Deciding to just try and ignore the heavy accent and the relative quirkiness of the woman, Blade nodded slightly to what she said before removing his shoes and sitting down onto the couch, making sure to give a decent amount of space between himself and the other person there.
He wasn't nearly as weary as the lady, but it still felt pretty good to be relaxing in a fairly comfortable environment. And as he leaned back, he couldn't help but eye a few things around the room. There were no plans of taking any of these things, especially with the generosity these people have shown, but it was almost like an instinct for him to notice things that may have some value within them.
Shaking his head a bit, he then brought out his only pokeball to let the Chimchar that resided inside out for the time being.
"Be a good little pokemon and don't mess around, ok?"
Gouku stared up at his trainer from the floor before chirping loudly and nodding rapidly. When he realized that he wasn't outside at the moment, he quickly looked about at his surroundings, spotting the Skitty lapping up milk nearby.
"Hey there!" he exclaimed before moving over towards the other pokemon.

Riyo was too tired to try and take off her heavy boots. She couldn't even look down at them right now. All she wanted to do was let her head lay back on the comfortable cushion and stare at the inside of her eyelids.
Upon hearing the sound of a pokeball, the woman walked back into the room and smiled. "Looks like I'll have more mouths to feed!" She said as if she was joyful about it and looked towards the girl sitting next to him. "You have anymore pokemon?" She asked with curiosity.
Riyo didn't answer back. She had fallen unconcious in that small time frame..
The woman tilted her head as she waited for a response and quietly walked over to her and gave her a look over. "This poor thing looks like she's been starved to death!" she said and glanced over at what she thought was the girls companion. "What'd yew to go through to make her look like that?"
Ri-chan perked up from the bowl of milk and looked at the monkey-like pokemon. "Hello." She said quietly and gave him a small smile.

Stretching out on the couch, the man glanced over at the woman as she addressed both him and the girl who had apparently passed out some time ago. Shrugging slightly, Blade stifled a yawn before going on with his answer.
"I just found her a few minutes ago. She's trying to get away from something, but what it is, I have no clue. If she wanted me to know that bit, she would have told me, but it's really not any of my business to ask."
Gouku more or less ignored what the humans in the room were saying, being uninterested with what was going on with them at the moment. So he just smiled back at the Skitty and sat down near her.
"I'm called Gouku," he said as an introduction before staring at the tophat she wore, "That's a nice hat.. where'd you get it?"

The woman looked back at Riyo with a frown. "Oh poor dear..." She said and sighed. "Well, we don't mind ya stayin' fer however long ya need." And with that statement, her smile returned. "Ima go finish dinner..." She then looked at the two pokemon. "And get sum pokemon food too." With that, the woman disappeared back into the kitchen once again.
Riyo wasn't hearing any of it, amazingly. This wasn't even one of her half-sleeps where she dozed off but tried to keep aware in case something were to happen. God, she was tired. "Nn.." She mumbled and curled up in a ball on the corner of the couch. During that little move, her tophat fell off, revealing two black cat's ears. (well, one's visible, since she's laying on her side)
The skitty decided to sit as well, not really wanting to stand anymore. "I'm Ri-chan." She replied to his greeting and looked up at her hat. "Thank you. My trainer gave it to me!" She then glanced back at Riyo and gasped. Uh oh. Cat's outta the bag.

Once the woman had gone off to finish preparing dinner, Blade just kept to himself and relaxed. He only glanced over at the young lady by him when he caught some movement out of her, and to his surprise, he saw something that looked like a cat's ear on her head.
Shaking his head slightly in disbelief since he wasn't sure if his eyes were playing tricks on him, he just stared at it for a moment while wondering what was with her exactly. It was already rare enough that he found someone else with red eyes, but she had cat ears too? Scratching his head a bit with confusion, he looked down at the top hat on the ground and reached over to pick it up.
From there he just gently placed it back onto her head to cover up the one exposed ear, in case the woman came back to check up on them. He might not really care about the ears, but who knows how the woman would react.
"Really? Cool! And it's nice to meet you Ri-Chan."
Smiling more, Gouku blinked a bit at the Skitty's gasp before looking over towards their trainers to see what was going on. By then, Blade had already covered up the ear again, so he didn't see what the big deal was.
"Huh? Is something going on?"

Riyo let out a yawn as he placed the hat on her head again. "Nn.. Ravioli..." She seemed to mumble in her sleep, recalling one of her fonder memories before her complicated life got worse. She twitched a little as she dreamt, which caused something in her pocket to fall out. It was a pokeball, and it rolled under the coffee table that was in front of the couch and opened.
Fate, the black meowth, emerged from her long confinement and looked around as if she hadn't been let out for ages. "W-where am I?!" She questioned, the usual paniced look on her face. "Have I been ABANDONED?!"
Ri-chan let out a sigh of relief as she watched the man place the hat back on her trainers head and turned back to Gouku as if nothing happened. "It's nice to meet you as well." That's when she heard a pokeball open. She quickly looked behind them to see the panicing Fate. "Settle down! Riyo's right there! You're fine!" She said, trying to calm the accentric meowth down. She was always like this. Always thinking that something bad was going to happen.. Though she had calmed down from when they first met eachother, it was still slightly annoying..

