Albireo fired up an ice beam on his mouth while he took a particularly painful hit to his already-cracked horn. The horn cracked further. Albireo howled, It. HURT. He then launched the large Ice Beam attack straight at Faith's chest.

Faith was blown back from the attack, and was then frozen in place. She blacked out for a moment, and could not hear Day's calls to wake up. She was in a strange pose too, much like a murdered person taped to a wall.
Day planned to keep cracking Albireo's horn if Faith became unfrozen before tha battle was over. it seemed the most effective way to use a turn, since the Dewgong seemed pretty effected by the last attack.

((Psssst, you're only frozen for two turns silly. Look at my second dice roll ))
"Okay Albireo! Let's take advantage of this! Aqua tail!"
Albireo launched towards the raichu with a grin on his face. His tail lit up blue. Taking aim, he swung it at Faith's side. Oh yes. His revenge. At the same moment, evil was unleashed into Albireo's mind.

Blood started to seep out through a cut in Faith's side. Despite her body temperature at that point, it continued to flow, and the cut just stayed open.
"Come on, wake up! Move, do something!"
Faith's eye opened just a bit, and she regained consciousness. Color started to come back to her fur, and her cheeks glowed as she prepared to escape her icy prison.

"Albireo! Once more! Aqua tail!" Luna shouted. She knew that the effect was wearing off.
Albireo barked. He started to run towards the Raichu again, swinging his tail at her side. He aimed for her open wound, from his previous battles, he had learned aiming for areas with red stuff coming out hurt more than areas that did not. It hurt a lot more.

A loud crack was heard, and Faith's legs buckled. Her side was not only bleeding profusely, but one of her bones was broken also. Any ice remaining around her was shattered, freeing her so she could attack again.
"Faith! Don't move yet, or the pain will be worse! Just use thunder wave!" There was nothing to lose; if Albireo could be stunned, the battle might last longer.
Faith, from where she was laying, sent a bolt of lightning at Albireo, hoping to paralyze him for a couple of turns.

Albireo yelped and went limp as the thunder disabled the nerves of his body.
"Hang on Albireo!" Luna shouted. She knew Albireo would have to endure the attacks. For how long? Could he do it? She wondered. Yes - Luna believed in Albireo.

Day could see that Faith was in no condition to leave her corner of the stadium. "Faith, thunder bolt!"
Faith had gotten on her feet, but immediately collapsed again. She had an order from her trainer, and even though the move wouldn't be very taxing, the idea of attacking seemed impossible. Growling, Faith brought another bolt of electricity, this one crashing down from the sky, onto Albireo.

Albireo attempted to wiggle around while paralyzed. Through a stroke of great luck, he managed to roll over and miss the oncoming thudnerbolt. He wimpered. That was a close one!

"Swift!"
Faith groaned, but still sent a barrage of white stars at Albireo. People said that this attack never misses, but she couldn't be too sure in her condition. Her vision blurred, but she could still preforn easy moves.

The stars embedded themselves in Albireo's hind. Albireo whimpered again, but he was also a bit glad. He was starting to get feeling in his tail again.
"Hang on Albireo!" Luna shouted. She prayed that they would make it out of this. With a win hopefully.

"Thunderbolt again, but if you can, aim for his horn!"
Faith used the attack again, and aiming for such an exact spot was difficult. The crumbling horn was hard to even see through the growing haze over her eye. Hopefully it wasn't permanent!

Albireo clenched his teeth as the electricity lit up pain signals all around his body. His head throbbed. He didn't like this one bit. But the jolt did allow him to get control back over his body. In a few more seconds, he would be able to attack again
