She smiled as Kaleb began to calm down. "See...I'm not that bad am I? And hugs are great for friendship building." She pulled away from him a bit and ruffled his hair. Giving him a kind smile and showing him there was nothing to be afraid of from her...that he knew of at this point anyways. "Now, lets get back to looking for your book shall we sweet-heart?" Felicia had now realized the best way to approach Kaleb was to treat him like a little puppy. Kind, gentle words, and lots of praise. At the thought of Kaleb with a collar and a leash giving a very sad look she could only giggle, she'd have to try that sometime.

He chuckled softly and headed though the mall to see if he could find the shop. "Its good you like them, since you're stuck with me and all."

((Tatsu and I kinda took a little detour this weekend. ^_^'' We'll need a bit of time to post it, so if you two want to continue Dem & Luxord's RP in the meantime, the group can meet up again in a bit. Or something.))
Having his hair ruffled was something Kaleb was familiar with, and the act quickly put him at ease after the hug. He smiled lopsidedly, and turned back to the bookshelves. "I'm glad you are feeling better," the mage said as he went back to examining the book spines. One title seemed to catch his interest, and after a bit of a struggle he had pulled the massive book off the shelf and flipped it open to read the table of contents. "This one might do..." he muttered, peering intently at the text in front of him.
Felicia blinked a bit. Now, she wasn't one who was terribly familiar with magic, but she knew some stuff. However, when she peered over Kaleb's shoulder she might as well have been reading chinese. "What does all that mean Kaleb? Some huge incantation or am I still under educated in thinking that mages still use incantations?" She snickered a bit. She was interested in the book, that's no lie, but she was more interested in Kaleb becoming more comfortable around her. "And can anyone learn magic nowadays? Because if you could teach me some tricks I'd be more than greatful!" Her voice was peppy and perky, hopefully this little bit of encouragement would bring the two closer.
Kaleb smiled a little, but his attention was still focused primarily on the text. "This is more like an explanation for a concept than an incantation. Most of my spells don't actually require an incantation, but speaking it out loud makes the casting easier, or it's just a formality to let others know you are casting." He was talking idly at that point, hardly giving any thought to his words as he scanned the text on the book.
When she asked about learning, the healer paused to look up at her. "I-I'm not much of a teacher," he said with a sheepish smile, "but if you can learn to channel energy, I could show you some magic." He closed the large book with a dull thud and took a step towards the checkout. "This one will do," he muttered, briefly glancing the title again.
She hmm'ed and haw'ed for a minute, pondering this new revolation. "Thats interesting. Now I guess it goes to question why on every cartoon when the good guys are fighting the bad guys why they always call out their spell. Another mystery of television." She snickered a bit.
"Aww," she spoke to him, "I woudn't want anyone else to teach me but you though hon!" Giggling a bit she continued. "Channel energy huh? You mean like those guys on cartoons with big huge spikey hair who scream a lot? Kinda like that? Or is it more along the lines of gathering 'chi' or something?" She played with Kaleb's hair a bit as she spoke. She flinched when the book hit the counter. How in the world did this frail boy lift that book? She was about to ask when she thought it better not to call him frail and gave up on her pondering.
Kaleb was quick to pay for the book, blushing as she toyed with his hair. He had a friend once who liked to play with his hair, once after a study sesson he had somehow ended up with a pair of pretty french braids tied with pink ribbon. It wasn't a pleasant experience, but he had been reassured that he made a very pretty girl.
"I-I don't watch cartoons, so I wouldn't really know..." he said as he hefted the large book and headed out of the store. "Channeling magical energy is exactly what it sounds like, you need to know how to make yourself a conduit for it so you can shape it properly. Restraint is also important, if you try to channel too much it will burn you." He appeared more confident with the book in his arms, and he actually made eye contact once or twice while he talked.

"Stuck? I'm not stuck with you! I choose to be with you!"
Or so he thought. Honestly one would have to wonder if Demyx ever realized just how far he had gotten himself into their rather complicated little relationship.
"I like being around you, you know that! Besides, you're fun."
The little blonde grinned up at Luxord, bouncing a circle around the older Audio.

