Yun took in his answer with intense interest, silver eyes lightly searching his face as a much younger creature might. There was a look of wonder that he had seen one followed by a small smile. That was before Geisha's return question. Yun grew sheepish. "Not sure really. It's the only thing I can think of that really stands out that Mîr said once. It never did make much sense. Something about wanting thinking she might want to see a tsunami again."
The Luck gave a shrug of her shoulders, her eyes still on him. Almost waiting. Perhaps it was a stab in the dark -finding another odd thing Adumialmîr had done in hopes it would explain this one.

So this tsunami topic was a hint to her friend's actions? A clue to investigate? Geisha interlaced his front paws with his excited guess. This was like a trivia game! "Alrighty then. Hmmm, well. She might be near a body of water, perhaps. Or I've even heard that Tsunami is used as a name, sometimes." That was two theories to draw on, they just had to find out which, if either, was correct.
Geisha peered back at the Luck with peach eyes, one ear flopping horizontal to see her reaction. At least they were both trying...it would make it discovered alot faster. Maybe?

Well... Yun hoped it was. All the time she spent with her foster mother and it was the only thing she could come up with. But then, Adumialmîr was not the most talkative of kitsusagi. They were often in comfortable silence when Yun herself was not talking. Or when Adumialmîr did speak it was often to instruct or teach.
The Luck continued to look thoughtful, ears flicking first to one side and then to the other. "She likely won't move from where I left her... not until after the sun's fully up." Silver eyes flicked to the sun. When had it risen so far? "But afterwards maybe?" That theory did not seem to sit well, for Yun's musing had a crinkle to her purplish forehead. If she was going to see water that could be dangerous, would it not be better to take the Luck along? Or was Adumialmîr protecting Yun, & by protecting Yun her jade ball?
"Wait... you mean Tsunami might be a kitsu?" The young Luck pooled over her ball and the slightly damp ground, not seeming to give the later a second thought. "I ... guess that would ... well it would make more sense why she wouldn't want me around than water."

Comfortable silence? Hmm, Geisha couldn't think back to one of those either. At least not when another kitsu was involved. There was always.. some form of communication. But with nature, like this sunrise, these were the only times of silence for the male.
The male too peaked at the lifting sun. So there was some time. But where was a body of water, if they were to find Yun's friend? Geisha had no clue, so he turned back to the Luck. Ears lifted forward to her question. "Maybe? A name for a kitsu sounds better than a name for a tree. Or something." A sweatdrop graced his brow at the statement. "And to want to be alone...and see a "Tsunami", hmmm....sounds like someone's in love." A giggle escaped and the kitsu had to seal his lips with his paws.

She did not want to find Adumialmîr. Just... make some sense of why she had been asked to leave. After all, Yun knew where she had left her 'mother' as the sun had first started to rise.
It was a good thing she was already laying down. As it was her head slid off the smooth curve of striped gray and fell with a soft thud onto her right paw. Chin still against the cool surface -putting her head at an angle- Yun gaped at the giggling male for a good minute or two before managing a squeaked "Adumialmîr? In love?"
Really though... the more she thought about it was it so unbelievable? Others in the 'family' that had never been expected to settle down or fall in love were doing so. Or had done so. Why not the gentle Adumialmîr? Just because Yun thought of her as a mother did not make the bobtail one. Maybe she wanted to find love and have kits of her own? But... in love? When had her 'mother' had time to fall in love? Who with? Tsunami? If a kitsu... how come Adumialmîr had not tried to see him or her before now if she was in love? How could her mother be in love and Yun had never seen it? "But Adumialmîr isn't the type to jump into things..." The Luck mused allowed, still in a state of shock and not fully realizing that silent thoughts were now slipping from her mouth.

That made things much simpler. Besides, Geisha would feel mighty bashful being caught spying on this other kitsu. With slim legs outstretched, Geisha slid to his tummy, resting just on the opposite side of the orb. His soft hair tilted with him so he could glimpse to Yun. "You okay there deary? Not growing faint, are ya?" Was that guess of romance so strange to imagine for Yun's friend?
He allowed Yun some time to herself and her own thoughts. In the meantime, he simply peeked at his own reflection in the shiny orb. Hmm, he could only wonder how heavy that thing was to roll around. One chocolate ear flitted out, seen past the curb of the orb for the Luck. "Well, you had said her silence progressed. Maybe it took that same time for her to realize?" He was no professor in this field, and could only relate it to symptoms he had seen in other kitsus.

