 Your grandmother is the only one who pretends she doesn't know its you..
Rayne shook her head, then waved her hand, sending Emilio away. "No, we don't have any T.V.'s in this house." She said, smiling sadly. "But if your looking for entertainment --" She raised her hand to indicate the many books that lined the shelves along the walls. "-- There is plenty." She gave Amelia a pleasant look.
She also nodded to her kind gesture. "I hope you aren't trying to be polite." She added laughing. "I was just trying to help a girl in peril." She sighed softly, raising her legs to rest over the arm of the chair before taking a sip from the wine glass. She hoped Amelia would not be frightened, but she could tell that she was already very cautious in the house.
"Speaking of.." Rayne said, pulling herself from her own thoughts. " What did you think of Emilio?" She didn't really quite care, but she had to make sure that her vampire companions in the house were being well behaved enough to discourage human belief that they were anything close to fiends, or as modern day people call them 'monsters' or for their particular species 'vampires'.
So she can give you candy when you trick-or-treat.

.Forever... When Amelia heard that they had no televisions, she was slightly relieved, yet annoyed at the same time. She brought her hands up and shook them, as if pushing away the thought and defending herself at the same time, "No, its okay. I was just wondering." She brought her hands down soon after and smiled sheepishly when Rayne commented on her being polite or not. As Rayne readjusted herself on the chair, Amelia noticed another not too far away and sat down when she mentioned the man, Emilio.
"Eh?" Amelia stated, obviously surprised. She thought back to him and crossed her arms, "Well, I guess he was nice. Though it seemed as though he was expecting me or something. He didn't really ask why I came, but, other than that, he was fine. Why?" She starred at Rayne. From this distance right now, she could smell blood, though she didn't quite know where it was coming from. Wherever though, she knew the scent of blood a bit too well and decided to push away the thought. Though, just as she noticed the scent, her stomach let out a growl again and she gripped it tight, her face turning a bright red. ...Together.

Rayne shrugged. "He tends to be a bit rude to people." She said, her voice filled with laughter. "Nothing to fret dear, I told everyone that if a girl stopped over to me to let her in immediately without question." She frowned, tilting her head at the girl. "You don't seem to like attention." After she spoke those words she expertly heard the girls stomach growl, and laughed as she blushed. "Are you hungry?" She said, flipping her legs back to the front of the chair she stood. "Lets get you something to eat." She strode out of the white door frame, and stood waiting for her in the hall.

.Forever... Amelia had heard Rayne's deduction on how she didn't like attention, which was true for the most part. If she wasn't in the situation she was, than she would be loving the spot light. Her head came straight up when Rayne stood up and asked if she was hungry. She smiled sheepishly, her face still a bright red. Amelia stood up as well and followed Rayne out. "I'm sorry about that." She glanced to the ground, unwrapping her arms from around her stomach. She guessed Rayne would probably say, with a slight laugh, 'It's not your fault that you're hungry.' With the feeling of hunger, she also, suddenly, felt like she was imposing. ...Together.

Rayne shrugged off the apology. "Its no one's fault what their stomach decides. She led Amelia through the house slowly, falling behind and opening under the main staircase that lead into the upstairs. She turned as she ducked under. "Watch your head." She cautioned. With that she walked into a rather bright, white room, with wooden cabinets and a stainless steel refrigerator, the only window in the room was a small 6 inch slit closer to the ceiling, which only showed a bit of the dark cloudy sky. She raised her hand, notioning to the fridge, holding it open for her. "Sorry we're running out." She said with a hesitant smile.
So she can give you candy when you trick-or-treat.

.Forever... Amelia followed Rayne throughout her home and eventually they came to the kitchen. The kitchen seemed quite a lot more different from the rest of the house. Amelia stopped looking about the kitchen when Rayne opened the fridge door for her. She smiled apologetically at her and she reach in and pulled out some fruit. She didn't want to take too much, especially considering they didn't have too much. She took a bite into an apple she pulled out, swallowed and nodded. "Thanks a lot." ...Together.

Rayne nodded. "That all?" She closed the door quietly and shook her head. "Your stomach sounded like you wanted more. I'm sure we have some assortments of meats, if you would like to make something." She double checked her sentence in her head that she had said 'you' not 'I'. I'm not about to make anyone food. She laughed at herself softly before meeting Almelia's gaze again.
While waiting for her reply, she leaned against one of the counters lining the room and twirled a finger through her wavy hair, her emerald eyes deep in thought. I could knock her out again if I made the food though... She sighed, her mind rather conflicted as she listened to the light footsteps her guests forced themselves to make.

.Forever... Amelia was in between swallowing and going to take another bite when Rayne offered meat. She shook her head slightly, "No, I'm a vegetarian. It's okay. This much is just fine enough." For the time being... She thought as she glanced around. "That reminds me," She stated after swallowing again, "I believe you told me that there were other people living here right? Where are they then? The only other person I saw was Emilio, right?" She stopped glancing around and turned to face Rayne. I know that there are others here. I can feel it. Its not my imagination. She told herself while she took another bite and swallowed. ...Together.

Rayne nodded and smiled. "Yeah Emilio, hes here all the time. Most of them are either upstairs, or out having dinner." She amended her words as she spoke. Such as replacing the word 'breakfast' with 'dinner' and the phrase 'avoiding your delicious presence' with a simple 'are upstairs'. She felt rather confidant that the girl could hear them moving about, Rayne had told them not to seem all that eerie in front, or above, or behind the girl. But she had also told them that she was hers, and if they dared touch her she could stake their hearts themselves and then feed them to Echinda as an offering of her greatness. She smiled to herself at the thought, then turned back to the conversation. "I'm afraid they aren't as partial to me having company tonight as I had hoped." She watched Amelia eat, she envied the fruit to be able to feel such deliciousness. "So I doubt you would like to meet any of them, they aren't very exciting either."

She smiled and added, Especially some people who don't watch the news. She glanced down to the finished apple and back to Rayne, "Umm, so, where do I put the core?" She glanced around, looking for a compost bin or a bowl with other composts in it. ...Together.

Rayne grinned for the excuse to be close to her. She leaned forward over the girl's body and pulled the door out of a cabinet that was behind her, and pulled forward a long metal can. "Like this?" She asked, tilting her head to see the girls face clearly, as she breathed in the heavenly scent.

.Forever... "Eh..." Amelia was a little surprised to see Rayne lean forwards and produce a metal can. Then she was so close to Amelia's face that she could smell Rayne's breath. She gave a short nod, thinking, Too close. She's invading my personal space... Amelia shifted away from Rayne so that she could breath again and dropped the core into the metal can. "Yes, thank you."
That was a little weird. Most people wouldn't want to get that close, let alone to someone like me. As well, I could swear I smelt blood on her breath. Amelia felt slightly nautious from the smell, it was almost over powerful. She gave a small smile before glancing out from the kitchen. Her vibe had just gotten worse and, even though she felt like she needed to leave, she knew she couldn't just snack and leave. "Well," She turned back to Rayne, "Why do you live in a house so far away from town, not to mention in an 'abandoned' one?" ...Together.

Rayne forced herself not to look angry from the evasion, placing a smile on her red lips, showing a full set of white teeth. "I love ghost tales, and this house had plenty." She took this chance to brush past the girl and lead her out into the main area. "We don't really need to be anywhere near town, there are a few people here in the house that like walking, like me for instance!" She forced another smiled and turned. "Plus, we have a lot of friends, and a big house is fit for big parties." She was pleased once again with her ability to deceive, although these lies had been thought over and more or less rehearsed by herself, and any other vampire in a human presence who asked about the house.
