Electra's eyes widened as she felt Despair's attack coming towards her from above. She stepped backwards at the last second but not fast enough to avoid taking some of the blow. The attack cut straight down her torso, slicing open a deep wound that began to bleed profusely. "Agh! What was-!?" Captain Schifo took the opportunity to step forward and slash at Electra himself. She managed to raise her rifle to block the attack, but the blade cut her weapon clean in two only buying enough time for her to step away from the blade herself. Captain Schifo then lashed out again, kicking Electra backwards and straight towards Lily. "Lily! Now!" He yelled.
Meanwhile, Texas continued to dodge the miniguns as they tracked him. "Yeah thanks Mary!" Texas called back sarcastically as he continued to duck and weave. Once again the pilot didn't even glance up as Mirai began to slam various wreckage against the barrier. The barrier flashed with each hit but it showed no signs of weakening or coming down. But seriously though, Texas began, speaking to Mirai telepathically. It doesn't look like anything is getting through that barrier. Texas used his flamethrower to take multiple blasts at different parts of the AA Sniper, causing some parts to glow white-hot but otherwise not causing any damage. It'll take all day to burn through something like this he told her. He glanced around at the other enemy soldiers, but quickly realized they needn't be concerned: April May and Cassie were ripping them to shreds with Magnum blasts and ice spikes. Once again The Machinist officers were putting on a display of how deadly The Machinist Military was designed to be: victory through augments, professionalism and well-trained cooperation. April and Cassie moved like a well-oiled machine, focusing their attacks specifically on any opponents who tried to take aim at or attack any of the others.
Okay, I got a plan, Texas told Mirai It doesn't look like we'll be able to get through that cockpit barrier anytime soon. So the only way to get through it quickly is to use your teleportation though we've got to keep you hidden while you use it. I'll use my flamethrower in a wide, continuous splash attack to cover most of the AA Sniper in flames. While it's obscured, teleport in and kill the pilot. Also, while I was running by the cockpit I noticed some pretty thick wires running from inside the Sniper right up into her console. I bet those have to do with powering the barrier around her. If you cut those while you're inside, we can say that I collapsed the barrier with enough firepower and that's how you got her. We won't have to worry about explaining away the teleportation. Meanwhile, the pilot tapped a few more buttons on her console and one of the miniguns swiveled towards Mirai's position, opening fire and starting to disintegrate the cover around her.

As he watched on, Despair seemed somewhat bored, despite the intense action that was going on, he wasn't all that interested. Despite his attack providing the distraction they needed. Even as Schifo went on to lash out at the woman, Despair merely watched with an non enthused, glare. "This is getting more and more boring. he thought to himself, though he had forgotten that Mirai established telekinetic link among him, Lily, herself and Texas. So his thoughts would be flowing into their minds. "Maybe I should just kill these kids now and see if the Prince will provide me with more entertainment. Ah, but Mirai and the others will get in my way. So the real question is what to do with them..." he continued to think before focusing back on the action.

"No kidding..." Mirai replied to Texas as it seemed her attacks and his continued to not even faze the barrier. She blinked then as Texas seemed to have an idea. She peered over to glance at the barrier for a few moments as she thought over the plan before quickly moving in order to avoid being hit by the Sniper as she shot at her. She took the direction that would separate her between the sniper and her group, that way they wouldn't actually see her activate her ability. "Alright. Tell me when." she told Texas. At the same time, Mirai had heard what Despair was thinking thanks to the separate telepathic link she had set up for the group. She didn't say anything though since if he was stupid enough to think those things and forget about the link she had, she didn't want him to realize it.