She snickered as he blushed. He was such a child in some ways, it really made her smile just being around him. If she could, she would have snuggled her face into his hair and purred just to see his reaction, but again, she tucked it away for later use.
"Awww, no cartoons for the little mage? You really should watch some, it's kinda fun to just relax early in the morning, have some breakfast, and watch a mouse run from a cat for hours on end." After all this silly talk, Felicia was taken back as Kaleb's actions got more serious. With each time Kaleb made eye contact with her she gasped lightly under her breath and blushed a bit. She tried to shake it off, with little success. "Oh wow. It sounds pretty complicated...any chance you could help me learn how to do that?"
Kaleb gave Felicia a borderline confused look. "Do they play cartoons that early in the morning? I'm usually done breakfast and starting my practices by quarter after five, but I don't eat much so breakfast really doesn't take too long anyway..." He smiled almost apologetically when she asked him about learning to channel. "I could give you some advice, but it came easy to me so I wouldn't know where to start in teaching it." He wasn't bragging, instead he sounded rather disappointed for not being of much help.
He shook his head lightly, as if to rid himself of a thought he'd rather not dwell on, and gave her a lopsided smile. "Did you need anything here at the mall?"
She just stared. Quarter after five?! She had trouble getting out of bed at 10, let alone before 7! "W-well I'm sure they do on some stations. I've seen them on that early before." This was a half truth, it was late night hentai at three in the morning, but considering Felicia's style, it counted. She just gave Kaleb a smile after that.
"Oh I see I see...you must be very skilled to have been able to pick up that skill fast!" She praised him again, playing with his hair a bit more. "If you'd help me I'd be forever indebted to you, hon."
An evil smirk grew on her face. "Oh oh! Lets go to the pet store! Please? I have the best idea!"
Felicia's stare made him fidget nervously around his book, but was reassured by her smile. "I don't even know if the TV in my apartment works anyway..."
Kaleb blushed brightly at her praise. "I-I'll try," he said, glancing away so he happened to miss Felicia's smirk. "The mall isn't the best place for mental exercises unless you are working on focus, we would have to go somewhere quieter."
At the mention of a pet store he smiled slightly. "You wouldn't mind if I joined you?"
"Apartment?" He had an apartment? Innnnteresting. More information she'd store in the back of her perverted mind for later. "You'll have to show me your apartment sometime." She said this with a wink, unsure of if he'd understand what she meant.
Felicia gave him a quick hug and squee-ed happily. "Thank you so much!" She thought back a moment. Perfection! "You're right...maybe after we go to the pet store we can head over to your place. Does that sound alright?" Alright?! ALRIGHT?! Oh this was perfect in Felicia's mind. She could get him alone and corrupt him on a more...personal basis. Though the serious face of Kaleb from before had stuck in her mind, she thought about it for a moment and blushed again. She thought to herself "Damn, this guy threw me for a loop with that one. I've gotta stay focused!"
She took his hand in hers and started walking faster. "I wouldn't have told you if I didn't want you to join me, love! Lets go!"

He chuckled again and shook his head. Demyx probably didnt realise just how far he'd gotten himself into things and that was probably good. Knowing might scare the smaller Audio and he would not want that.
"I makes me glad to know you think like that Demyx."

The little one giggled, grabbing Luxord's paw and once more dragging him off through the mall.
"Now cmon, let's find that store!"

