Gerard returned Frank's look with a sort of half-shrug and smile, then sat down.
"How're you guys? Look a little tired Frank," Gerard tried to start up a conversation. He could already tell Nic wasn't enjoying this very much, but she was taking it pretty well, they could stay for a while.
He was amused when one of the girls from yesterday, Jay practically shouted, "YOU TWO ARE BROTHERS!!!", so he smiled and nodded.
He put his arm around Mikey and poked his nose, "Can'tcha see the resemblance?"

Autumn smiled, “It's all right. Sorry about being really creepy yesterday... I'm just creepy...?”
She laughed at her own stupidity and took a swig of coffee. Then she turned her head and listened to Ray, Frank, and Gerard talk while Nic just... watched.

Nic laughed lightly, smiling at Jay’s comment and Mikey and Gerard’s response. She was trying hard to not be that awkward person, but she didn’t know exactly what to say. She wasn’t very good at situations like these, situations involving people and conversations. She couldn’t help but wonder why exactly she was here. Then she looked to her side and saw Gerard and was reminded.
Frank laughed at Jay’s comment. This girl was priceless, first spilling coffee, now yelling out obvious comments. Maybe this wasn’t so bad. “So, Gerard… How’d you meet Nic?”

"Well... I met all these ladies yesterday. At Hot Topic, sorry if I offended you guys or anything, just the leftovers of some brotherly love," he punched Mikey lightly in the arm.
He finished his coffee and whispered in Nic's ear, "Doesn't matter what you say, they're cool guys. They won't care."

Ray watched Autumn closely. She and Nic were doing the same sort of thing, pretending to be happy, but feeling really weirded out. Nic had Gerard there to comfort her, but Autumn was just there... And Jay didn't seem to like it too much.
"So, you play guitar, right Autumn?" he asked, trying to break some tension.

Nic smiled a thanks in Gerard's direction and decided to take a chance. She spoke her first sentence of the entire time she had been there. "Yeah, I should probably apologize too. I'm sorry I was such a b***h to you Jay and Autumn. Hot Topic's not the best for my attitude apparently... Um, I'm gonna go get some cake, you guy's want anything?"
Frank's eyes lit up considerably at the mention of the word cake. "Yes! Get me some. Whatever you get, get me a big slice, kay?" He reached in his pocket and handed her some money.

"Yeah... I've been playing for like three four years now, I don't think I'm that great," she laughed and was happy that someone was treating her like she wasn't a creep.
"I could use some cake thanks," she laughed again at Frank's urge for food.
((Er-- Two things, GodBlessEmoHair, you play Frank really well.
And two, er-- I know absolutely nothing about guitars. xD))

"Cake. Yum. I could use some of that," Gerard pulled out his wallet and handed her some money, "Just wake up and haven't eaten yet Frank?"
This was going pretty well, he thought. Nic was smart to think of food too, food is yummy, brings people together.

Anywho, I have to go now. Take a nap. I'm sick. >.<))

(( I don't know much either, however I have an acoustic collecting dust in my room lol))
Nic returned with cake for Gerard, Frank, and Autumn, as well as a slice for Mikey and Jay. She considered that her olive branch. She figured everyone loved cake, you couldn't be awkward about cake, and cake was yummy, so it was perfect. She handed everyone their change back and dug in, laughing as Frank enthusiastically stuffed his face. She liked Frank, he was funny, and Ray seemed cool too. However, Mikey had said nary a word to her. But it didn't matter. It was the most at ease she had felt in a crowd of people in a long time. She smiled at Gerard and whispered in his ear, "I'm glad we did this, it's kind of fun." She then gave him what she hoped was an inconspicous kiss on the cheek and returned to her cake.

Frank was elated when he recieved his cake. Gerard had guessed right, he had gotten up and not eaten. Cake was the perfect breakfast food. After speeding in a couple of bites, he turned to Autumn. "You should play for us sometimes, and we can be be the judges. Me and Ray play too you know." He then returned to his cake, glancing up just in time to see the kiss that passed between Nic and Gerard. He smiled, the crumbles of chocolate sticking to his teeth. "Ooo. Looky here Mikey and Ray. We've got us a new couple." Frank joked, laughing a bit. (( Hope you don't mind. I kind of assumed Ray played))

Ray smiled, Autumn smiled, Gerard blushed slightly.
"Thanks Frank," he smiled, turned to Nic, and pecked her on the lips, "There."
Everyone laughed and then returned to their previous conversations. Gerard watched Nic to see her response...

"Eek, I don't know. I don't play for people really, but I guess I have to sometime if I'm gonna be famous," she said with an over-dramatic sigh and then grinned. Everyone seemed really nice, Frank was funny, Nic was polite and smart and seemed to be having more fun now, as was she, Ray was helping her out in the talking department, and Gerard and Mikey seemed pretty easy-going and fun. The only person she wasn't sure about was Jay....