Lily would keep watching as to see the other two fight the woman, only to have Schifo call out telling her to attack. When Electra as sent to her, Lily had her sword ready as she would thrust it forward, she tried to aim abit away from her heart so she wouldn't die, but that was what she anted, rather than kill her she would aim to freeze her quickly with her ice element, if she managed to stab her she would begin to freeze quickly eventually being unable to move, and more she struggled the harder it would become to move. even if they questioned why she did't straight up kill her via beheading or heart stab, she would tell them its better that way, being that if for some reason she was needed like for information she would still be stuck frozen until lily defrosted her and besides she would eventually die from the cold anyways. Though of course there wasn't any assurance that she wouldn't survive the stab in the first place. The next thing she would hear though was Despairs little chat about betrayal she couldnt help but speak up "Try anything...and You will die...and thats not a threat...thats a promise" she muttered

"Ugh!" Electra grimaced as she felt herself impaled on Lily's sword. She felt the wound began to freeze but she was far from dead. Her augments resisted Lily's freezing ability long enough for her to react. She took one step forward and pulled herself free of the blade, drawing her own wicked looking saber and slashing in a full circle towards both Lily and Captain Schifo. Captain Schifo's eyes widened as Electra slashed at him. He had been expecting Lily to land the killing blow instead of just a serious injury. As a result he was not fully prepared for Electra's counterattack. He tried to step backwards but her sword slashed open a deep wound on his upper arm. He looked down at it, eyes widening in horror as he saw a thick, silvery liquid seeping into the wound. It had to be the same chemical that Electra had laced her bullets with. "Oh Hell!" he yelled as he gripped his blade. Without thinking he raised his blade high above him and slammed it straight through the wound until it came out the other side of his arm. Then he twisted the blade at an angle, causing the wound to open up further. He grit his teeth as a torrent of blood poured out of his open wound along with streams of the thick, goopy silvery chemical. "Comeoncomeoncomeon," he muttered desperately as he watched the blood. He could feel his augments sparking under his skin and beginning to push against him as they started to reject his body. For several moments he could feel a searing pain throughout his arm as the augments turned against him. Then the flow of the chemical from his wound slowly stopped. He could feel the augments in his body slowly resettle and start to repair themselves. He let out a hiss of pent-up breath before he reached into one of his side pouches and pulled out a long bandage, quickly wrapping the wound on his arm tightly after pulling out his blade.
Meanwhile, Electra stepped forward to deliver a second blow to Captain Schifo before being pounded by both April and Cassie, stumbling backwards as the unexpected assault filled her with spikes and holes. She stumbled around for a few more moments before falling to the ground, letting out her final breath. Captain Schifo's gaze turned to Lily and he walked over to her clearly furious. "Listen you stupid, barf-eating dog!" He yelled in her face. "If we're under attack by an enemy force you fight to KILL them, understand!? This isn't a sparring match you stupid Kitsune! We're not here to give each other love taps! I almost got my entire body ripped apart because you can't even land a final blow!" Captain Schifo's near-death experience had clearly rattled him.
The one good thing about Schifo's reaming of Lily was that the others were fully concentrated on that, giving Texas and Mirai time to go through with their plan. Texas continued to dodge the bullets before releasing a long, continuous blast of flame covering the AA Sniper in a fiery inferno. Now! he thought to Mirai. He had heard Despair's thoughts, but now wasn't the time. They couldn't afford to blow their cover in a fight with Despair now.

Mirai waited for Texas, constantly making sure to avoid the Sniper's attacks as well as making sure no one was noticing her. When she heard Texas, she ran forward and jumped, disappearing and reappearing right behind the Sniper within the barrier. She used her soul mold ability and a sword made out of her wavelength appeared. She swung the sword and deeply sliced the back of her neck, aiming to make it a quick end. Mirai didn't hesitate. Not after seeing what this group had done to their own without even batting an eye. After slicing the AA Sniper's neck, she quickly looked for the wires Texas had been talking about. She swung her sword again, slicing away the wires with ease before teleporting back to the spot she was at before. She skidded to a halt, sword disappearing in her hand.
Lily just stared back at him, clearly not fazed by his yelling, rather it ticked her off more, this mission was starting to get part the point on her nerves to almost lash back out despite that could ruin the whole mission. The whole pretending to be a slave to humans, despite being part human herself. As he kept yelling she remained silent but her mind was full of anger which everyone would be able to hear from her connection to them "LOVE TAP!!! compared to yours you lil crap of a leader all you did was kick her instead of going for a killing blow after she blocked"she began to rant in her mind, on contradictary of her facial expression. "IM NOT A F****** DOG...IM A F******KITSUNE AND A HUMAN" she kept going on "If your so god damn weak to the point that you have to rely on stupid augments that you need to them to live and fight, you dont have a damn right to complain about any assistance from me" she finished in her mind "Mirai...i swear to god...you better have a good reason why i'm still playing as a damn slave to this group...or i promise i am going to kick this guys a** right now" Despite being through the connection one could easily tell she was not joking on thi matter as she was reaching the point of rage from this group commanding her as well as the titles given.

