Kat jumped slightly. "Uh...yeah, I just need to use the bathroom." She lept off the futon and shot into the bathroom. She was shaking slightly but pulled the small box out from underneath the sink. She had taken a pregnancy test before, right after she was...attacked...It felt odd in her hands again, it was too much like before and she didn't like it but she had to know. It had been almost a week since they had gotten together and as she read the box, it was the same brand she had used before, aparently the best brand on the market. She took a deep breath and proceded to take the test.

"Doesn't... feel a whole lot different, really," Connor admitted, scratching the side of his head with his free hand. "But now I have a very incredible evening permanently embeded in my memory, and that counts for a great deal." He leaned over and kissed Luka's cheek.

Katra was in the bathroom longer than he had expected. Curtis found himself pacing, much like he had during his days in captivity of the Nazis. Finally, he could stand no more. He timidly approached the bathroom door.
"Katra?"

Kat jumped at Curtis's voice. She was shaking the stupid little test in her hand as she replied, her voice shaking, "I'm fine, I'll be out in a minute..." She had waited the length she was supposed and too ka very deep breath before glancing down at the test.

Luka smiled. "Babe, I know you really don't have a basis of comparison, but incredible doesn't even begin to cover it." She pulled her hand of his and slid her arm around his waist. "That was the most amazing sex I have ever had."

Luka stopped and kissed him, lingering for quite sometime. "What do you think it does for me knowing that are mine forever?"

Kat's eyes were huge and her hands shook violently. She held onto the test a little too tight and it snapped in half. She quickly deposited it in teh trash and then sat down on the toilet seat. 'I...shouldn't freak out. theres such things as a false positive...' she thought.

Curtis sagged onto the couch. His sixth sense was going crazy. Something was wrong, but he didn't want to be smothering. He folded his hands and his foot began tapping rapidly.

Kat closed her eyes and tried to calm down. She could sense that Curtis was uneasy. Once she thought she was calm enough not to freak out she stood up and opened the bathroom door. She smiled as best she could and went over and sat next to Curtis. "Sorry...I just felt...sick."

Curtis immediately put his arm around his mate.
"Still not well?" he asked. "Perhaps you will get better now that we are home." He sensed that there was something deeper, but chose not to pry.

Kat tried to hold herself together but she couldn't. She started sobbing and couldn't make anything she said even slightly recognizable.
