Well, if you insist.
Ryugi plopped himself down about three feet away from his good friend, and removed his swords to make for a move comfortable sitting position.
Heh, when I was younger I used to like to sleep in trees. My mother would always get upset when I did.
He laughed a bit.

I'm jealous.
He said with a smirk.
We only had palm trees in the Shadow Lands. I used to sleep in the sand. It was very comfortable, but Mother always used to grimace when she had to clean the sand off my clothes.
He chuckled in memory.
Father would always...
Beat him senseless in the name of "training". The man never held a punch. He decided to stop that train of thought and jump onto another.
Ryugi, where did you learn to fight?

You know, you're the first person to ever ask me that question.
He chuckled and lay back down on the grass.
I learned how to fight in my town's fighting school. It wasn't nearly as fancy as the name makes it sound. When younglings would get to be of a certain age, usually five or six, thats in dragon years mind you, so in a human form, we looked almost twice that, they would be sent there to learn combat skills.
He chuckled as he remembered his first few years.
You see, Angara had just had a major war with humans, and so, they wanted everyone to be prepared should it ever happen again. Anyway, the first things we learned were hand to hand combat, and once we'd mastered that, we went on to master our elemental abilities, and various weapon usage. I majored in swordplay and lance and spear fighting. Ryudo was the best student in the school, being able to topple some of the older kids. Anyway, it was a quaint little place, but it gave us the skills we needed if we ever came under attack again.

The Reaper hadnt a clue who this Ryudo fellow was. But he just sort of smiled on through. Nodding, occasionally. A fighting school...that wasnt what he had expected after watching Ryugi fight. But...he continued on his train of thought none the less.
Do you think the majority of the fighters out there had schools? Or some other means of education?
He had that look on his eyes. That starry gaze that meant he was looking at a big picture, perhaps to big for him to grasp fully. That look only meant trouble.

I don't know... My guess is that many of them might have had some form of beginning training, or they were simply thrust into a world where they had to fight to survive. Either way, I don't think there are any fighting school in this area, so my guess is that many of them learned how to fight themselves.
He continued to look into the sky, but them turned to look at his friend.
Max, are you going somewhere with this?

I havent seen a fighting school anywhere....
Actually he was going alot of places with this. He had a basis of an idea swimming around in the back of his head. But nothing solid just yet. It was missing a piece...and when Shadow Island broke through the clouds just gently wafting by, its windmill in spin. The idea was complete.
And most fighters it seems...only know how to kill. How to survive...
His hand rose up to tap his chin.
...that sort of fighting must cost hundreds of lives. Worst still if the person has no control over their power.
His eyes scanned over the island. Especially taking not of the massive area of space surrounding the one giant windmill.
...what if there was a place or people to go to learn how to fight properly?

Ryugi was catching on as he watched Shadow Island come through the clouds...
Yeah... It could be a school of some sort, an Academy even. And you could build it on Shadow Island! That would be a sight to see a floating school for fighters on an island. Now THATS a neat thought.
Ryugi seemed to stare off into the sky, dreamily.
But...any kind of a school needs teachers. Where would we get teachers?

Ryugi guessed it. That was just about exactly what was going through his mind. Maximos smiled and nodded as Ryugi read it off. And smiled a bit wider when the dragon reached the same stopping point the Shadow was stuck at.
Yes...that would be our biggest problem.
And then it came to him. His eyes brightened for a moment as he worked his way to his feet.
I think I know...
He said with a smirk.
...but I have to look in to some things. I'll get back to you on that Ryugi!
And he was off. He jumped clear off the little plateau two streams of black bursting from the souls of his boots as he jetted off directly at Shadow Island. There was much to plan for, much to do.

Ryugi blinked as his friend jetted off towards the massive floating form of the Island. He chuckled and stood up, waving as his friend shot up towards it.
See you later Max!! And thanks for listening!!
With that, Ryugi would turn and begin the long walk back to civilization. Afterall, it HAD been a while since he'd seen the Stadium...

