Luke Tensai Canonically I was wrong in my use of IMS against both Vlad Vane and Joker had I used it on Joker at even a minor level it would've been to finish him, and at that I shouldn't have been able to use it again at risk of either removing my myself or fusing myself with the speed force or worse. So let's throw that he can use it anytime notion out the window. And to use it on the White Dwarf Star Level The Flash need be moving at light speed, no Flash can do that without straining themselves, so the punches should only effect the person being hit unless moving at said speed or faster.
Now yes, he has speed greater than Superman but according to the Database so does Black Adam, Captain Marvel, or any other divine powered being, or speed force enabled person. The ability to phase is also used by all the Martians, is that too say they too cannot be Rped, yes the Flash has a lot of abilities that in a sense can be used for a bunch of ridiculous things that end in insta-kills and yes I did it twice out of a misunderstanding of techs but for the most part, all I've had him doing is running and punching people, or creating twisters to aid in the removal of gas, but nothing absolutely ridiculous to the point where the whole character being role played need be nixed.YummyBiscuits As I'm watching Flash in action, I'm increasingly coming to believe that he as a comic book character is not conducive to role playing. He may not be able to do it every single post, but as you've stated, that is a technique which can kill any character in the guild caught up in the blast. For instance, Flash used this technique against the Joker initially. That would have killed a considerable number of people. Afterwards, he used it once more against my character Vlad Vane, who at the moment was in close proximity to Starfire, Yaroki's character. Both would have died. While it may have been a full page or so since he had used it, in Roleplay time it would have been maybe all of half a minute between the two incidents. Major or minor, this ability adds too much to Flash's total power scheme. He has speed that can outdo Superman, he can phase through non-sentient objects and make them explode ( at least in cannon, I have no clue as to whether this happens in Roleplay. ) and he has access to the speed force allowing him to have strength greater than any others at times. I conclude by saying I believe it to be far to powerful for any theoretical use in Roleplay. You seem to have misunderstood me somewhere along the line. Firstly, I expect some sort of bias to come from your perspective. You play the flash in this Roleplay, and showing him as no longer allowable will be detrimental to your ability to Roleplay. It'd also piss you off. Nevertheless, my statement was based on something incredibly important to the aspect of character powers. TheFlash has not only this incredible speed, for instance being able to go light speed when pushing himself, but in these cases being able to come up with the strength to outweigh superman. It's the combination of the abilities that lead me to this belief, not the mere fact they are present. Now, the examples you gave me all have different powers. Let's use superman's strength as a baseline for the example I'm about to produce. He has the incredible strength, durability, flight, eye lasers, and ice breath. People like Black Adam are obviously overpowered, with suck powers as invulnerability and immortality. Other characters with super strength of that caliber have other powers. The Martians are likewise overpowered as Roleplay characters, at least in my opinion. But do you see any of them with the ability to go light speed? I don't. And once again, I'll say I believe this character to be overpowered. I don't see a way to fairly couple some comic book characters with Roleplay, and that bothers me a lot.

I just want say that superman can destroy entire cities with his heat vision from orbit and fly st the speed of light or close to it anyway, zatanna can think explode backwards and install kill people green lantern can make constructs that can instantly surround people in death traps darkseid has the anti life equation literally there are dozens of characters with ways to install kill others depending on the fight However that's where the rules of fair play come in that nerf powers to reasonable limits when used in combat like they just were there is no need to forbid characters when the people playing them are willing to listen to reason and play fairly

Well, well, well. What do we have here? A healthy debate on whether or not the Flash should be used in roleplay, huh? Interesting. If I may, I'd like to share my thoughts and some ways in which we have tried to make up for the Speed Force Conduits power levels because at the beginning of the Roleplay me and Grogan did have some quite lengthy discussions about whether or not the Flash as a Legacy should be allowed on the roster. We finally decided yes for the following reasons:
1. Even though the Flash can move at ridiculous speeds, it comes at a price. He isn't that strong even when using the Infinite Mass Punch, of which there is no small level variant only the Dwarf Star Power Level, because there are some people who are too strong and when get hit by it are blown away but it doesn't really do anything. Examples of this are apparent in Superman, Martians, Daxamites, Entity Possessed Lanterns and even some minor characters such as Shazam and Black Adam. But that's not even the real problem.
The real danger appears in the form of Black Flash. Time and time again, Speedsters have sacrificed themselves by pushing just that little too far and the Speed of Light is the liminal. Any more, they'd die and be reabsorbed into the Speed Force like Barry Allan in Crisis of Infinite Earths and Wally West's in Zero Hour. And this fear of Death related to his power set doesn't only stem from there; vibrating his/her molecules to phase puts any speedster in danger. If energy passes through them in this state, the bonds of their molecules would break thanks to them already being weakened via the vibrational force and cause the speedster to dissipate into nothing. They'd die.
2. Apart from their kit being a double-edged sword of sorts, Speedsters are also limited to only Legacies and Cannonical Villains.
3. Due to the Dimensional Rules of Void Earth, no one can travel up and down the timeline, nor travel to different dimensions. So the Time travel aspect of the Flash's powerset that is only doable thanks to the cosmic treadmill or having already been swallowed up by the Speed Force has been removed.
I understand your concerns but, having debated this topic with quite some passion and length; it was decided that there were a lot more OP characters than the Flash and with the Flash being such a pivitol member of the Justice League, we could not remove him from the Roster, instead we had to trust who ever applied to be somewhat sensible as we have had to do every single Legacy. It's about being fair and we, as a Moderator team, have tried our best to be fair. Y'know?
