[Foxi Doll]

Lowering her eyes, Senaka stared at the crumbs on her plate. Her brow furrowed in concentration as she thought about what lay ahead.

"If I may, would it be much to offer a suggestion?" she asked hesitantly.

Ace finishes his drink and looks over "Sure whats that?" Ace says smiling

Leveling her gaze, Senaka answered while staring directly at Ace.

"Do not let human hands touch it. Or demon, for that matter. I fear the worst if it gets into corrupted hands."

Ace sighs and scratches his head "To be honest that is not my call. I am the general of the army and that gives me power over all military matters but anything scientific goes to the head of science just like I can't be the leader of the city or the person in charge of health. In this city unlike all others it is a Democratic one making no one person able to due to much...Sorry." Ace says looking down

Senaka shook her head, a frown creasing her brow.

"No, you do not understand. Government or not, but especially since there is one in place. If we go to retrieve this thing, it will not be coming back here."

She looked around her, trying to will him to understand, but not sure how to put it to words. In the end she let her eyes rest on her empty glass of coffee.

"Well if I don't tell my men what to look for then they can't find it can they?" Ace says winking at her

Senaka let the barest of smiles grace her lips.

"No, I don't suppose they could." She silently thanked him.

"So now that we are done where to next?" Ace says putting the money on the table standing up

Coughing in preparation to quote, Senaka smiled, though they smile didn't reach her eyes.

"We are going to go disperse the sand storm with the, hydro- something or other your guys developed." She knew she had completely blown the direct quoting apart, but science stuff just wasn't her area. "Then we go and stop the beasts that are hiding behind it."

Ace nods yawning "Well you have to wait about a day but the search team should be back soon and we can probably leave early tomorrow."

"Right. Well then what else is there to see here? Other than spectacular views of sand dunes, of course," she finished with a laugh.

"mmm not sure what you would like." Ace says laughing aswell

"I like anything that has to deal with culture," she answered softly. Not many people knew that, even among her Noble kin. She enjoyed the customs, festivals, traditions, clothes, stories. All things that humans passed from generation to generation.

"Well I do still have christmas stories that I remember before I came to this time...I am the last one who even remembers what chrismas is probably." Ace says looking back down

"You're not the only one who remembers the old stories. But I know also that there are many new ones that have spread. New traditions and songs. As each new age begins, cultures renew or reinvent themselves," she assured him with a smile.

"It is like the ocean, moving in tides and waves. Never is it still for long, and never is it always bearing a storm."
