Vinepaw instantly obeyed. He raced after his mentor. They stopped at the top of the ravine. "Let me guess...Hunting techniques again?" Vinepaw asked unhappily.

"No. We're going to patrol the border. If we're lucky, we might scent a Riverclan cat." WildShadow siad sarcastically. He started twords the border and started padded along the edge of it.

Rainheart lazily creeped out of the Riverclan warrior den and headed toward Sunningrocks. "If I go now, I just might be able to find some good prey." Once she reached Sunningrocks, she waded partway into the river, looking for fish.

WildShadow patroled the border near Sunningrocks and saw a RiverClan warrior in the river.
"You there! Do not come any closer to the border, or I have permission to turn you into crowfood!" WildShadow spat, his hackles raised.

Vinepaw just watched. I never thought we would actually find a RiverClan warrior! He thought to himself. He raised his hackles as well, but he could tell that fear-scent was flowing off of him.

"You think Riverclan warriors are that mouse brained?" Rainheart hissed back while fluffing up her fur. "Now look what you've done! You scared away all the fish!" She slowly climbed out of the water and headed back toward the reeds near the Riverclan camp.

"Yeah, you run back to your fish-lined nest. We have hunting to do." WildShadow hissed back. He started padding off along the border, before he called on his apprentice. "Vinepaw, escort that water-logged cat back to her camp." He ordered before continuing his patrol.

"Okay." Vinepaw called back. He smoothed out his fur and carefuly hopped along the stepping stones. He ran to catch up to Rainheart. He walked in syncronazation with her. "My name is Vinepaw." He introduced happily.

"I'm Rainheart, but I'm sure you've heard my name before, I usually cause a lot of trouble, anyway whats with your mentor, he sure seems grumpy." I say padding along asking myself in my head why he sent his apprentice to escort me back to my own camp.

"Oh, then I guess all the leaders have been gone for a while, not just Riverclans." She replyed while weaving on through all the reeds.

WildShadow immediately turned around and pelted back to where he had seen the Riverclan warrior. He stealthily followed his apprentice through the reeds.

Rainheart silenty stopped, turned around, and sniffed "Vinepaw, get down someones coming!" She hissed while crouching under the nearest bush.

WildShadow froze. He silently backed through the reeds, until he was downwind. I got too close! I have to keep my distance.
