Flip of Darkstar Vice Captain

Shalin LeinGod Flip of Darkstar I like how it sort of resembles a summoning circle. Though I'm pretty sure some fundamentalist won't like the resemblance... In all fairness, and not to be rude. That symbol is gonna make people think were a bunch of DnD freaks. I like the design... but I think we need something that doesnt look so Pagen-ish. Let's just compare it to other party symbols. I think even if we are considered DnD freaks, it better than being considered elephant humping, donkey riding, earth pansies who enjoy bending crosses. Yeah.

Quite right. You just have to think about how a logo would look on:
1) A flag 2) A piece of military equipment 3) A letterhead 4) A badge 5) A pamphlet
And if it will look good on all of those, then you're in good shape.

We still look like benders. I think it would be better to look at the symbols of UK parties. One of the many things England has better than the states: better party symbols. Hmm... but even though we're pacifistic (at least at first), we should be aggresively pacifistic. So any plant motifs won't really work to well, and any animal smaller than a cougar won't do either...

If people have doubts about it then maybe we could have another contest for the symbol? I can't think of what else the guild account could be used for right now (plus I could use some money cool ).

Mr. Grunkalunka If people have doubts about it then maybe we could have another contest for the symbol? I can't think of what else the guild account could be used for right now (plus I could use some money cool ). Here's a quick fact: All the money you donate to this guild cannot be retreived. That's right. It's like throwing it away. Apparently, it's supposed to be used for later guild features, but for now, it's a trash bin. So just donate to me, and once a certain ammount accumulates (let's say a standard 4000), a contest will start.

The only challenge now is choosing which pic to place in the sig... Though I must say, TriskDaemon's nice little grey-tone is out in front.

Anyways, now that I think about it I guess it wouldn't make much sense if we changed the symbol at this point. It would either make the first contest pointless or make Deviant's job unnecessarily complicated.
Oh and I looked into it, a upside down triangle is a pagan symbol for water.

The rat thus leads to world domination. I like the sound of that.

Obviously the symbol needs to be inoffensive to all religions or else we'll turn away just about everyone aside from atheists (a minority mind you). The name also needs to be less "obvious". Darkstar reminds me all too much of a Star Wars convention or a Dungeons and Dragons cult. The Flip Revolution, or something similar is still relevant, but less evil.

That's nice but it should be a little simpler, something you could draw within seconds. Our symbol must be practical and memorable.
