Lily couldn't help but laugh. She she James trying to help Sirius fix his hair. Suddenly James looked over at her.

James looked at Lily and managed to smile. He saw Lily roll her eyes at him and continue to laugh.

Sunrise hung around the doors to the great hall and watched Sirius freak out over his hair. She had to lean against the doorframe to keep from falling over laughing. Now she certainly wouldn't be ignored by them.

Sunny caught James Potter's eyes and grinned sheepishly. Now worry was biting at her gut. What if they were more mad at her than anything? she had to avert her thoughts to her mail as her owl landed on her shoulder with a letter from home.

Now Sunny sighed, knowing the empty words and hidden emotions in the letter she was about to read. Her parents' letters had been this way for three years. She rolled her eyes and opened the letter. It was the same as always. We miss you. Hope you're having a good time. How are your grades? Been staying out of trouble? All with the signature Love, Mum and Dad at the end. She could practically rattle it off without even looking. She crumpled up the letter and tossed it into the nearest fire with a sigh of disappointment.

Sirius's eyes followed the long haired girl and she was now talking to the blonde chick who ruined his hair. Are they friends?! He tried to listen, like a dog. All he caught was, 'I'm Mel Mc'. So they aren't friends. Hey! Maybe the dark haired girl is getting mad at the blonde chick for me! Maybe I should go over! He turned to James. "Prongs, should I snog a girl after breakfest, or skip the first class to snog the girl?" Sirius paused, fixing his hair again. "The long black haired girl by the entrance, talking to the girl who ruined my hair."

"Sunrise? Thats a nice name!" Then her face showed every sign of hate. Black was coming over. "Oh no, this is great."

Sirius, who didn't even wait for James's answer, went over. He put his hands on the wall on either side of Melony, and leaned forward. "Hey. How about me and you ditch class?" He put on one of his girl-winning smiles.

"No thanks." Melony tried to push his arm off, so she could go. "Can you leave now? I'm trying to have a conversation with Sunrise." Melony didn't care if she was being rude, but honestly- Sirius still didn't move, he looked like he was slapped in the face.

Sirius's mouth dropped. She said no?!! Think Sirius, calm down. He managed himself. "Oh I see, your playing hard to get! But you don't have to-" He stayed where he was. "I know! How about Hogsmeade?"

Melony rolled her eyes. "No. I'm going with Lily, and I rather stay as far from you as possible. How about you ask a Hufflepuff? Or a Gryffindor? You wouldn't go out with a Ravenclaw, their to smart for you." She was satisfied with her answer. "Now move before I curse you." She gave a side glance to Sunrise. Her eyes were as huge as Galleons. Sunrise likes Black?!

Sirius blinked a couple of times. Now two girls hate him?? Then he landed on the floor with a bang. Both girls were gone now, but he still yelled after the last one. "I'll see you later babe!" What the hell just happened?!

Melony shot a curse at Black, running away. Muggle Studies, but she really didn't want to go. And that last comment Black said! GRRR! She'll find Sunrise later, but now, it was Muggle Studies. What will she do with that?