Yes... it was extremely hard for Yun to think of her friend having a romance, much less being in love! Adumialmîr was the only mother she knew! Well... other than their human who was like everyone's mother in their house. And Ginny & the kyunru Keyna had been a little mothering -still were when Yun was home. But it was with the bobtail she watched the start and end of each day, with her that Yun learned about the Realm and how to traverse it & what things to eat or avoid. Adumialmîr was to the young adult's mind her mother even though Yun had outgrown the bobtail female before she was fully a juvenile. "Hmm? Yeah. I mean yes. I'm okay." Again Geisha's use of endearing terms had an odd calming effect on her. Like she was at home. "Maybe a little faint... but still okay..."
Chocolate... tip... Looking at it oddly Yun stretched out the paw beneath her cheek to tap it much as a kit would. A silly grin touching her maw. Bat. Bat. "Maybe. I hear it takes some longer to realize they're in love than others." Her mind was drifting a little. The idea that Adumialmîr might be in love and that was why she -Yun- was not wanted around today seemed to calm her. Or maybe it was a mixture of things. "They're happy though, aren't they? When they're in love I mean. Others are." Bat. Bat. "Maybe I could be in love someday. I think I'd like that. Would you, Geisha? Want to be in love someday?"
She really could be very like a kit sometimes.

Geisha nodded contently when Yun said she was just fine, before flinching t oa sudden batting. His poor ear. The male giggled lightly before flopping on his side. It hid the offended ear and also gave a better view for the kitsus to talk through. With one chocolate ear squished under him, the other flopped to his shoulder.
He hummed a wide grin to the other, listening to her learnings of the subject. But perhaps it was good to get off topic; it'd relieve the stress Yun was feeling for her aloof friend. "Ehh?" A cheesy grin replaced his hum before he was able to answer. "I suppose so, yes. I guess that time is needed to find the right love, so that they are happy afterwords." At least that's how he percepted it. His own purplish face pinked to her question. "Me? I don't know......an honest experience to love would be a nice change."

doh-aw. No more chocolate tipped ear to bat. Yun made the smallest of pouts before smiling again, leaving her paw out, head now nestled comfortably higher up on her foreleg. She blinked at the pink coloring his lighter fur on his face. Had she said something to embarrass him? Geisha's response only confused her. "What do you mean, honest experience to love?" The Luck attempted to duplicate the infliction the cloud-pelted male had given the word. "And a change? I'm sorry... does that mean you have experienced dishonest love?" Oh yes... Yun was very confused now. "I'm afraid I can't understand how love can be dishonest. If it was dishonest... would it still even be love?"

Geisha smiled as best he could sideways, lifting his other ear like a bait. No pouts needed at any hour either. But his own maw twitched to Yun's curiousity, much so like that of a kit's. "Heh, it's a confusing story. But yes...there are many different types of love." He tapped her on the nose again, a habit he'd do when nervous and trying to lighten his own nerves. How was he to explain something so adulted for the girl's ears. Should he even attempt? "Like I said, just something honest and sweet...it's hard to explain." Like what...more than physical? But he couldn't just say that to Yun, it was too blunt and perhaps more confusing. Geisha sighed in his own hesitation.

The Luck giggled again as her nose was tapped this time but unlike the first time she did not blush. It felt... comfortable. But then Yun was fairly easy going. Her 'depression'... her sadness of earlier was really a rare thing for the usually sunny female. In fact it was probably the first time she could remember having felt that way. "Honest and sweet sounds wonderful." Yun said with a smile and a happy sigh, just... casual. Her eyes flicked curiously over the male's face. She was innocent, and perhaps naive but not wholly so. Among those in her extensive 'family' were the former ladies' kitsu AearHwesta and the once promiscuous beach Audio Gwen. It was that she was not thinking of such acts. In that way she was innocent.
"Is it very hard to explain? You don't have to. Though... I would like to know. Maybe if I know, I can avoid it!" Yun smiled brightly in a sweet way. She really did not wish to make her new friend uncomfortable. "But maybe I can avoid it anyway, knowing I would like something sweet. Something that lasts. Is that what you mean?"

