All was going well until Adi'sa felt that tight feeling in his gut, and his face flushed red again. He smiled awkwardly, quite the picture of an uptight lion Tailsin had painted.
"Y-yes...I'm sure I'll manage," he said with a rather embarrassed look on his face.

Tawa'di's face grew grave as he glanced over at Adi'sa. He seemed sad for a moment, giving off a large sigh and shaking his head as if he disapproved of his nvwati-in-training.
"I fear," he started out, his eyes still looking at the ground below him, "that you are correct, Tailsin. He is much too uptight about things. Sometimes I fear that I will wake up one morning and he will be older then I."
He raised his head up and offered a wink to Tailsin, his mane hopefully blocking the view of it from Adi'sa's standpoint. It was just too good of an opportunity to tease this son that he had never had, really.

Tailsin stopped for a minute thinking that the older lion was being serious but then started to giggle when he winked at her. She just lent into Adi and nudged him a bit.
"So would you not mind if I stayed? From what I have heard you are the eldest here so I would guess that you would be the one to ask?" She did change the subject because she didn't want Adi feeling much more awkward. The poor male really did need to lighten up a bit though!

And for a minute, Adi'sa's expression was as serious and grave as his mentor's. But as quickly as it settled on him, he shook it off when Tailsin leaned into him and chuckled slightly, still blushing but certainly glowing with a more friendly air.
Adi'sa remained respectfully silent as Tailsin put forther her bid for joining the pride.

Tawa'di's attention shifted to a more serious note, on that of Tailsin remaining here with the pride. Interesting. As far as he knew, she did not lay claim to a certain clan, but for now, they were all living nearly as one until their numbers would flourish again.
He gave her a deep bow, as if respecting her decision to stay. "Tailsin'Kivuli, I as the elder of these lands and temporary leader, here do by permit you to reside here for as long as you wish." He slowly pulled himself back up into a more comfortable position, offering her a nod. "Or simply put, yes, it would be my pleasure, and also Adi'sa's, if I may speak for him, to have you live here with us."
His ears twitched in the large mane he carried, another thought crossing his mind. "Ah yes, I do have something else to ask of you, though, Tailsin. Do you remember coming across a Yua'lopoka in your travels?"

Tailsin smiled as Adi seemed to relax a little. She would loosen him up yet, it was now her mission in life - make Adi normal!
He wanted her to stay? Well that was great news and her smile widdened somewhat but then he mentioned Yua.
"You know Yua? Oh I wish I could see him again, he was a great friend to me! He showed me here and asked me to find his sister!" Tailsin looked at the older male thinking he must be really old to have known Yua when he was here. Tailsin wouldn't have thought for a second that he would have returned to the lands for anything.

Adi'sa was walking a personal fine-line. Deep-down, he knew he shouldn't be developing attachments to ANYONE. Not after everything and everyone he had already lost in his life. But already, he'd broken his own rules in being so dependent on Tawa'di. So, what was one more broken rule?
He tried to restrain a smile but inwardly, he was very happy to see that Tailsin was re-accepted back into the pride, her pride of birth assumingly. It felt almost like a victory for himself too. He'd taught Tailsin things about these lands, helped her see what there was to be seen. Was that a bit of pride creeping into Adi'sa? Surely not!
"Oh of course," he chipped in a bit later than he should, as the elder spoke for him. He had to confirm his wishes afterall.
But then he went silent again as the discussion angled towards a lion he didn't recognise the name of.

Tawa'di smiled at the lioness. "Yes, yes....he was here recently, actually. Asked how you were, but I did not know who you were at the time, sadly. I asked him to come by again, I will pass on the word that you miss him, and he should seek you out. I'm sure the two of you will have many things to speak about then!"
His attention switched to Adi'sa for a moment, noticing that he seemed to be sucked into his mind. He waved off the urge to tease him about it; the poor boy had been through enough teasing from this old male. It seemed that Tailsin was doing enough to keep him on his toes.
"So, my dear Tailsin, has Adi'sa told you about our various clans? Though you are a member of our lovely pride now, you also will belong to a clan, should you decide on which to claim."