A few days before reaching the stadium, and a few minutes after Maximos had left, Ryugi was walking when a voice came from his shadow...
It seems we have a problem on our hands, does it not, Ryugi?
Ryugi grinned a bit as he recognized the voice. It was the voice of none other than his brother, Ryudo. Probably talking to him from wherever he was...
Nice to hear from you Ryudo... But, how do you know about--
Ryugi was cut off.
I happen to know quite a lot more than some people bother to tell me. I was bored while wandering and I happened to check up on a few individuals... I happened to hear your story about Moonblade as you were talking with your shadowy friend back there. So I took some time to see what he was up to... Do you know where he is?
I couldn't tell you, but I have a feeling I'm about to find out.
Correct you are. As it turns out, Moonblade is near Sorrow's Keep. Not many people know this, but theres a necromancy cult there. It seems he's turned on all of us, Ryugi. And he won't be changing back to himself anytime soon. And from what I heard Moonblade and another speaking about, he won't be so nice to you next time...
So, what do you suggest I do? I can't fight what I'm unaware of.
Not you, dunderhead. We. All of us. He'll strike again. It isn't a matter of "if", its a matter of "when". And when he does, we'll need to be ready to have the other's backs. I can easily provide that for you and anyone else he might be after among us.
A soft seepage of shadow energy came from Ryugi's shadow, and a shadow whisp would appear and look around. It would then float around Ryugi a bit before quickly sinking into his shadow.
Let me guess what he's for. To keep tabs on me?
A chuckle came form the shadow.
Not quite. It'll allow me that, as well as something a little different. I don't know who might be listening, so I can't say any more than that. Kobayashi already has one for herself, and I'll need to get a hold of your pupil friend, just in case. Just know I've got your back...
Thats a comforting feeling...
Ryugi grinned, his voice full of joking sarcasm.
Hey, I didn't HAVE to do this you know? Just know I'm watching.
Right. Thanks Ryudo.
And with that, the conversation was over, and Ryugi continued on towards the stadium...

A warm breeze washed over Reinhart's body as he lay on the side of a small hill resting, his arms behind his head. Like a little boy he looked to the sky at the passing clouds making out whatever forms he could. It was a beautiful day, the sun shone over the plains, the wind flew warm and soft, and there was no soul in sight. Peaceful and lonely, it brought refuge to Reinhart's heart. However, he wasn't just in this place to enjoy a day off he laid where he was waiting.
There was someone he was to meet, a certain someone in his life he'd promised to see again. Aside from the tall grass, the coulds, the sun and the sky, Reinhart laid alone closing his eyes waiting for that someone to come. He'd sent his summons, there was no doubt they'd come.

Walking through the long grass with a steady relaxed pace and an emotionless look come a slim curved figure of a young tanned attractive woman, her hips would slightly sway from side to side with every step she took and her every move filled with grace. She had returned after time away with her sister, on her return she had heard from someone she had not spoken to in a very long time. This was the reason that she had come here, she had been summoned here by him.
Leanne continued onwards, her senses picking up on his aura as she got closer and closer to his location. The warm breeze blew softly over her slender form, on nearing him she came to a stop. She stood about 8 foot away, her soft brown earthern eyes gazed out across the plains as she gave a soft sigh and let her arms hang free down by her sides.
"Reinhart..."
Her voice soft and gentle, holding a smoothness to it.

There was no physical reaction from him, his eyes remained closed as the wind blew on them both. A couple of seconds passed, he'd taken this time to 'feel' her out, guess what she looked likeor may've been wearing. It was quite a while since he'd seen her last but thier bond remained true. Finally his eyes opened, the sun blinding him shortly before the scenery came back in place.
"Join me won't you?"
He said in a normal tone, like one person simply inviting another.
"I'm making out shapes of the coulds."
And he finally looked to her as he turned his head a small smile on his face he laid eyes on hers and waited for her response.

Leanne listen to what he had to say, her figure stood at 5ft6. Long medium silky brown hair flowed freely down her back reaching just past the small of her back blowing in the breeze slightly, her gaze shifted to look at where he was laid. Dressed in a tight white shirt that was unbuttoned to reveal a good amount of cleavage and fitted her slim curved figure nicely, with a short black skirt and a pair of black thigh high boots that had straps and silver buckles running all the way up both boots. A black velvet choker was wrapped around her delicate neck and black fingerless fighting gloves could be see upon her hands.
"Very well."
She looked at him and gave a small smile then got slightly closer and carefully laid down next to him, looking up at the sky with a smile on her face she remainedsilent for the moment as she pondered.

For an instant he was stunned as his eyes rested on her form. She was as beuatiful as ever unchanged by the blood that coursed through her veins. Once she replied he looked back to the sky, his hands still resting behind his head he waited till she laid next to him. It wasn't sudden but he moved throwing one leg over her putting her under him. She may've been looking to the sky but now she'd be looking onto Reinhart's face.
His hands held him up above her just slightly as he looked down at her with that small smile still present on his face. In sense she was trapped under him the way he was over her and then he spoke.
"How've you been my dear?"
The tone was a bit friendlier than moments before and his movement on her shouldn't be a surprise to her at all. They were very familiar with each otehr after all.
