I've been roleplaying since I came to Gaia about... three years ago... ... CRAP I MISSED MY GAIAVERSARY AGAIN! D8< AUGH! This is the second year in a row. ;3; Ah, but anyways... Yeah, I pretty much failed epicly until this year! D: I'm maturing quickly, so my roleplaying is ever... uh... getting better. :'D Though I'm still only literate... I hate typing up a wall of text. >3< Mostly 'cause I would die before I was able to type up five or more paragraphs, and also because I am unable to bring myself to read any post that long. D8 And I get writing farts a lot. ;3; I'm not the best roleplayer...

You can call me Mayo. 3nodding I got my name 'Hold the Mayo' after a particularly funny dinner party with my drunk dad yelling at me "HOLD THE MAYO! HOLD THE MAYO!" for some reason. It sort of stuck.
I ish thirteen. So I'm one of the little kiddies here. I'm not so great at literate roleplaying. -cough- My posts are LOONG but full of crap. I am HONOURED to have been invited here. However, I'm constantly trying to improve. :3 Right now I'm trying to improve my roleplaying male characters. >.>
I am a nerd, I have a manic obsession with ancient civs and mythology, I spend waaay too much time with my head in a book, and I've been roleplaying since I was ten years old. -cough- Ten-year-olds aren't very literate, as you can imagine. -cough-
I'm in high school and I DID take karate and horseback riding, but I was taken out of those classes due to financial difficulties in my family. crying I play the piano, to some extent, and I am fluent in French and Serbian (English is my first language). I'm learning German and Latin and I want to learn Icelandic, Norwegian, Greek, Spanish, and Japanese.
I love roleplaying, which is yet another obsession of mine. I have a variety of characters which I use over and over again, and I'm constantly making more. The characters I use in roleplaying will be in a book I'll (hopefully) write some day.

I'm HephaestusOS, but most people just call me Heph. (my real name will forever remain indisclosed, due to my lack of trust in the world.)
I'm 15 years of age.
I've been writing since I was 9, and I've been RPing since I was about 11.
I thorougly enjoy RPing, and currently have a few RPs of my own going on, but not here. One of which is a great success, and I'm very proud of how far it's come, it being the first RP I made on Gaia.
I live in Alaska. If you want to know an even more accurate description of where I live, I'll need a bit of audience participation. Hold you hand out like a gun, with your index finger pointing our and your thumb pointing up. Now flip it upside down so that the palm of your hand is facing away from you. Your hand is now shaped like Alaska. I live about at the joint of your thumb.
Cool, eh?
I'm in DDF (Drama, Debate, and Forensics) and I've been dancing (ballet, tap, and modern) for about eight years now.
I've recently gotten into drawing, but mostly cartoons. I've found it extremely difficult to draw faces, so I stick with much simpler styles.

-I'm currently eighteen years of age and I am first-and-foremost a writer.
-I've been writing since I was six (writing as a 'hobby' that is) and began 'work' when I was sixteen. I started RPing when I was about twelve.
-I joined Gaia at the behest of a friend (actually, said friend created my account while I watched-- leaving only my name and my password up to me, seeing as she knew my e-mail).
-I am formatting this introduction oddly because I am bored and I am sick and I can.
-I have been acting since I was sixteen and I love it. I only do community theatre, but it's still wonderful.
-I love Latin with a passion. Biggest Greek/Roman mythology geek ever.
-When I start college in the summer, I'm going to be a double major in Literature and Classical Civilizations with an emphasis in linguistics.
-I live in Florida.
-I'm pale and I do go outside.
-I'm a-romantic.
-I'm submissive.
-I paint and draw-- preferred media include oil pastels, oil paints (with linseed oil), neutral chalk pastels, charcoal, pencil, and Photoshop.
-My posts will not be long on average because I believe in the old principle of writing what's necessary and cutting out the fluff. I hate fluff.
-I ramble. Because when I'm writing about myself or something I love, the 'fluff' rule does not apply. It only applies when I am writing for a purpose and unless I a writing for a purpose, it'll never be published anyway and therefore it doesn't matter.
-Yes, I do contradict myself.
-I'm vindictive.
-I'm supposed to be seeing a religious psychologist.