Kaleb blushed and stuttered, thinking about the state his little apartment was in at the moment. "I-I d-don't know if that's such a good idea, I haven't had a chance to clean it any." It would take him all day to move enough books to make the place presentable for entertaining guests, and the only thing he had to drink was chocolate milk.
When she grabbed his hand and tugged him towards the pet store, he would have nervously adjusted his glasses if his other arm wasn't fully occupied with the massive book. As it was, he followed in a rather docile manner.
"Tsk! Don't worry about having a presentable apartment, Kaleb. Considering how you act around books, I can only guess that it's got books all over the place. And you should be proud of that! So after we get to the pet store, we're going to your apartment, no if-ands-or buts about it!" She put her finger up to her mouth to gesture a 'shh' or 'quiet' sign to him, meaning that was it, no more words needed to be said, once she made up her mind, there was no turning back.
As they arrived at the pet store Felicia's smile grew. "I want to look for a small pet that I can pick up after we are finished at your place...and maybe a few other things. Help me look, ok?" She skittered into the shop. First examining the leashes, looking around carefully she found one that was a nice shade of pale light blue. "Oooh, this would look nice." She took it from the counter then skittered to the next part of the shop she looked around the collars. This needed to be personal. Something fassionable and stylish, yet not so much 'holywow! LOOK AT ME!'. She found a black leather collar with some light pale blue stitches in the design of a heart with stars around it. "Oh this is PERFECT!" She snatched this as well. Felicia looked back at Kaleb and smiled, oh how cute would he look with these on him! Giggling she walked over to a pen full of rabbit like creatures. "Kaleb! Come look at these! Arn't they adorable!"
Kaleb chewed on his lower lip nervously, he wasn't sure if he would ever be proud of having such a cluttered apartment. He didn't have a bookshelf for his books, and his notes were everywhere. There was a pen and notepad in every room just in case an idea struck him, and he didn't even want to think about the sticky notes stuck to the bathroom mirror.
After being pulled into the pet store, he blinked a bit as Felicia wandered off to look at something. With a small smile, Kaleb happily wandered off to look at the fish for a bit before he heard her call. He tilted his head curiously when he saw the little creatures she was looking at. "Is this what you were looking for?" he asked, watching the rabbit things intently.
She nodded. "These are them! I-Babbits! Cute little things arn't they?" She looked around the little pen and giggled watching all the little things run around and play. One stood out though. It was black and had neon colorings.
"Oh that one! That one! I want that one!" She picked it up and brought it over to the counter. "Make sure this one is kept for me Mr. Shopkeeper, sir!" She turned the charm to max, leaning in. The shopkeeper just nodded and took it in the backroom. After he returned she threw the leash and collar on the counter. "And then I'll take these right now." Sliding the money to the man and taking her little 'prizes' with her.
"Now dear Kaleb." She laced her arm around his. "Lead me to your apartment, I can't wait to see it!" Felicia giggled. With the collar and leash, Kaleb would be her little pet for sure!
Although the healer didn't think much on the topic of the collar and leash, something in the back of his mind wondered if it would be a little too big for Felicia's new pet.
Kaleb's blush sprung up again when Felicia took his arm, although he was quite hesitant to let Felicia visit, she seemed hell bent on going there. "A-are you sure we couldn't find somewhere else to work on exercises? The park is usually pretty quiet this time of day, and the weather is nice..." He had to give it one last try, although he doubted it would change her mind anyway.

"No no! I wanna go to your place, we can go to the park afterwards for a 'walk' though if you'd like." She giggled. Silly little Kaleb, poor boy didn't know what he was in for. "Now come on cutie-pie! Lead the way!"
Kaleb chewed on his lip for a bit, perhaps a walk would be nice afterwards. Relaxing maybe. "Okay, at least it will give me a chance to drop off my book."
Luckily it wasn't too long a walk to get back to his small apartment, and Kaleb was quick to find his keys and open the door. He quickly kicked off his shoes, set down his book on top of a sturdy stack near the door, and set to clearing a spot to sit. Channeling a bit of energy, he used a float spell to shift several giant stacks of tomes away from the threadbare couch and old, dusty chair. "I-I'm sorry about the mess, just have a seat anywhere..."
She peeked around Kaleb's apartment. Man he wasn't kidding, books were everywhere. But it made Felicia smile. "Nice place you have here, hon." She slid off her boots and took a seat on the couch, getting comfy. "So how do we start? Is there something I should do?" She quirked an eyebrow remembering something she heard before. "I remember once before someone in a book or on TV, I don't remember, said that achieving focus was easier nude, should I undress?" She did this specifically to mess with him, but if she was right, hey, she wouldn't say no. Besides, that'd mean he'd have to undress too. Oh but it was only a pipe dream (I'm sorry guys, forgive the perverted pun, I just had to. xD!!!) "Though they were probably lying, but if you say it, I'll do it, you're the teacher here." She giggled.
Kaleb blushed furiously as he sat down in the old chair, tucking his feet up and adopting the same posture he took when they sat down in the bookstore. "I-I would th-think it would be harder to concentrate without clothing." He stuttered nervously, wondering how he would be able to stop her if she did decide to undress right there in his apartment.
He took a deep breath, pushing that out of his mind and slipping into a more calm and confident mood. "I've heard the best way to channel magic is to close your eyes, and focus on your breathing. When you inhale, imagine yourself drawing a small portion of magical energy into your body, and on the exhale, imagine yourself releasing it into the air in front of you." He smiled. "An old friend of mine swore by imagining the energy being released through his forehead, but I think that's a matter of preference."
Felicia snickered. She could tell by the look on Kaleb's face that he was trying to figure out what to do if she stripped infront of him. "All a matter of who you are hon." She gave him a wink and laughed a little. "Don't worry, unless you say 'and now is the part where we get naked', I promise I won't undress." She had her fingers crossed behind her back. This was just too keep her options open.
Felicia mimiced Kaleb's information. With her eyes closed and breathing deep she focused. "Like this, Kaleb?" She kept it up. "I feel all...tingly. Is that bad?"
The mage smiled, "I don't know about tingly, I don't think I've felt that even when spells have gone dramatically wrong. Usually it feels... warm." He channeled a bit of energy himself, idly floating the notes scattered around the room into neat piles on the small coffee table near the couch. "Maybe it's allergies?" The mage suggested, a trace of humor in his eyes.
"It might take awhile before you notice anything," he said softly as the piles of loose papers grew taller. "I've known people who worked at it for months before they noticed anything, and worked for months after that before they could do anything with the energy." His usual nervous tendancies seemed to have vanished, replaced by the calm he used to focus on his own magical training.
She snicked. "Was that a joke I just heard?" Felicia was surprised to hear something like that from Kaleb. More revalations by the minute.
Pausing for a moment. "Months? That's quite a while." She thought about it. "But if I have you to help me it will be a lot more fun." She gave him a calm smile. "Hmm..." squirming around a bit she sighed. "Kaleb can I ask a favor from you? My clothes are not the ... well they arn't the easiest of clothes to get centered in. Could I maybe...borrow something of yours to wear?"

