She smirked and shook her head, a soft chuckle on her maw. She wasn’t mocking, she just found the situation a little amusing. “No, we really don’t. I’ve got more brown in my fur than he does, and he looks more orange. Not to mention, he didn’t inherit the anchor or the bullseye marking. It’s an honest mistake.” She shrugged it off calmly, though her tail flickered behind her. She had really thought that it was funny – perhaps she’d have to tell Inari about it later. Of course, that would mean bringing up the fact that he was on Eusi’s mind a lot. She wasn’t sure she wanted to rat her out. Maybe she’d find a way to tell the story without mentioning that bit.
“I believe he’d be a wonderful candidate,” she said with a smirk, “if you don’t mind my input. He’s big and strong, and it’s obvious there are brains in the family too. I doubt you’re going to find much better than that unless you go out searching.” She shrugged it off, but smiled none-the-less. It was true, really. They had a good gene pool to dig into if someone was interested.
“It must be an awful dilemma though, trying to decide if it’s time to carry on the bloodline. I’m having enough problems trying to decide if I want a mate or not, I don’t think I could put up with all of it at once,” she said quietly. However, at the mention of a mate, Kubwa’s image flashed through her head. She really did wonder where he’d gotten to today.

She just laughed. "Yes that would probably be a nice blood line.." She shrugged and shook her head, tail curling around her. "But never mind that."
"Ah that's the other problem. Mates..." She muttered and rolled her eyes. She didn't want to commit herself to anyone else, not that she wanted to just have babies with Inari and then ditch him or any of that. But lions changed. Time changed. Situations changed. Et cetera.
Having someone special and being their mate didn't seem like a lot, not to Eusi anyways. "As long as you hold feelings for the other eventually it will happen, unless dire circumstances are lurking about." She snorted.

She chuckled softly as yet another topic was dropped, simply shaking her head. Eusi apparently didn’t like sharing her feelings and opinions freely with someone else, which was perfectly alright. Had Kiasi been in her situation, she was sure she wouldn’t have liked to do so either. They were a lot alike in some ways, though in others they differed greatly.
“Mates are a handful, I’m sure,” she said with a frown. She adored Kubwa, she even thought she was beginning to have strong feelings for him, but what would change between them? She sighed and simply shrugged that off too. She wouldn’t know until it happened. If it happened.
“Oh, but there are quite a few dire problems lurking in poor Kubwa’s past,” she said with a small headshake. The cub that he had gotten with another female - a female that had deserted him. Of course, at this point, he hadn’t told her that this other female just happened to be a goddess .That would have made everything that much more complicated.

She assumed Kubwa was the lion she was interested in and didn't really know what else to say, she was no expert on males. But if he had a shady past...
Ah no. It didn't matter. "I am sure things will work out how they are meant to work out." Her tail gave another flick and she started to stretch, yawning. "I think I am going to go take a nap now though. It has been nice chatting, perhaps we will bump into each other again."
She dipped her head in a polite good-bye and turned, slipping through the grass.

She simply nodded as the female got up slowly and began to meander off, leaving her to her own thoughts. Where was Kubwa? Of course, he was probably home, and she just didn't want to waltz in there and see him. Especially not after the talk with his family that he had just had. Not to mention, the cub might be there, and she wasn't sure she could deal with meeting his crazy mother and his cub all at once. She figured that would be something close to mental suicide.
With a sigh, she pushed herself up onto her paws and began to wander her way towards the lake. That was where she had met him so many times before, maybe he was there again. She simply stalked off, disappearing into the distance.