hm...introductions have never really been my thing...but! i shall see what i can do!
My name is Kim and i'm 18 years old.
if you can't tell from my avy, i enjoy playing guys more than i do girls...i'm almost positive i do that because, when i read, i pay more attention to what the guy characters are doing. so, i think i understand how a guy character acts more than i would a girl character....that, and, being a girl in real life, it's a nice little change of pace, lol.
i've been roleplaying for about a year and a half (i think...it may be two and a half...i've forgotten, lol) but i've really improved since the first RP i've joined. i've learned to put more detail into what i write, though i know there is still a lot of room for me to improve.
i love to write (i mean...i'd have to, right? lol) but, as i said, i'm not all that good at it...i also love to draw, again, not good at it, but i love it...
hm...that really seems to be all i can say about myself...still like to know how i was 'found out' for this guild, but i'm happy to be here nonetheless ^_^

Hello everyone, I'm The Kaptain (just 'Kaptain' for short) and I'm probably around the same age as some people here. I don't think that age is really a deciding factor for anything but mental maturity is.
I've been writing really since I was about six or seven but things really kicked off when I was ten. Why? Mostly over active imagination. I can see all the things of my imagination around me so why not write it down? (I am TERRIBLE at drawing which is a curse, in my opinion but I digress) Insane? Probably but who cares? Who decides what is and isn't normal? Is it their place to decide?
I can tolerate some spelling/grammar mistakes but if too many are used, I probably won't take much notice of you anymore (damn, that makes me seem like an a*****e..). Basically, really long words spelt incorrectly every now and again is ok but if you use the wrong homophone of 'there', I'll probably start to not take any notice. Also, as a side note to other people who are big on spelling/grammar, I'm English a few words are spelt differently and the grammar is sometimes different also.
What else is there to say..
Ah yes, don't be surprised if in a roleplay I post a huge post one time and then a small one another time. If not a lot is going on, chances are that my characters will get bored and do nothing leading to short posts. Luckily, that rarely happens and so isn't a problem.
OK, I think I've wasted enough space here so if there are any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
P.S I'll also stop noticing if you use smilies/emoticons WAY too often, type in all caps, do stupid spellings of words on purpose or use huge elipsies or three exclaimation marks etc. In fact, for every unnecessary piece of punctuation you use, you'll get a kick to the face.

The Action! The Suspense! The Romantic flaws in his characters! All are truly exaggerated prospects of Lord of the Forest!
Led by a mysterious Pm from a Karu Hitoshi, Lord of the Forest found himself pulled into a mysterious plot so...I'll stop that now. I have been writing for about 4 years, and it has led me here apparently. Usully each of my posts carry a good 3 to 6 paragraph's, both depending on the character and situation.
Obsessions. Reading for one, writing for another. I'm a Daxter fanatic, and I love Resident Evil. Right now my favorite book series is Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials.
I love expressing my idea's which fits perfectly with Role Playing. Don't be offended if my characters are rude or mean to yours, it's just the characters talking. If Lord of the Forest is too much of a mouthful, simply call me Lord or Ekie, which is one of my nicknames.

Hello, my real name is Ariana. It’s an Iranian name. Hmm, what to say...
I've been roleplaying for three years now, same about of time I've known Hold the Mayo. I can't really say much about how I roleplay but I guess I'm okay. I have several favourite characters I roleplay and hopefully I will think up a plot and put them all in a book. Art is something I enjoy, I like to do graphic art, drawing, and playing the violin. Apparently I'm doing this guilds map biggrin .
I am half Mexican (nice to meet any Mexicans out there biggrin ) my mom was from Marida. My father is from Iran (I really doubt there is any Iranians) so that’s where my name comes from. I am interested in learning more about my backgrounds and such.
I'm glad that I was invited to a guild since my other one is being sleepy biggrin . I'm also happy to do the guild map as well. (I'm sure Allen isn't as happy xD). Well, can't wait to start roleplaying biggrin .