Kaleb shook his head, "No, I was being serious. Really."
However, Felicia's question nearly shocked him right out of his calm composure, and he nearly dropped the papers he had been floating into the neat stacks. "I-I don't know if I have anything that would fit..." He muttered, glancing in her direction. "Maybe your leather is too tight and that's why you feel tingly."
"Oh come on, your clothes would fit me well enough. Please?" She gave him the most innocent and sorrowful eyes she could muster. "Or...I could just take off what I have and leave it at that." If the first ploy didn't work, the second one was sure to get his attention.
Kaleb blushed a bit at her second tactic, his mellow and unjittery mood crumbling a bit around the edges as he stood. "I-I'll see what I can find, I hope you don't mind jeans." He walked across the room and down the short hallway to the apartment's single bedroom, sidestepping around piles of books here and there. He frowned into his closet before pulling out the largest shirt he owned, which would hopefully fit her... uhm, chest.
Felicia sort of felt bad for having to use that tactic, but trying to focus in something like this was near impossible. "I don't mind at all, thanks honey!" She gave him a smile and a little wave as he walked away. She snuggled back into the couch until Kaleb returned. Oh being in his place was so much fun!
Kaleb quickly managed to locate a pair of dark jeans that would probably fit, and he took both articles of clothing back to the livingroom. "You can change in the washroom," He said, gesturing to the first door down the little hallway. He blushed sighed a little as he held out the clothes so Felicia could take them. "Please disregard the sticky notes..."
She happily took the clothes from Kaleb, ruffling his hair in appreciation on her way to the washroom. "I'll be back in just a minute! Don't start any fancy magic stuff without me, I wanna see everything you can do!" She snickered, she meant it in more than one way, again, thinking Kaleb wouldn't understand it.
Upon entering the washroom she gasped. "Holy...he wasn't kidding. It's like a hall of stickynotes in here! ...wonder if he wrote anything naughty on one." She giggled loudly at that thought. Slipping off her leather suit, she sighed happily as her body got a breath of fresh air. However, she realized he was in the other room and waiting, so she quickly slid on the jeans he had given her and the shirt. The pants fit well enough, but the shirt was tight. "Oh well, lucky they have buttons." Felicia unbuttoned the top few buttons and the shirt loosened it's grip on her chest. "Ahhh...much better." Sliding back into the main room where Kaleb was she spun around. "How do I look?"
Kaleb blushed, apparently even his largest shirt wasn't quite enough. He stuttered something in reply to her question as he nervously rubbed the back of his neck, but it wouldn't have been loud (or coherent) enough for Felicia to make out the words. He quickly settled back into the chair, taking a deep breath or two to calm down again.
"I-if you are feeling more comfortable now, perhaps we should continue?" The mage asked after a couple seconds, looking back up at her with a renewed inner tranquility.

