Her tail flickered as she pawed at father's big mane and nipped at his ears like usual. "Father when will Momma and they be getting up?" she asked curiously in her soft tone again. Her crimson orbs flickered to the cubs and Anastacia. Her ears flickering to his ready to pick up any sound wave coming from him.

Benton thought carefully before he answered her. "Well, Momma will be waking up about the time that these two get hungry. For a little while that's all they're going to do, wake up, eat and sleep. But give them a couple weeks and you can play with them. Okay?" He smiled, letting her climb on him, glad that she was this comfortable around him.

The black and silver ligeress was back on the lands. She had left when sudden news of Leanna's freedom reached her mystical ears, traveling to find her adoptive mother. Unfortunately, such didn't happen, even with the guidance of the South Wind, as the Magenta Rose had vanished without a trace. And so, with her most import relation gone, she came to her second most important, once more standting at the borders, once more speaking his name. "Adit..."

After a little while longer, the lioness's eyes slowly opened. Her children would be hungry soon. Staring upward, she gave a little murr and stretched, yawning. Flicking her tail gently, she looked over at Benton and Phae. "Hello, loves." She nuzzled Phaedra gently then licked Benton's cheek. She then stared down at her children, smiling warmly at them.
The black kit gave a loud growl. She was hungry, and she wanted the food now! getting up, she used her nose to search for her mother. Wobbling slightly, she managed to crawl over to her mother's warm belly and nudge around until she found what she was looking for. The milk was warm and delicious. The black continued to drink with fever.

It was some time after her children had left, and Akitana was feeling like she had never been more alone in the world. Her mate was still distant, her daughters gone, and her pale coated son seemed to withdrawing more by the day.
Akitana had taken to roaming the Pride's Lands, exploring like she had as a cub. Her range was not so wide as it had been, but she could not just abandon her Pride. Not yet.
Hinhallow watched his mother roam around the lands with silent eyes. The loss of his sisters was affecting him more than he would admit, but his DreamWeaving kept him sane. The songs of the fish and birds were as dear to him as his mother's lost laughter, and he heard them far more often.
"Time to be traveling soon." He said to no one in particular. "Very Soon."

((Such a mixture... So cute and so depressing...))
Benton smiled widely as his mate had woken, he loved watching her sleep (when she had pleasant dreams) she just looked so peaceful and magestic. "How was your rest?" He asked with a suave, happy smile.
The little white cub woke up and didn't feel her sister next to her. She let out a few calls of mewing protest until she was given a little nudge in the right direction (which she swatted at blindly, taking much might to lift her paw fully). Once she got to her mother she ate as well, almost starving.

"Well. Though I have a feeling I'll be going back soon." She chuckled gently and looked down at her little ones, her tail forming a circle around them. Her eyes held a soft gaze to them, her smile never wavering.
After the meal, the young cub yawned, milk slightly adorning her maw. Slowly, she crawled closer to her mother's belly and relaxed, her tail waving. A small yawn erupted from her throat as she then curled up and fell asleep.

"You awake enough to name them, my sweet?" Benton asked with a big smile, anxious to name them; as he knew Phae was as well. Leaning forward he gave her a lick on her nose, to coax the answer to a yes. There were millions of names running through his head for his two one-feathered children but none of them seemed right to him without Ana's approval.
The white cub had fallen asleep while feeding momentarily before shaking herself awake and crawling to her mother's paw and tried to cuddle up under it for warmth.

Ana gave a gentle nod. "Yes, my love. I'm awake enough for that." Her tail flicked gently as her paw began to stroke the white one soothingly and gently. Anastacia nudged both of her children affectionately, as well as Phae. "So...any ideas?" She looked to both her adopted daughter and mate.

Benton nodded his head, a big smile on his face as he examined the little skull on his white daughter than the tribal marking on the black more carefully. "I have a couple ideas, but what do you think, Phaedra?" Wanting to keep the eldest in the loop, he asked her opinion first, knowing that his older brother named him.

Phaedra purred when her 'momma' nuzzled her. She looked to both cubs and when she turned to the white a name popped into her head, she was clueless about the other one though...kind of confused her actually, "Cygni." she stated with a head tilt to Benton motioning to the little white girl. Her tail flickered as she looked to Ana hoping she wouldn't get bashed...she thought it was cute.

Benton shrugged and shook his head, "I quite like it..." But it was ultimatly up to Anastacia, she was the one that birthed them after all. Though, looking at Phae as she added in her opinion, her expression was so cute, Benton couldn't help but lick her cheek, chuckling a little.
Hearing her possible name, the little white cub woke up and wiggled around purring. Of course she liked the name, it was different than the other's she'd heard so far in her life. 'love' 'phae' 'momma' None of these seemed to work for her. Even if she didn't know they were naming her, she purred away until the silence went on too long, then she passed back out, laying on her back with her paws straight up in the air.

"Phae, that's a wonderful name!" She turned over to her white daughter and nuzzled her gently. "My little Cygni.." Her tail flicked gently as she then nuzzled the fiesty black. "And my might Altaria..." She looked toward Benton and Phae. "Would Altaria work?" She asked them? Ana had heard the name before somewhere and quite liked it. She thought it matched her little one.
At the mention of the 'A' word, the black kit began growling, not fiercly, but as if approvingly. Whether they liked it or not, the 'A' word WOULD be HER name...besides 'Cygni' sounded like more of a disease then anything else...She began to fell sorry for the child whose paren't named their daughter ' Cygni'...

Benton nodded and started thinking hard. He had heard that somewhere before as well, but couldn't place it. Came from the time he was studying under a shaman when he was a teen. But he gave his two newborn daughters a little nudge, whispering their name for each one of them as he did so. Then looking up he smiled and nuzzled Phae then Ana. These four lionesses were his life now. The number might grow, but from this it shall never shrink.
Newly dubed Cygni started swinging her paw in the air when she heard her sister's growling, with little growling of her own. Just because she couldn't see her sister, didn't mean she didn't want to play now that she was awake. So what if she couldn't exactly see her just yet... Wouldn't stop her!

Ears perking, Adit gazed out from where he heard the call and he slowly made his way towards there, "mother, i'll be back." he stated as he wandered towards the unheard call's direction. Knowing it was in only his mind he hoped that none would fallow because he knew it was someone he had not seen in ages past. Hoping that it was her, he smiled as he happily trotted in the direction of his mysterious female friend. "just a few more minutes and i'll be there.." he thought to himself as he picked up a bit of speed.
Returning back to the den, cloaked by his own sorrows, his own fur was dusty and matted, his mane in a slight dissarray. He had spent much time searching and found nothing, and even more time morning. In his cloak of invisabliity he hid, but his tears marked the ground that he treaded upon. "I am sorry I have failed you my queen." he whispered as he sat in shame before the lioness that he knew he had compleatly failed. The family and dreams of happiness that they once had together shared seemed to be an all too distant thing and now the dawn seemed even further away then ever.