I am Valerie, also known as Mini Monk Goku. ((Yes it is an actual nickname that I am called on nearly a daily basis.)) I live in South Carolina, I'm 20 and I have a loving boyfriend. I love Role playing, Anime, Video games and Baseball, but drawing is my passion. I have way too much free time, but I am waiting to go back to school so I hope I won't have as much time to just sit around and waste.
My character? Well I have a lot of characters actually, because to me variety is the sweet spice of life. I've been role playing for maybe 10 years now so I can say that I have come a long way in terms of sentence structure and language.

Hi people!
My name is *beep* and im *beep* years old, please excuse the beeps, my conscious forced me to put them in. lol xd
I have been on gaia since newbies got nothing but their account and the underwear they had on! Good times... anyway, i love to roleplay and i make a mean profile, but i suck at personalities... lol it sounds like, never mind. I use only use a few names, cause that way it is easier to remeber. I use all sort of ideas for my characters, i also enjoy making more than character, like playing to people at once, since i live in Australia, i can really only post while everyone in America is sleeping, but during the school holidays i stay up all night and sleep in really late, i am a night owl, but if i stay up too late my mum cuts the power to my room *mumble stupid mum mumble* oh well, thats life.
I look forward to kicking butt, falling in love and having supernatural powers, hell i just cant wait to get out on this guild and role play. I have one more thing to say...
NEVER LET ANY TOPIC DIE!!! cause where is the fun in that, seriously.

So, this is the introduction forum? I honestly don't see any reason to do an introduction. We came here to create something fictitious, not revel in our individual reality. Yes, getting to know the people here is a grand idea. But if we are to be the greatest role players in all the land, then we must cast aside our day to day life and begin anew in the confines of someone else. I, for one, don't think I'm able to even scratch the surface of that dedication. However, I find that surrounding myself with those like me might just be that extra stimulation that sets my creative juices a flowing!
Alright...I cave.

I shall let the iron curtain fall once again, and bask you in an eternal darkness until your eyes grow red with despair! Or I'll just write something here and there until my own eyes grow red with fatigue. Hm. I suppose this is where I post a bit about myself. I'll try to keep it brief.
You might have RPed with me before. I've been a part of over 79 RPs, 27 of which were my own creation. I have been under multiple names, and multiple accounts. I currently have three.
Parilus - my first account, and my first 35 RPs, 5 made by me. I had a lot of money, and a lot of friends, and a lot of memories, but I was banned about two years ago.
NinjaCookies - My newer account, created for RPing and socializing. I was in 40 RPs then, 22 made by me. That account lasted a good year until I left Gaia for about six or seven months.
Now, Wizard of Winter (Melodical Maelstrom) - My current account. I just came back from a rather long break, and I am currently in 4 RPs, none of which are my own. Check my signature or profile every once in a while for a link to a role play I create, when I do...
I've RPed for 5 or 6 years now, and I do it online and offline.
If you really want to get to know me better, take the time to PM me. I'm rather nice, and such. Or if you are afraid of me, then check out my profile. I've got a brief description of who I am and a pic or two.
Anyway, that's me.
Oh, and I may not have a lot of activity in this thread. I get invited to RPs all the time, and I get offered lead parts, so I tend to be busy. If you want me to be in one of your RPs, just PM me a link, and I'll check it out.
Oh, and this is an interesting fact... Back with my NinjaCookies account, I made a thread for instructions on how to RP and make a good one... I lost it though, and never got around to finishing it... That is the pride of my work, I think. That or one of my great role plays... Hello, I'm Squorn. My real name is unimportant. I'm 21 years old and I live in Florida. I've only been on Gaia for a little over a year, a friend talked me into joining, but I've been RPing since I was 15. I'm an internet surfing and computer game junkie, and I teem with obscure net references and catchphrases for all occasions. If something I say seems like a non-sequiter, just ask and I'll be happy to link you to the sources of my insanity.
I don't have one particular character that I like to use, I usually create new ones to suit the RP that they're intended for. I do occasionally reuse characters, but usually only when an RP dies out prematurely. Recently I've been interested in creating characters with major emotional and psychological problems or disorders.
Umm, what else?
I'll probably have a lot of characters in the mainstream RP. I'll end up letting a lot of them either die, or finish their part in the story and fade from view.