At this pount, Felicia just couldn't help herself. She moved close to Kaleb and bent over looking him in the eyes, putting on an innocent. "Whats wrong, hon? You look like you have a fever." She put the back of her hand to his head, repressing giggles. "Well you don't feel warm, but what else could it be then you not feeling well?" She backed away from Kaleb and took her seat on the couch again, snuggling into her spot. "Mmm...alright, I'm all comfy. Lets keep going."
Kaleb frowned to himself, aside from the nervous knot in his stomach he felt fine. It wasn't like him to get sick, but when he did catch something it was usually the tenacious kind of bug that had him miserable and bedridden for at least a couple days. He really hoped he wasn't coming down with anything, but he knew even the psychological effect of having someone ask you if you were feeling okay could trigger a kind of psychosomatic illness.
The mage shook his head a bit, he was overthinking things. "Yeah. Remember, imagine drawing it in as you inhale, and out as you exhale. You don't mind if I practice a bit myself while you work?"
She listened to his words, closing her eyes. Drawing in air and invisioning energy flowing in, then exhailing and imagining it flow out. "Hmm? Oh! Oh not at all! Feel free to work your little magical wonders, sweetie." She went back to her breathing. In reality she didn't know if this would work for her or not, but all in all, it was well needed relaxation from her past life she left long ago.
After a while of doing her exercises she opened one eye and looked at Kaleb. "Um, sweet-heart? Can I ask you a personal question? I know it probably isn't my place to ask but...why do new people make you so nervous? Or were you just jittery a few minutes ago because of the way your shirt fits on me?" There was no laugh in her tone, she was serious now. Though she did love her games, she didn't want to frighten him away. She really quite enjoyed this time they were spending together. "I ask this because, you're fun to be around and I really enjoy your companionship. I'd hate to lose that because of something I might do."
Kaleb opened his own eyes, but that didn't change the fact that all the furniture in the room was floating about two inches above the floor. He nervously chewed on a thumbnail as he thought out his reply, appearing to completely ignore the floating furniture. "I-I don't know, I just... am." He managed a bit of a wry smile. "I'm afraid I will disappoint. I never know what to say or do, so I'm afraid of doing the wrong thing and that makes me nervous."
He trailed off, and went back to chewing on a thumbnail. Maybe he had said too much. Maybe he was coming down with something after all.
"Okay, stop right there." She let out another breath and opened up her eyes again. "No more magic for now, come over here and sit with me. We have to talk about this. And I won't take a stutter for an answer, your butt is going to be sitting on this couch with me this isntant little mister!" She didn't sound angry, just demanding. "And don't worry, hon, you're safe with me." Felicia added this just to reassure him that he would be alright.
Kaleb blinked, surprised at the demanding tone. Surprised and rather nervous at the change of pace. He fidgeted a bit, but she had said no stuttered answers, and that left him at a loss as to what he could reply with. Felicia sounded as though she would personally hop off the floating couch, grab him by the front of his shirt, and haul him back to the couch with her if he didn't willingly follow her commands, so he stood up shakily and sat down on the couch beside her. His feet never touched the ground though, the channeling was a form of reassurance he needed right then and he wouldn't let that go regardless of what she said.
As soon as Kaleb sat next to her, Felicia wrapped her arms around him, hugging him tight and reassuringly. "You could never disappoint me. And if anyone ever tried to make you feel bad, I'd shove them right off of a cliff." She stroked his hair. "You're a great person, and devilishly cute to boot." Complimenting him was her way of building up his confidence. She signed a bit, still holding him to her. "You know, I once knew someone who tried to do everything right and protect those he cared for, and slowly with time he started to hurt because he took all that burden on by himself even though he had family and friends around. He ended up fine, but he still deals with those issues. And I couldn't imagine something like that happening to you, no offence, but I don't think you could manage like that all alone. So if you need anything, hon, you just tell me, I'll do everything I can to help you and make you feel better."
She grabbed the collar next to her, a gift meant for Kaleb and for herself as well and put it on him. "This was meant for something else, but I figure it would make a great friendship 'band', so to speak. Just a sign of my friendship with you." She let him loose and gave him a bright smile. "Is this all okay with you Kaleb?"
