"That's what I get for trying to protect you and your sister..." he said with a small laugh as he slowly, painfully got up. "I almost get my guts burned out and get denied by my own girlfriend. "Don't worry. I always get mopey like this. It's just a part of who I am. Pessimistic." she sighed. She carefully watched where she stepped as she settled down on a rock by the stream. The sound of the running stream was calming. "It's not like Shira and Dara will let me be a cat lady anyways. Those two...I swear." she said with a happy sigh as she shook her head.  DARA STAR ✖ ✖ ✖ ✖ ✖ ✖ ✖ ✖ ✖ ✖ ✖ ✖ "If you can't be number one by yourself," Dara walked after Eric and slipped her arm around his waist. Once they got to the tent she told him to wait a moment while she fixed the inside. Dara quickly put down two thick blankets down and then the sleeping bags, making sure to make it more comfortable on his side. She went back out and helped him into the tent, then helped him get situated on his sleeping bag. After she was sure he was comfortable she layed down next to him without touching him in fear that she would hurt him.

He who dares__________________________Eric reached out and pulled Dara close to him, just glad to be alive at the moment. "I was just teasing," he said with a sigh. He looked up at the roof of the tent, thinking about James Jetter and whatever dog Scarlet had been talking about. Scarlet would be surprised to see Shira alive. He hoped he was there to see her expression when she did. But now he had two other problems to worry about. Dara was safe for now and he was still there to protect her. "Those guys are going to be a problem in the future," he said to Dara, referring to those two he had mentioned while he was dying of the poison. WINS
