Hrm, well we could assign more than one younger sibling to an older sibling. Also I want to try and mach up people who know more about Lolita with stricter people, vice versa, so everyone gets along. I suppose I can organize the thing myself, but I want an older sibling too >.< I know a lot about Lolita but don’t have that many clothes, and I know there are a good number of us like that out there so perhaps I could assign some of those people both an older and younger sibling. Or would that just be getting too complicated?

How about the thread be organized in an Older/Younger Mod Fashion. It can like I can run the older Lolitas and you could run the Younger Lolitas so that in such a fashion you can still have an older mentor but still be able to run the program too. I was thinking that obviously there should be a form for both applying so that people really interested can participate. So here are some suggestions that I thought would be nice:

1. Find Older Sisters that are versatile in their style like someone who does different styles so they can cover a broad range of people.

2. Have forms for both older and younger siblings that should be approved between two people to avoid biased choices

3. Have a monthly little event where the Younger and Older Sister do something like dress a like, do art together, or something fun.

4. Have rules that can deal with a situation where a mentor or the person being mentored has to be changed.

Well theres a whole lot of things that I have thought of. I would more than happy to help with organizing it with you.

I am officially eating my words... there has been an uprising in activity since I posted this. Thanks for proving me wrong guys! heart

But I could be an older or younger sister... I know a lot but don't really have too much experience. I don't even really have an outfit together.

Those sound like great ideas! This is going to be fun! Sould we start building it in the test forums first?

the monthly Older/Younger sister event will probably help it go better. I was in the Onechan/Imotochan thing in SWEETS but there wasn't really anything to do :/

also, in SWEETS it was the Older Sisters could have more than one Younger Sister and vice versa. so like I have two Onechan and one of my Onechan has two Imotochan. that way everyone can be paired!

If it were going to happen I think it should have its own forum section that way if an older sister had a question they could ask other older sisters and ect. I think If it was a forum it would also help anyone who was divided either way , ie. Someone who wants to be an older sister but still has some questions of their own. This would also eliminate the problem of too many people as younger sisters, even though older sisters should still be assigned. {Sometimes older sisters are not online and that can cause a problem for those who are oh so eager to have questions answered} It could also be a place for anyone who has a question.

I think the forum setting should be one were people cannot be "criticized" so much as if they were posting in any general forum setting. So if someone says "I found this skirt, at Marshall's would it work for Lolita" someone doesn't automatically jump in and say "x, y, and z are wrong try again" it makes the poster discouraged. I think people should be told why it is wrong, what they could do to fix it and how they could coordinate it, all in a constructive way. {I am not in anyway saying someone should find some general ragi-muffin skirt and say its lolita, I am merely implying that some people may actually think that what they have found could possibly work.} It should give reference to the lolita handbook for people who are a bit more clueless as far as what to look for.

I do believe that people should buy the proper clothes to look correct in the fashion but I also believe that some things can be easily enough found to be incorporated. The forum should not be based on "save money and buy Lolita clothes" it should be open to new ideas, and new possibilities. {I know some people can not afford to buy the clothes, and some people do not fit in the clothes so they need to start some were and they some encouragement when they start}

If the guild needed money to make a forum I could donate some. Just ask.

I would love to be an older sister! I think I know fairly much that I could be of service. I could also help organize it if you wish.

After reading everyone's suggestions, I think i've come up with my own. There could be certain people who are comfortable giving out their e-mail addresses. There are also some who could get to know each other on a very comfortable level to use text messaging on their phones.

I learn pretty quickly, so if a more experienced loli were to take me under his/her wing and show me all the things I should know, I could become an older sister.

I really like that! XD
I've been wanting to do something like that for awhile now, also something abit diffrent ^_^

On :http://community.livejournal.com/egl/3509599.html
it says something about getting a lolita penpal, but that would require an adress, and Im slightly afraid of someone stalking me down and stealing all of my lolita items o_0 , as would other people. But it doenst stop me from wanting to do it XD

-Lolita Sister Program Update and Resolutions-

So the original poster of this thread Fiaria decided that she would run this event herself since she proposed it with the help of her Older Sister, Me. I was taking into consideration what some people had proposed about different threads for the Main Parts, Older Sister Parts, and Little Sister Parts. I rather like this idea but I don't like the thought of having to create a sub-forum on this guild which is 2500 gold when I have a guild laying around which is no longer in use. I thought that we could have this event there and I would re-name the guild to "Lolita Society's Sister Program". I thought this would be easier since:
1. A subforum doesn't have to made her
2. This guild wouldn't get spammed with multiple stickies for the different threads
3. The Mods here won't go crazy trying to go over the different threads
4. It's easier for Fiaria and me to go and change posts and such while her we would have to bother a mod to do it for us.
5. We could set everything up there instead of doing it in the Test Forums and then transferring it, which would save us time and we could have it up by Dec.

So I wanted to know what you guys thought about this and such so that this can be up and running soon and everyone can participate!
