Yamino Tenshi I just find it really odd that everyone's parent(s)/guardian(s) are "businesslike" or "battleship-like" cold assholes. XD;; Well, except Sofie's parents, but they're rich bastards and have their own issues. Is this what we think adults are like!? sweatdrop I don't think it's 'adults', per se, but rather, parents. But it doesn't matter to me. Adelaide's parents are normal! blaugh

Well, Gregor's parents, actual parents consist of artist father, who is crazy-laidback and kind of fly by the seat of his pants. Of course, he's insanely irresponsible, and fortunately has Gregor's mother to keep him in line most of the time. She runs the galleries and basically keeps him up to schedule, but she's pretty absentminded and neglectful of her personal and family life.
Camilla's parents are nice, hard-working middle-class types pouring all their money into a school fund so their daughter can get educated in Ohtori, and they're pretty much average.
Issac's parents....
AHAHAHAHAHA.

Just some background info on the mode of communicaton Sofie and her deaf cousin are using... It's used primarily by people who are deaf and blind, but since Sofie cannot read regular sign language and Emily cannot hear, they have to use AITSL. To make the RP flow more easily, I'm posting their conversation as if it were spoken, rather than using the simple words they would actually use. Quote: Adapted Interactive Tactual Sign Language (AITSL) (formerly called Manipulated or Modelled Sign Language) - The deaf-blind person receives communication with his hands resting on the speaker's hand while the message is signed. The speaker next manipulates the deaf-blind person's hands, followed by a partial communication accompanied with prompts or cues to allow the deaf-blind person to respond independently. Questions or choices may be presented by the speaker using the same method to ensure that the deaf-blind person understands the message. This communication system is used primarily with congenitally deaf-blind persons.

I was trying to emulate the calm coolness of Tino's mom from "Disney's The Weekenders" (great show, by the way), but she just totally evolved into this...this...totally awesome thing that would not be silenced!! domokun heart
Although, she practically wrote herself, I'd be lying if I didn't think of Pyro-chan. xd If only marginally. XD