While he was still deep in thought, Despair would smile as he would hear Lily's voice within his mind, promising him that he would die. "Oh? Is this connection still on?" he asked, though instead of being concerned, Despair seemed almost smug about it. "Well, looks like I need to be on my best behavior." he remarked. However, his attention went straight back towards Schifo as he seemed to have been in a big pinch. Nearly suffering from the same fate as Marison and the others. Though, it appears that Schifo was smarter than Despair gave him credit for. Instead of panicking and not knowing what to do, he remained calm and drained the strange liquid from his body, but he also worsened his wound. However, a wide smile would appear on the demon's face as Captain Schifo laid into her. Clearly his little brush with death, caused him to snap a bit and Lily, through their telepathic link, was reaching her limits. "Captain, maybe now isn't the time to reprimand the kitsune. We may have eliminated the woman, but we still have our primary mission. Let's get going or risk even more death." Despair stated.
Captain Schifo was glaring angrily at Lily when he heard Despair. He let out a long sigh and ran his hand through his hair, completely unaware of Lily's tirade to the others. April May walked up to Captain Schifo and nodded. "He's right," she told him. "Lily tried her best, that's all we can do." Captain Schifo looked back at Despair and April. "Yeah, right. Okay," he replied tiredly.
Meanwhile, the pilot of the AA Sniper didn't even have time to realize what happened before she was dead, slumping down into her seat before leaning forward, her face resting against the monitor screen. Texas grinned as he watched their plan's success. His smile quickly turned into a look of confusion and concern as he heard Lily telepathically. He looked over in their direction and witnessed Captain Schifo getting in Lily's face. Hey, Lily just try to relax okay? We're here to change The Machinist Order for the better. If we give up now, this is the way things will be for years to come. Who knows how many generations of Machinists and Kitsunes will have to go through this? We can change this!. Don't let it get to you!
While the others were talking to each other, Cassie walked up to the AA Sniper and lifted the dead pilot's head slightly before pressing a few buttons. A hatch on the back of the sniper popped open and Cassie let the dead pilot's head thunk unceremoniously back on the computer before walking around to the hatch and reaching into the opening. She started pulling out wires and tossing them to the side until the lights on the AA Sniper suddenly dimmed before going out completely. She looked back at the others. "Okay boys, Sniper down. Now what?" Captain Schifo looked in the direction their craft had landed. "We find the others. We don't leave anyone behind. We're going to-" Suddenly a stiff, cold wind blew through the ruins, fluttering the clothing and hair of the Machinist and DWMA Teams. Strangely....the coldness of the breeze didn't seem to come from the temperature at all. But along with the breeze came a....more sinister sign that something wasn't quite right. A slight rattle...a whisper that almost seemed to be imagined. Weeehrmaaaaacht.... The Machinists looked around nervously. "Tell me you guys didn't just hear that..." Captain Schifo muttered as he gripped his blade tightly in one hand, drawing his sidearm with the other. Just as suddenly, the DWMA Team's soul wavelengths would be cut off completely. Where they would once be able to control and sense their wavelengths, nothing would remain but a cold empty void. Like a black hole that sucked away at their very souls. All their wavelength abilities would suddenly fail. Mirai's telepathic connection was cut off without warning and Texas's hand flashed back into a human one against his will. Despair would no longer be able to keep himself in the sky and the ice element on Lily's sword vanished completely. This lasted for several seconds until the strange wind passed. Just as quickly as it had come, the void lifted and the DWMA Team's powers were returned. "What...was that...?" Texas asked aloud, seemingly tense as well. He'd never encountered anything that could do something like that. It wasn't a counter-wavelength or even madness. It was just....nothing.
The Machinist Officers couldn't feel resonance force or the void that had temporarily taken its place, but they could still tell that something significant and not good had happened. "Sorry Capt'n, but ah'm sure as Hell I heard it too," April May replied, her southern accent coming out strongly due to her nerves. Cassie raised her magnums, looking around nervously for a target. "Orders Captain?" She asked. Captain Schifo didn't get to answer. The bodies of the slain Wehrmacht soldiers slowly began to stir before rising up from the ground to stand once again. They were still clearly dead. Their bodies jerked and spasmed as if they were being poorly controlled by some unseen puppeteer. The lights on the AA Sniper suddenly blinked on, but this time instead of a light blue they were a deep red. The pilot did not stir, her body swaying slightly in the pilot seat as the AA Sniper seemed to turn of its own accord. "Wha....what is this!?" April May asked, eyes widening as the full horror of the mobile corpses and supposedly disabled weapon hit them. "I don't know. But we're going to put them back in the ground. Now!" The corpses raised their guns slowly and opened fire at the team, indiscriminately attempting to kill them all. They didn't even bother to aim or steady their weapons as their guns blazed, sending bullets in every direction. Even Electra had gotten to her feet but her glazed over, empty eyes were more than enough for everyone to tell that it wasn't really her. She - or rather, whatever was controlling her, raised her blade and lunged at Captain Schifo again. "Crap!" Captain Schifo parried her attack but it seemed her strength had somehow increased exponentially. Captain Schifo was forced backwards but he held his stance. "Open fire! OPEN FIRE!" Captain Schifo yelled as he drew his sidearm and began squeezing off shots at the corpse-Electra. She/it didn't even bother to dodge, the rounds slamming into her. However, she only twitched and jerked in response before advancing on him once again. Cassie and April May took Captain Schifo's orders to heart: Cassie began to pound the corpses with her magnums, dropping them to the ground only for them to rise again slowly. April May filled the air with ice spikes, shredding corpse after corpse with her attacks. Texas grimaced as he heard the AA Sniper powering up, raising the two miniguns out of their slots. "That shouldn't be working..." The miniguns both opened fire but instead of the stream of bullets it had shot before, the miniguns assaulted Texas and Mirai with a torrent of red glowing resonance blasts that let off a bizarre and unstable wavelength.

