Lily looked over at Kagura and smiled. "Sorry we're so loud auntie Kagura."
"Oh, so you can say sorry to her, but I'm sore and you're still going at it." Sirius began pouting. "She's mean auntie Kagura."

"But I'm not baiting her." Sirius pouted. "She's been attacking me, and throwing things at me all day."
"And you've been annoying me all day." Lily rolled her eyes and stuck her tounge out at him. She had no idea why she was being so childish, but right now she didn't care.

"But I told her I was sorry." Sirius looked at her incredulously. "I didn't mean to destroy your potion Lily." Sirius was serious for the first time since getting back to the common room.
"Well I guess I'm sorry I wasn't very forgiving." Lily sighed.

Kagura smiled and nodded approvingly. "It is true that you n-need to be a little more a-accepting, Lily-chan, but Sirius-kun, you shouldn't b-be so careless. So you s-see, both of you are equally at fault. But if you can w-work around those little differences, you may even b-become friends. And Lily-chan, the same goes for James-kun."

Sirius now turned to Sunrise and Remus. "So nobody has to have a spanking?"

"Well, Lily-san," Kagura said casually, examining her book, "Sirius-kun and James-kun are b-best friends, and you seem to hate them both e-equally. But James-kun doesn't hate you, and if you l-learn to get along with Sirius-kun, maybe you can get along with James-kun too." Kagura looked up, smiling. "I don't l-like to see others unhappy, let alone b-borderline suicidal."

"Yah, James is love struck, but not suicidal." Sirius spun to face Kagura. "I should know seeing as I'm one of his best friends."

"Well, James does mope a lot when Lily's not around." Sirius thought about it for a sec all thoughts of earliers battle long since forgotten.
"Are you serious?" Lily just stared in shock. She wasn't sure whether to be grossed out that he was that obsessed, or touched that he really cared about her that much.