Tailsin's smiled fell from her face a little, "It was a shame I did not see him, I miss him greatly, he was a good friend!" She was glad he had come back though he seemed very much against it.
She listened to his next question and lent on Adi a little more, "Yes we spoke about the clans, I think or maybe I did with Ona, his was an old childhood friend! I would like to stay with Adi though if it comes to choosing where to go. I think I was from the Shadow Clan but it has been such a long time and Adi is a good teacher and friend..." She really was eager to stay with the male, it would be easier to tease him if she was in the same clan as he!

Adi'sa was a big softy, he barely leaned back against Tailsin and only did so to stop them both falling over together in front of the elder. His expression was priceless though, a mixture of 'eeeeeep!' and 'I'm stuck with her!?'.
"Yes, I had briefly mentioned it to her shortly after we met...she wasn't sure what clan she had come from then," he commented, kind of chuckling on the situation. "And I'd be honoured to have you in the same clan as me, I can remember many things about the Earth clan."
Shame that conifdence and manners weren't some of those things.

That little sparkle in Tawa'di's eyes hinting that he could tell that perhaps there was more then just teasing between these two. No matter, if it was true to be, it would turn into something wonderful. If not, the two of them would at least be lifelong friends.
"Aaaah, well then, that is good to know that you will have a home, especially wtih Adi'sa here. Just make sure to let me know when he's not his best, and I'll be sure to remind him to always be nice to a lady." He was joking, of course, but he just couldn't resist. Perhaps a bit of Tailsin was already rubbing off onto him!

Tailsin giggled and moved away from Adi, wondering if he would fall over. She half hoped he would because then she would laugh but she also thought it might make her look bad but she was only playing so instead as she wriggled away from Adi she just smiled.
"Thank You so much!" She then giggled a little at the others comment before turning to see what had become of the Adi who she had been leaning on mere seconds before.

If Tailsin had rubbed off on Tawa'di, she was starting to rub off on Adi'sa too. He actually saw the playful tone in the elder's words, and shot him an equally playful smile. One that said 'I'm always well-behaved' but with that cheeky edge.
It was a fleeting moment for Adi'sa, but there was something almost rebellious about being playful in the presence of Tawa'di. It was fleeting though, and as Tailsin stood, he hadn't braced himself for her departure and wobbled slightly, almost toppling over.
"Ooof...errr...yes...yes, elder. Thank you," he tried to cover.

Tawa'di offered a nod to the both of them, another large smile gracing his face. Good, it seemed that everything was well with the two of them. His tail swished behind him as he realized that the Earth clan was, with these two, being revived and brought back from the shdows to the living again. There would be much that Adi'sa needed to do, but the elder nvwati would talk to him later about that issue. For now, he would let his new clan mate settle in to her new home.
"If you have any other questions, please let me know. I'm always here to help everyone," he stated. His door was always open, and he would always remind everyone of that. Besides, it did get a bit lonely sometimes, being the only remaining Bird member left. Plus he loved to talk to and teach Adi'sa, and they still had much to go over. Hopefully he could feel like he finished his training someday.

Tailsin smiled, "I am sure we can come visit sometime! After all I will get bored of winding Adi up at some point. He is a little predictable!" She smirked and then turned to Adi trying to look a little innocent. Oh she was a funny creature.
"Thank you so much! For now though I really need to run somewhere, my legs have been wanting to move for a while now and I don't think I can keep the feeling of it at bay for much longer!" She giggled. She had far too much energy and she smirked at Adi trying to communicate that he would have to come with her.
"It was nice meeting you!" She bowed her head respectfully and turned bounding off, stopping slightly to call back.
"Come on Adi!" Then she was off again because, well she just wanted to run and to keep running! To much energy she needed to let out.