Mirai around the sniper as they were finished with that, dusting herself off before hearing Lily in her head. She was about to reply when she suddenly felt a shiver run through her. Suddenly, her telekinetic connection was cut off from her group. She tried reconnecting it... nothing. She couldn't control her wavelength. Seeing the bodies move, she jumped slightly and shuffled over to Texas, lightly grabbing his arm as she stood near him and watched as the weapon and the bodies came to life like something out of a horror movie. "IIIII've... never seen that before..." she muttered. As they suddenly ended up fighting again, Mirai's attention was directed towards the AA sniper as it pointed at her and Texas. She quickly yanked Texas with her for cover by a ruined building to avoid the sniper... for the time being. Her thoughts were in a jumble so for the time being the only link she could set up was the one with Texas, which seemed to form naturally on its own most of the time now. "I know the last round was bullets... but I really think it would be even worse if we got hit by that... just a feeling..." she said out loud as debris rose up around the AA sniper and launched at it, aiming more towards the barrels to try and dent them enough so they wouldn't be able to fire properly.
Lily just frowned hearing Texas "Yea...if your hoping for my kitsune half of my kind to put up with their thought process of us...more likely then not...they are going to get killed by the pissed off kitsunes" she sent back to Texas, as she was pretty sure no kitsune would put up with this, as most held too much pride to be considered lower. Soon she would hear the word 'wehrmacht' in a weird hushed tone, next the connection seemed to be cut off, and her ice power seemed to go away for a bit, As for the soul sensing she had no idea that was happening as she couldn't sense any souls to begin with. after that the others began to freak out, and not only that she noticd some dead bodies or what she though were dead bodies standing back up, "I...don't hear any heartbeats from them...did you guys research bringing the dead back from life or something?" she asked looking back at the others, when one came close to her she would try activating her fire creating a flame sword and stabbing it so it could catch on fire, as she assumed maybe burning them would be the best option since if they had nothing but bones or ash they couldn't really get back up.

