that would be a sorority/fraternity. you have to go through a test (kind of like getting your kids into private school) where members of the greek house come and you have to be at a certain relationship level with them before they'll accept you. and it's timed. so yeah...
but a secret society? i have no idea. i noticed the option with the boolprop testingcheatsenabled true cheat though... i haven't tried it yet though.

i haven't had sims in secret societies or fraternities/sororities cause when my sims are in schoo, i pretty much work them to death! twisted hehehe they don't have time for a social life. i usually pick them out a mate, and that's the only person they really get to know well.
