My government exams were complete as of yesterday, so next week begins my last semister.
I only have to take one class next semister to fulfill my grad credit requirments. So I'm juggling around as to what class I should take. So far I've got Video Production and History 12.

I just know they put Ben down today. They couldn't possibly have fixed him, he was in so much pain. Broke his hip on the ice yesterday. How do you fix that, huh? It almost sort of reminds me of when my parents murdered had my dog Bob put down last year. It sucks, when that happens. And you think, why even get close to things if they're just going to die on you?

That's why I dont like having fish. Or birds. Though I did have one bird, who lived quite long. He nearly froze when we lost the power one Christmas day, but I kept 'em warm enough to survive.
When my dog was put down? That was sad. She had a tumor in her stomach. I think the sudden death is easier to deal with. It was hard holding her the night before, knowing by tommorow she'd be dead. sad

Yeah, I went with my parents to have my dog put down. They decided to go to the SPCA to have it done, for a completely inhuman reason. It was going to cost $100 (I think) to have it done at the vet's, and it was free there. But I mean, we'd had him for thirteen years. He was worth the $100.
But anyways, it was bad because we took him in on a Saturday afternoon and they were only going to have him put down the Sunday, at 6 AM. We had to take him down to a room with a bunch of cages and dogs that were barking... it was "The Room"... where all the dogs go to wait for being put down. And they were so loud... there wasn't a dog there not barking. And Bob was a really quiet dog and he had his tail between his legs, ears down, and he was whining. He never whined. It sounds really stupid but it's almost like they knew what was going to happen, if they entered that room. Al their behaviours changed - they became almost frantic.
It's like with Ben yesterday. He was thrashing in his stall and all the other horses were whinnying. That was really loud too... but they knew there was something really wrong. Especially when he managed to crawl out of his stall and head outside.

Oh, that's so sad! When I was six, my cat had to be put down because he had kidney stones. I cried a lot. I don't know what I'd do if my baby kitty had to be put down cry

The only pets I've ever had were a hamster and a couple of fish, so I can't really relate.
Nevertheless, to quote Red Green, "Remember, I'm pullin' for ya. We're all in this together."

My first dog died about 7 years ago. She had been tied outside while we were out of town shopping. I guess she had broken the chain and ran off for a bit of an adventure. She was actually on her way back home, they say, when she got hit by a large truck while crossing the road near our house.
That, strangely, had me even more upset than the time my grandfather died.

Ihabia That, strangely, had me even more upset than the time my grandfather died. Ditto. but then again, I never really knew the guy. I treated my dog like crap. That was when I took everything in life for granted, man I was such a selfish kid. I know everyone says this, but I had the best dog in the world. heart

My dog wasn't the best in the world...now that I think about it, it wasn't that great of a dog at all. Oh well.
I was pretty close to my grandfather though, when he died. So, I don't know why I didn't cry or anything...

Bob was perfect, and I loved him.
I didn't know my grandfather(s) much at all.