While everyone stood around and spoke about what they would do next, Despair would remove himself from the others, walking around, looking for anything that could possibly liven his mood again. However, just as the wind took over the area, Despair sensed that something was amiss, his powers, they had vanished and almost as soon as they were gone, they would come back. This little happening, was enough to bring back Despair's interest in this mission. Someone or something was somehow able to completely rid Despair of his powers, but that was only the beginning. After a few seconds, the bodies of all the slain soldiers there, including that of Electra, began moving. They were still dead, but able to move and fight. And judging by how much trouble Captain Schifo was having, they were stronger as well. Standing atop a pile of debris, Despair watched as everyone began fighting off the reanimated bodies. "What the hell? After that ominous presence, we have to fight zombies now?" he asked, not really talking to anyone in particular. Sighing, Despair would continue standing on the debris, showing little to no, interest in fighting the zombies. "Say, Captain Schifo, instead of fighting this pointless fight. Shouldn't we retreat and recover our strength? As of now, in our current condition, we stand no chance at successfully taking down these monstrosities." Despair stated. Though, if he wanted, Despair could have ended the zombies rather simply, same goes for the other DWMA people.
Texas felt Mirai pull him behind cover as the AA Sniper fired its miniguns at them, the bizarre wavelength shots tearing through steel and concrete. "This isn't good..." Texas muttered. "The pilot..." he glanced over the cover they were behind to see the pilot's lifeless body still lying face-down on the console. The AA Sniper quickly spun towards him and the miniguns fired again. Texas quickly ducked back down and changed spots so that it lost track of him. "I don't get it. How is it moving on its own?" He whispered. Mirai's attacks seemed to be having zero affect on it. The metal was clearly made of something sturdy as not even a dent was made in it. The only evidence of it being struck was the clacking of the skulls hanging from the Sniper knocking against each other.
Cassie glanced at Lily in between shots as she heard her ask about their research. "I've never heard of anything like this..." she replied. "It's clearly some kind of abomination. Witchcraft maybe." April May moved up, taking up a position behind Lily and covering her other side. She switched to fire attacks as well and began throwing flames in every direction at the approaching enemies. The undead creatures that Lily and April May attacked burst into flames and began to disintegrate. Lily's plan was working. "I'll keep them off you two, keep burning them to ash!" Cassie called to Lily and April.
Schifo was still fighting the undead being that Electra had become. She was much stronger but he was still holding his own. He parried her attacks, occasionally opening up small wounds on her body but they didn't seem to be having much effect. Of course, Electra's sword was still covered in chemical poison so one hit from the blade would be lethal to any Machinist. Captain Schifo didn't look at Despair as he heard him, merely jerking his head towards the AA Sniper without looking away from Electra. "We're not leaving until that thing is out of commission. For good this time," he replied. "And we CAN defeat them, for the love of Lady Clara get down here and help us!" He added as he parried another blow from Electra.

Mirai continued evading the Sniper as well. She grimaced as her attacks didn't do much to it. "We are going to have to destroy it..."she told Texas through a telepathic link. She unconsciously tended to set up links with him now without thinking. It just happened naturally now and it felt weird not being able to talk to him through a mental link. "I'm not sure how though without blowing our cover..." Mirai ducked behind another ruined building then as she tried to recall any weak points the weapon had. If the group they were fighting pulled it from the wreckage it had to have some sort of damage to it? At least she would have thought so. The Machinists made some impressive weapons but none of them were indestructible.
Lily would continue to slash at any undead that came close to her. she gave a suprised look when they seemed to be bursting "I assumed it would work...but not that well" she muttered before hearing Cassie speak "I don't know what kind of witch craft...but i thought you were supposed to not like witches and such...if it is witch craft...then someone on their side is getting outside help" she told her before April came in using her fire as well. "well...I'd rather not waste my strength firing out fire..." she muttered before her soul bursted out causing more tails to appear counting total of nine again. the tails would fly outward grabbing as many of the un dead as they can, when they grabbed any un dead the tails would ignite causing them to be hit with the fire. Personally since they were dwad there wasn't any worry of hurting them and it was the most efficient way of ridding the field of them.
