Areli glanced from lion to lion, before her eyes landed on little Jax. She nuzzled him softly with her nose, to tell him that she was still there, and everything was fine. She then looked up again, and sighed slightly. She picked Jax up by the Scruff, and looked at Amaree, and nodded her head softly, before walking to the corner of the Den, and lowering Jax down. "I hope Rellick is okay." she said, before licking Jax. She turned, and brushed his head with her tail, then started out of the den. She turned, leaping up ontop of the rocks, until she was perched on the high top. She sat down, and glanced around, looking for the king of those lands.

The moment his paws touched the ground, Jax's eyes opened. He blinked twice, looking woozy from sleeping, and then caught sight of Amaree. It was so late into the night he could barely make out the difference between her and Areli, and he toddled over and flopped down beside the lioness, eyes closing.

Amaree looked down at the little cub and smirked. He must have thought her to be Areli. She sighed and lay down so that the cub would be more comfy. She licked his forehead and purred. He wasn't so bad when he was asleep. A little odd when he was awake, but definitely not as bad when he was asleep. She kept her glowing eyes out on the plains waiting for her king to return.

The inexperienced Dark Prince, however, did not get out of his own confrontation so lightly. A pair of hyena's had surprised him as he followed Rellick's trail. One latched onto his front leg with strong jaws and the other left him with a series of lacerations across his haunches.
Giving a pained roar, the adult had reacted on instinct and sent both mangy currs fleeing.
Growling under his breath, Jayvyn licked his left leg, cleaning the blood from the dark fur. He shouldn't have followed the Crimson King.

Despite her strong feelings against Jayvyn, Brooke found herself prancing anxiously at the distinctive sound of the black lion's tortured roar. Jax had been pushed to the back of her mind, and her main concerns were for Rellick and Jay. She scowled inwardly. 'Oh, why on earth did he go after Rellick? And how did he that hurt by hyenas?' She muttered. 'Did he do nothing as a kid? Even I can fend off hyenas!' She paced about anxiously, peering out into the dark. Despite knowing that cubs were sleeping, she stood at the mouth of the den and let out a harsh roar, it never having been refined from her days of having to defend herself, straining to catch a sign of response. Where were they?

Areli looked forward, her keen eyes scanning the area around the den for the two males. She also let out a loud roar, in hopes of getting another in return. "I'm going to go find them." she said down to Brooke. She leaped down the rocks, and looked at Brooke and Amaree. "Watch the cubs, I'll be right back, and hopefully with the males." she said, before bounding down, off the rocks, and into the grass. Her shoulder still hurt slightly, but she ignored the pain. There was more important things going on than her little shoulder problem. She roared once again, saying that she was coming to help. It wasn't long before a dark shadow started to appear in the distance...

Brooke frowned at Areli's retreating back. 'She shouldn't be going out there, she just got kicked...' She shook her head slightly. 'If there weren't so many cubs, I'd go after her.'

Hm... Can she be a scout? If that's only for males, then she can be a hunt sister 3nodding
Oh, yea, question I been meaning to ask, just out of somewhat confused curiousity. Now that Rell is, what, bi (right?), and you're pimpin him out, he isn't gonna have a queen, right? o.o))

((He's still going to get a Queen.. Because I need someone to be here in case I have to go Hiatus or whatever... And Jay is going to be a scout, so he's not really a ruler... Scouts really is for the boys.. So she can be HuntSister.))
Rellick snarled and ran in the direction he thought Jay was, comming across the wounded lion some time later. He glared at the black male, angry that he was hurt.
"Do my orders and requests mean nothing?" He asked both hurt and angry. "I wanted you to protect the Pride... Why are you out here?"
He was scared, and walked around the black lion, surverying the wounds. It was unavoidable.. He would have to call Dashira again, there was no way he could leave Jay like this to heal on his own.
The sound of Areli's roar caught his attention, and he answered her that all was well and they would be returning momentarily.

The Dark Prince stopped cleaning his leg when the other appeared. Well now... Dusk gray eyes blinked at the adult. If that wasn't a perfect specimen for the lion species he didn't know what was. Sighing softly at his own thoughts, he gave his leg one last lick. "You ask me to go with them, they ask me to go with you."
"There are three of them and one of you, I decided to take my chance with you." Jayvyn watched Rellick circle him. Very nice, very nice.

Brooke pranced about, discomfort and anxiety gnawing at her. It was in her blood to be a fierce fighter, and it was in her nature to be sometimes overworried for the few lions trustworthy enough to be deemed her friends. She gazed out into the night. The dark had all but swallowed Areli's running figure, and she could make out the dark shape that was the lioness. She let out a small growl, and turned to Amaree. 'I have to go after her, Rhee. She's injured. I can't let her run out there. What if she doesn't find Rell?' She paused, and then turned to the cubs Aygra and Dolsia. 'You guys are big cubs now. I want you two to help Amaree watch Jax and Revyn. Make sure they don't wander out, ok?' With that, she turned and bounded from the den, eager to catch up to Areli. Her shoulder injury was not overly serious, but the lioness should not be running the night after she had been kicked.

Rell growled. "And if we had both been killed?"
He shook his head and paced angrily back and forth. "What then?"
The sound of Areli's approach made his head turn, and he could smell Brooke on the night breeze.
"Does no one listen to me?" He growled, trying to ignore the way Jay was watching him. "I wanted you to protect the girls, and now they are worried about you!"
He shook his head and roared loudly, indicating they were fine. "Come.. Let's get back to the Densite, can you walk?"
((Poor Rell.. Boyfriend is hurt.. Hyenas are running around, and his girls are out where they can be attacked.. I think he's gonna have a heartattack.))

Amaree, knowing that someone needed to stay at the den during all this mess nodded silently to the two lionesses and sat with Jax still leaning against her. She hoped that Jayvn was okay, as she was the one who had requested that he go after Rellick. What hadn't she had more faith in Rellick? She shook her head in agitation at herself and sighed, heaving the cub up and then down as her ribs expanded. She looked to the horizon anxiously and awaited the King, his friendmate, and the two females. She sighed. "Stuck inside, when I should be out there, but my allegiance is to my Pride and my king..." She kept an eager eye out and tried to keep calm.

Areli let out a sigh of reliefe as Rellick came to them, but growled as she smelt Brooke coming. She let out a roar, telling Brooke to go back. She then turned to Rellick and Jay. "I got worried, we all did, when we heard you guys." she said, turning her gaze to Jay, then back to Rellick. She stepped twords the king, and nudged him softly under his neck, before retreating back and looking at him. "Are you alright?" she asked. She looked at Jay, nodding, as if asking the same question.
