifo raised his blade, deflecting it at the last second before he slid behind cover again. "I knew it! A kitsune wouldn't be brave enough to run out here on its own. You sent it out here as a diversion." Captain Schifo grimaced as he heard Electra. She'd seen right through him. Still, their plan was far from ruined. Electra surely wasn't counting on a Royal Guard being with them. He waited for Despair to make his move before resuming his assault.
Meanwhile, Texas jumped over the barrier next and ran straight for the AA Sniper. His arm flashed into a flamethrower and he aimed towards the pilot who was merely looking down at her screen seeming completely uninterested in the battle around her. A gout of flame erupted from his flamethrower completely engulfing the pilot and her cockpit. However, instead of being incinerated as one would expect a barrier of light shone brightly around the cockpit protecting both her and it from the fire. Texas ceased his assault when he realized it was having no effect. The pilot didn't even bother looking up from her computer, merely tapping a few buttons on her screen. Two panels on the top of the AA Sniper slid open and two miniguns slowly rose out of them. They quickly turned towards Texas and began spooling up. "Aw crap," Texas muttered before bolting. The miniguns both opened fire on him, tearing up the ground behind him in hot pursuit as he ran to evade their attacks.
Meanwhile, April May and Cassie both stood up and opened fire on the other soldiers gathered around the area, dropping them like flies. Cassie with her twin magnums and April May with rotating ice spikes. The soldiers were practically mobile targets, barely able to aim or get a shot off before they were blasted or skewered by April May or Cassie. The plan was in motion and now was the time to attack.
While Lily played her part nicely, Despair, along with Schifo, would be seen stealthily making their way towards Electra. Captain Schifo would launch his assault first, only to have the woman predict his movement and shoot at him. Thankfully, the Captain would deflect the blast and manage to draw Electra's attention towards him completely. Now was the crucial moment of the plan. Despair had the chance to inflict a major injury to the woman or, in the best case scenario, kill her. Without saying a word, the demon would appear in the air above Electra, his sword already drawn and releasing a powerful slash. One so strong, that it would mold the very wind around them into a blade, which was sent right at Electra. However, as soon as he launched this attack, Despair vanished, hiding his presence among the copious amounts of debris.

Mirai waited until the others attacked Electra before following Texas to the sniper. She let Texas take the lead and analyzed the situation. The AA Sniper seemed pretty calm. Not only that but the rest of their group had left her alone... She saw Texas attack then and noticed the barrier. Of course they had to make taking it out complicated. She quickly slid to a halt and took cover behind some debris as the AA Sniper began firing at Texas. Mirai peaked over to see Texas running "Pretty smooth moves there, Fields," she called out teasingly. She closed her eyes and focused. Rocks, iron beams, and other types of debris floated up in the air then and launched at the AA Sniper from multiple angles. She wanted to test out the barrier herself and also wanted to try and get her attention away from Texas.
Lily would keep what she did up until she noticed despair in the air, attacking with a powerful move. Only to look in the direction he went afterwards. She remained behind cover as she waited to see how that attack would fair and if she had to strike as well. Lily didn't care much for what the woman said about her not being brave as she really didn't want to be there in the first place so bravery wasn't something she cared about.
