Nat: You did claim to be one of Wellzy's wives, so what's so bad of having two husbands in Wellzy and Streek? blaugh rofl Besides, Wellzy has 4 wives and 4 male hubbies, according to his sig. mrgreen

O_o I'd rather not ask further questions about the nature of the relationship between you, Wellz and Streek. ninja I confess that one of of the residents at our nursing home died from a hart attack yesterday.

Mini - I confess you already told us this! Just... I guess no one really knows what to say. I know I don't.
I guess it would have been a shock for you. Death always is, even though it's as much a part of life as being born. We just have to deal with it in whatever way we can.
I saw one of my chickens die last week. It was very strange. One minute she was walking around all happy, the next she was all sprawled out on the ground, gasping and flapping oddly and closing her eyes. It was disturbing... I had no idea what to do... so I patted her on the back a few times incase she was choking on something, but it didn't make a difference. I think she must have had a heart attack too.
So yeah, death happens. Everyone, every thing dies. It's a sad fact of life, but we have to live with it, especially if you work in a nursing home...
I'm sorry if I don't sound very sympathetic. I don't know how well you knew this person or anything... Just these days death is just everywhere. Every night we hear "this many people died because of this today". A hundred people die and it hardly even registers. It only really effects you if it's someone you know... and then the reality comes crashing down.

A hundred people die and it hardly even registers. It only really effects you if it's someone you know... and then the reality comes crashing down. Nah it wasn't that shcoking. Just an incredible surprise. The only shocking deaths I'd feel emotional for are any ones that involve the death of one of my immediate family or extended family members. If that happened I'd probably sulk in solitude for several days. The manner of the resident's death was just so sudden. The previous night he appeared to be alright...he even asked for icecream before he went to bed. Someone who eats icecream at night wouldn't appear to be dying. At lunch time my mum said he looked alright too. Yet at 3pm one of the workers came into his room and found in lying there, absolutely still, not moving at all. She freaked out when she discovered he was now a corpse. xd

I confess that I have a terrible concentration span!
I sit down to do an assignment... write 3 sentences, get distracted, bum around on the internet for a while, eat some food, make some coffee, watch Buffy, do another 3 sentences.
It's getting to be reaaaal annoying. Maybe I need some dexies.