Blinking for a moment, Blade raised an eyebrow at the lady's rather random mutterings as she slept. Wondering what was going on exactly in her dreams, he just shook his head slowly before staring at the black meowth that had popped out of her pokeball. While he didn't know why, he thought that it looked a bit scared to have just sprang out like that.
Tilting his head with curiosity, the young Chimchar looked at the new pokemon that had sprang up. The Meowth didn't seem to be the most composed pokemon around.
"Hello," he stared before crawling forward to look over the Meowth more, "You know, you shouldn't worry about getting abandoned. I'm sure your trainer wouldn't do something like that!"

Riyo abruptly sat up straight after a few moments of laying motionless. Her tophat fell off once again from the sudden motion. ".. Red... Eyes.." She whispered, her cat ears twitching a moment. Her eyes shot open after that. After a second, she yawned and scratched her head, then quickly realized something was missing. "WAH!" She yelled and covered her ears.
Fate quickly backed up as the Chimchar approached. "H-hello..." She mumbled and shivered out of fear. "And.. I d-don't see why she'd want to keep me aaanyways. I'm n-not very useful..."
Ri-chan sighed and shook her head. "That's Fate. She's afraid of everything." she mumbled and looked toward the shivering meowth.

For some time, he just watched the three pokemon for a bit, but after hearing the girl mutter something about red eyes, he glanced back over towards her to see that she was awake now. Jumping as he was startled by her sudden shout, he stared at her while looking from the placement of her hands to the hat that feel onto the floor once more.
"Take it easy.. it's not a big deal..."
Reaching down again to pick up the hat, he then held it out to her so that she may place back on herself.
Gouku paused when he saw the Meowth begin to back up, before blinking and laughing a bit.
"I'm sure you're useful! Everyone's gotta be useful with something... even Magikarp can be useful at the right times!"
Looking over towards Ri-Chan, he nodded a bit before grinning at Fate, bouncing up a bit to say, "I'm Gouku by the way. You shouldn't be so scared of things!"

Riyo shot him a glance as he said "no big deal" and took the hat from him, patting it down on her head to hide her ears. "You're not the one who has to live with them..." She mumbled and noticed something moving under the table. She quietly looked under it and realized it was Fate. "Now how'd you get out?" She questioned and picked the meowth up, pulling it into her lap.
Fate didn't look as terrified as she was picked up. Oh, she was still frightened.. But. This person seemed to have such a familiar presence to her. It was a little comforting. She looked down at the Chimchar and thought about what he'd said. Everything was useful? It seemed... Unlikely to her.
Riyo smiled and looked down at her Skitty and the other pokemon. They seemed to be getting along well. Reaching into her pocket, she pulled out three more pokeballs and tossed them onto the ground. Out of the first one, emerged a psyduck. The second was an absol, and the third was a piplup.
Vex the psyduck looked around at the cozy little house. "Wowwie! This is a nice place!" He shouted happily and walked over to the fireplace, stumbling once but luckily staying on his feet. It was nice and warm in here. And the feeling of happiness seemed to eminate from every corner.
Calamity the absol gave a once look around and let out a sigh, then layed next to the couch. He seemed just about as tired as his trainer. He had a few bruises over his red markings.. Like he had just been in a battle.
Freeze the piplup grumbled as she looked around. "What a dump." She said simply and sat next to one of the coffee table legs, her beak high in the air.
Ri-chan looked around at the newly released pokemon and sighed. "There goes the peace and quiet."

"True, but at least you'll have one less person to give you trouble about them," he said before glancing at the Meowth, then at all the other pokemon as they were brought out.
The one that caught his attention the most was the Absol, and it wasn't just because of his strange red markings. From the looks of things, whatever had happened to the girl, this Absol had gotten caught up in the main conflict there. The other two pokemon that were just summoned appeared to be a bit oblivious to whatever had gone on with their trainer and the Absol.
Upon seeing the three new pokemon, Gouku jumped up onto his feet and chirped happily. Since his own trainer didn't have any other pokemon right now, and since Blade didn't really hang out with a whole lot of other people, he didn't get so much of a chance to be around other pokemon so much.
"Hi everyone!"
Looking at the Piplup, Psyduck, and Absol individually for a moment, the Chimchar soon moved over towards the coffee table and jumped up onto it, peering down at the penguin-like pokemon.
"What do you mean by that? This is a nice place!"