Geisha withdrew his paw while being careful not to bump the orb. Giggles were nice to hear, even moreso when allowed from adults. He nodded in agreement with her, careful not to tangle his hair in the bobbing. Who could ask for more, really, than sweetness and honesty?
His humming returned, and on the otherside of the orb, his tails could be seen flicking in quiet pondering. "You'd...like to know? Well.." Now he really had to watch what he phrased. It's not that he was regretting or anything, but he was feeling embarrassed. Knowing that it had to be editted to sound somehow right for the other. Sigh. And if it did help her, then all the better. "Well, first thing I guess is that not all things that are sweet and last are good for you. Like too much candy can lead to a cavity. Understand?" His soft voice was slow and hesitant in just how he was delivering the topic. "So...I guess to avoid it, oh I don't know. I do it to help others and make friends, so...it's sweet in that way. But it makes it hard to find that one, or to finally realize what is sweet. Like having candy for so long that the taste becomes dulled. Does...that make sense?"

LIke all Lucks, Yun was very protective of her jade ball. But she would not jump down her new friend's throat for accidentally touching it. She was not quite that overprotective, though she did notice how close he came to doing so with a look of interest.
That look only intensified as she tried to follow Geisha's explanation after a slight nod of her own that. yes... she would like to know. Her ears flicked as she assimilated the candy analogy, brow furrowing in contemplation. Yun gave another nod, knowing that candy supposedly led to cavities. Though Miaka never got cavities. Yun preferred fruit to candies. Peaches... they tasted like fleshy sunsets. Geisha had peach eyes and peach on his fur. Cute.
one ear was half fallen around the leg her head rested on while the other twitched while listening. When Geisha finished it fell like a blanket over the top of the silver streaked ball as Yun lightly nodded... then shook her head. "Maybe? Maybe like watching sunrise to sunset over and over without anything in between? Except seeing Liliana & Edward it's like that's how they are: always in perfect light. Or... maybe I don't get it. I don't have many friends outside those I live with, and they're more like family. The only others I've met... well we were busy looking for Miaka's egg. Geisha... if it's something to help others... something to make friends... how is it dishonest? You've helped me... and we're friends now, right? Have we been dishonest?" Smiling sheepishly Yun tucked her nose closer to her ball. "Sorry... guess I'm not getting it yet..."

Protective of an orb? But what could it possibly be good for? Oh well, Geisha wouldn't intrude. Besides, it wasn't like he'd ever need to roll one along with. He was too busy counting how many times Yun could nod confidently.
One brow rose faintly as Yun finally got the chance to speak up. Liliana and Edward? Were they a pair that Yun knew, and was using as reference? "By perfect light...you mean like the sunrises and sunsets? But without that empty in-between time?" Now it was his turn to follow along and learn. He has thought you could learn so much from family? Was this not true? Geisha gave her a toothy grin at her sheepish, but honest, askings. "Well, you know it's dishonest because it's only momentary. Nothing more. And you're only lucky if friendship follows." That was the best and cleanest way he could put it in a nutshell. Eyes widened at the question of themselves. "Of course not silly. Don't worry, this is by far the sweetest it can get." Even with such a topic, they were both being innocent about it.

"Yes. Like that, but maybe different? Like... he'll step into the room and her eyes will light up. And the reverse too." Unlike some of the others in her home Yun knew very little details about the pairs' relationship. She only saw them now, happy. In sort of a honeymoon stage that did not seem to be wanning. Well... when anyone caught sight of the lovebirds at all.
She smiled back before looking confused once more. "Maybe... Maybe if friendship was first the momentary sweetness would not be momentary?" Why had his eyes gone wide? It did not match with the gentle & kind words he said -words that made her smile. Playfully mocking Yun put her paw to his nose this time, then wrinkled hers in a silly way. "I'm not worried silly. I like this. I like you. I'm glad we met. And if this is the sweetest it can get... well I'm not sure I understand but it works for me."
