Ahhh! *scratches head* Now I'm tempted to go to UAT again. XP UT is good but it doesn't look like it has much in the area that I want to specialize in. I'm also tempted to check out Mica, one of the oldest art school in the U.S. It's reaaaally nice but it's so far away (Baltimore) and I don't know anyone who wants to go there. >_> I want to go to school with at least one person that I know. So yeah....maybe I'll flip a coin or something to decide.

You know I love cold weather. That's why I'm skeptical about Arizona. It's desert hot at times. x_x Also in my global warming paper, I researched about certain places with overbearing heat and guess what shows up? Arizona had temperatures in the 110 for a very long time and it killed about 20 people per week at one point. I'm sure it's not always like that of course but me hating heat and Arizona being an oven, I might not like it so much. That aside, UAT is pretty much the perfect place for me to go.

Haha yeah I hate the heat too but mebbe it'll be good XD Sweat out that fat Elba! Oh yeah XD lmfao. When I get there I'mma make sure that I've got the AC on and what not. When I get my own apt. a good chunk of my checks from work are gonna be set aside for that nice thing we call AC XD lol

I got some mail from a college called Manhattanville. It has an Anime Club and a Japanese Pop Culture Appreciation Society. You also can do Asian Studies.

I went to see Texas State U. in San Marcos and saw their library. 0_o It was the largest building there, no doubt.
They have this program called Resident College where the people who share your dorm room have the same classes and one of the professors lives across the hall from you... I found that kind of weird, but helpful in a sense.
Dude, guys, they have Water Studies under their Geography program.
Y'know, where you study to be a waterbender. XD (not really, but it sounds fun)

I'll need suggestions. I'm pretty much neutral and undecided about where i wanna go. from what I've read... UAT is pretty tempting but it's up in Arizona?! i kinda wanna stay home. xD
I want to continue in the theatre/acting department and i also wanna have fun. you suggest hollywood, dont be surprised if you see me coming at you with a knife scream i dont think hollywood would be real safe and all. i also wanna be able to learn japanese and much more... i also like drawing. xD so.. any suggestions, anyone? please help this soph out...

For stuff like that, the internet is your friend. Look up acting schools...
Just an update for me XD In March I'mma go to Tempe and tour UAT! It's gonna be fun!! Its March 29th, wee I leave after school on the 28th then go then come back XD Then school! LOL rawr

It sucks so bad that, as far as I know, everybody has to take basic classes again out of high school THEN you study what you want. I really dont wanna take core classes again. Hopefully I get to get credit for my AP classes this year.
I'm kinda happy though, because in my mind I've made a decision. I haven't been able to pinpoint something I wanna do I've just had ideas, but I know that I really want to go to art school and do something with that. I wanna be an animator or something in that field. Its what I love and what I've always wanted to do. I've thought of other things that I'm interested in thinking I wasn't a good enough artist, but whatever I've always wanted to do that so I'll work hard at it and look for a collage that can get me there. Its been my passion since I could hold a pencil. I dont know what college yet, but I'll start researching.
UAT, huh? So what are you gonna study Elba?

I'm possibly going into Video Game Programming, Computer Networking or even being like the Production Manager of a company in video games... at UAT you can take either classes in each of those and figure it out from there so whatever catches my eye first ^_^

I really don't know what I wanna major in either. At first I was art school happy and then thinking about, like Rosiel had said, a career in it is kind of a turned me off for some reason. I mean I too would love to be a great animator (it's what I've always wanted to do), and i'm great at deadlines when it comes to papers and stuff like that but at art, man i'm horrible at deadlines. I just wanna go my own pace when it comes to stuff like that. If play becomes work it just isn't as appealing to me. Besides, I don't think my skills are really special enough to go around making a career either. But it would be sweet to work in the nicktoons studio, ooh! or Pixar! lol You should watch this anime Hachi called Animation Runner Kuromi if ya haven't seen it already. lol the glamorous world of animation and deadlines all put in a nice anime for ya. lol Oh and the anime Comic Party kinda helped me decide too. For now I'm in a bind but guess i'll see what takes me where and go from there.

LOL wow you guys are total opposite of me... I love video games and I'd love it even more to make a career out of it. Even if I was just a simple game tester, I'd love it. Sure I'd know the entire game before I play it XD but its still so cool to see your name in the credits!

Yea everythings still a little fuzzy and unsure, but I believe thats really the only career I would feel most passionate about. My art gets better each year and each year I learn new techniques and skills to refine my art. I think if I study at an art school I can learn so much that would only help me to find a career in that area. I'm not really turned off about turning my life-long hobby into a job at all. In fact, what could be better mrgreen . Its one of my dreams. I really want to be able to draw people in the right proportions and understand the body so I can draw the way everythings suppossed to be.
Oh man seeing my name in credits would be BOMB so cool! I'de love to work for Nickelodeon that would be AWSOME!!!
hehe* Thats kinda cool how we kinda have the same worries. Well just practice practice practice. I think with determination and a possitive attitude we'll find a way. ^.~ Oh and I'll definately check that anime out.