Riyo frowned at his words. She supposed that was true... She rarely showed them off if she could avoid it. She had gotten so much crap from other people as a child.. However long ago that was.
Riyo saw his gaze turn to the Absol, but she didn't follow it. She was ashamed.. And didn't even want to look at what she'd done. Let me out... A small voice whispered in the back of her head. Let me out, my master..
Riyo bit her lip and reached into her other pocket. When she pulled her hand out, she held a very ancient looking spherical relic. Was it... A pokeball? It most certainly was.
Fate looked up at the item in her hands and tilted her head, then carefully sniffed it. She frowned and hissed at it. It smelled... Foul. And dangerous.
Ri-chan watched the Chimchar's face light up as her teammates were released into the room. She looked back up at Riyo and noticed THAT pokeball in her hand. Her ears went back as she frowned. What was it telling her now?
Vex the psyduck looked back as he heard a greeting and happily waved one of his hands toward the Chimchar. "Hello!" He didn't realize there had been a stranger among them!
Calamity just glanced at the Chimchar and turned his head away from him afterwards. He was in no mood to talk.
Freeze stared up at the Chimchar with cold eyes that narrowed. "I don't like it. I don't like the feeling of warmth." She said, her voice just slightly deeper than what you'd expect from a piplup.

Blade noted the frown she made from what he had said, but ignored it for the most part. He really didn't care if her ears were different from most people. If she had been born with red eyes as well then he was sure she got enough people giving her some issues with them.
Then glancing down at what looked like a very very very old ball of some sort, he raised an eyebrow while wondering what it was. Whatever it may be, it looked like the girl had gone and raided some sort of ancient ruin to find it.
"What is that?" he asked, having trouble with holding back with his curiosity when dealing with things that may be some sort of treasure.
Turning towards the Psyduck, Gouku waved back happily.
"I'm Gouku! Nice to meet you!"
Grinning, he turned back towards the Piplup and shook his head. Since he loved warmer temperatures over the cold, he wasn't really sure why she'd like the colder stuff more. Maybe it was just a water type thing or something along those lines.
"Oh come on, warm stuff isn't bad."

Riyo thought for a moment before answering his question. Then, she smiled sadly. "It's.. My burden." She simply said as she stared down at the pokeball. She could feel him squirming in there.. All her negative thoughts must've been stirring him up. She hadn't had him for that long... And already this monster knew when he could get her. "What I've been running away from.." She started as a seemingly abrupt change of subject. ".. Is myself. This.. Monster... It made me realize.. Just how ugly I am on the inside." She looked over at Calamity with sadness in her eyes. "I.. I did that to him." Why was she spilling her guts to someone she barely knew? Maybe because she was tired of holding it in. She wasn't afraid of making him hate her. She expected it. But.. She didn't care anymore. "I ran.. Because I didn't want to give myself the time to look at what I've become."
Fate looked up at Riyo with wide eyes, then looked down at Calamity. SHE had given him that big bruise?! Why?? She.. She didn't understand! If she did that to Calamity, what would she do to her other pokemon? Her ears went back as she stared up at her trainer.
Calamity pretended not to listen to all of it. He didn't want to think about it, either. He.. He knew she couldn't control herself. But right now, he was facing a quandary. He had seen her as a calm, down to earth person who wasn't going to let anyone control her.. But.. His opinion had changed. She wasn't as strong as he first thought.. In fact, as the monster said, she was prone to the slightest influence.. He.. Just needed awhile to think.
Ri-chan frowned and walked over to Riyo, sitting next to her leg and sighing. She had been there.. When all of it happened. It wasn't Riyo's fault.. It wasn't...
Vex, who was oblivious to everything around him, waddled over to the Chimchar and his teammate and smiled. "I'm Vex!" He said happily in his childish voice. Then he looked at Freeze with a smile. "How are you today, Freeze?"
Freeze looked over at him and glared. "None of your business." She mumbled then looked back at the Chimchar. "Keep your opinion to yourself.. I like the cold."

The hopes of being in the presence of some sort of rare treasure soon faded as he heard the girl begin to speak. It certainly wasn't what he had expected to hear from her, especially since she really didn't appear to be the type to be very open with people she didn't know. But as she spoke, Blade just nodded lightly and listened to what she had to say before glancing down at the injured Absol.
Well it can't be the object itself that's causing all the trouble. There's probably more to the thing...
Shaking his head lightly, he brought his gaze back towards the young lady while thinking of what he should say exactly.
"Well... there's no sense in trying to run away from yourself... If you're not happy with the way you are, then you just need to try and do something to make things better. If you keep running away, it won't change anything..." he said before pausing, "You don't have to try to do what I suggested, but just look at how you've been since you started running."
Also quite oblivious to what was going on with the trainers, Gouku grinned at the Psyduck and nodded when he introduced himself. Though, when he heard of voice that Freeze had used, his smile faded a bit as he tilted his head.
"Someone's grumpy..."
