Lintanas head started buzzing as the thoughts of many dragons at once were speaking to her. She swallowed hard and tried to pick out just one and concentrated. Tell all weyrleaders and weyrwomen are to report to the east island weyrleaders meeting place. Do not let anyone enter or leave any weyr. At first Lintana was worried at how to make sure each leader got the message then realized the message wasn't for her. One of the weyrleaders dragons was telling all the other weyrleaders dragons. The message was directed to J'rel not her and Saterth.

J'rel felt Tarkerth pressing firmly on his mind. "Yes?" He said out loud. We must go, it's urgent. Set the weyr on lockdown, and make sure that no one enters or leaves this place. But we must hurry. J'rel thought for a moment after being filled in by his dragon. He told Tarkerth to pass on a message to Umbrielth and Vrätoth. "Tell them to both meet me in Z'Arian's room and to hurry. I want them to drop everything and head there now. They must know what's going on, and I need to leave someone here to hold down the fort and know exactly what is going on." He stood, looked at Lintana, smiled, and left with a wave and a silent promise to return as fast as he could. He took off at a brisk pace to the young rider's weyr.

Lintana watched J'rel leave and leaned down on Saterth. She tried again to breathe slowlying and deeply but still with no success. She closed her eyes and waited for J'rel to return and for the rest of the weyrs dragons to stop comunicating and messing up her own thoughts.
