Find me a new life,
So I can breath again.
Find me a new beginning,
So I can see again.
Find me a new love,
So I can be with you again.
Never leave me again,
So my heart won't break again

Live Until There's Nothing Left

I'm here waiting for you,
Please come home.
I'm anxious to see you again,
Do you feel the same?
Don't leave me to die,
As you did before.
Save me before it is too late,
Before I collapse in a heap of despair.
Where were you before?
Why didn't you come home?
Did you purposely forget me,
Or did you die too?

Living With A Curse

She looked up at the moon,
Stars glowing with radiance.
She knew she was to die,
As it had been foretold a year ago.

Life was always confusing,
She didn't understand why she was like this.
It was as if nothing would ever make sense again.
No one would tell her anything.

Sighing in her own despair,
She waited to see her love once more.
But he never came,
And she blamed her death on a broken heart.

Darkness Desire

May your darkness consume your mind,
may life vanish to nothing.
You were there, in the corner,
all alone,
wanting someone to know you,
but knew they never could.
You are dead,
you are nothing,
and you are the one they want.
Take these shackles to my wrists,
these whips to my temples.
Find me,
save me,
as you would your loved one.
If not,
the dead shall take you to their hide away,
in the darkness of your soul.
The life you once had shall disappear to your memory,
as your love disappears to her last breath.
Obsession shall take over you,
take you,
and kill you more in its own way,
till only your essence is left.
Resist and the process will be painful.
Her last words echo in your head,
those three words that killed you,
and yet saved you at the same time.
Her life,
taken by the knife she held in her hand,
took her to her fate.
She wanted this,
she wanted you to live,
and yet you didn't survive.

(Haha, quite a collection we have here, it is like a plethora of golden coins, I must of found mario's 20 years of collectiong coins! Man i love mario, but even then it is a pale version placed against your vibrant poems. I have to say defeat stood out the most to me. All of the others had their morals there little sadden defeat in some sense or another, all had their concepts nicely done, and then there was defeat. I am not sure why I was enraptured by it so much, but when I see the ending of the stanza giving it that little aura of awe, it really did make me wonder about it all, what does human existance mean? You should defeat in a great way! Good job, good job.)

Listen to the Motions

Nature, vibrant, yet eternal.
Her calling comes from afar,
Yet she seems so close to you.
How be it that such a maiden doth call?

How does anything seem that way to begin with?
Is it pure luck?
Or 'tis it something else entirely?
She draws nearer.

You get a good look at her and feel fear strike your heart.
She be not nature, but death's messenger.
She's come for you...

Shall you take your fate or run from it?

Anyways, Listen to the Motions, very nice, kind of like opening up a cracker jack's box and finding out there's a bomb in it. Not sure if I'd want that maiden calling for me, but I suppose even if one ran they would not get far from her. So I'd just have to embrace her and see where I'd be taken...yes to my death of course haha, but hey if she's playing hard to get, then I'd just have to be willing to overcome more challenge, and what is the mortal life but a challenge? So come at me maiden, I shall embrace ye with open arms.......... Great poem lol.)

Lies

Love destroys the heart of the believer suffering eternal loneliness in the depths of the black abyss that is human life.

I see nothing but your flaws,
Hindering me from my happiness.

Don't see me,
Here in the light of death.

Shoot me down,
And you'll find nothing but your eternal lies.

Bid my time,
In the darkness as I turn away the hope of redemption.

I'm sorry that I'm lost in my own web of lies.

Don't turn away the hope in my eyes,
For I miss you,
And always will live in your shadow...

=alright, I wrote this one when I was feeling kinda bad when my friend was ignoring me at a sleepover. heh...it's kinda out there, but it's all in my fashion. hehe...=

New Dark Ages

See the shadow of the light,
The light of the shadow,
Crawling up the walls and across the floor.

What causes the sudden darkness?
Is it the hope that ever lasting life has fallen?
Or is it the fallen hoping for ever lasting life.

Questions abound,
Yet unanswered.

See to yourself,
And all witll be spoken,
Even if you are the shadow,
And the light is your dreams.

Don't Try To Change Me...

Don't try to change me,
I have little left to look forward to.

Don't try to help me,
You'll only make things worse.

Don't try to pretend it's alright,
Because I know it's not.

Don't push me away,
Because I'm the only one that can help you.

Do you see the light,
In yonder window panes?

Do you know...
What the darkness has in store for you?

Do you think...
That I'll forget you?

Don't stop believing,
It'll only end in heartache.

Don't tear my heart any further,
Because it's already been broken again.

[I ah...I was recently dumped so...this is my way of destroying my remorse...like some of my earlier poetry...this is usually what stims it...having my heart broken...or a friend becoming lost to the void of emptiness never to return to me again...anyway, hope it sparks some emotion in my fellow readers...sorry I haven't posted in a while...I just...didn't have anything to work off of...]

Living In Your Shadow

You never turn to me when you need a friend,
You've come to expect it always in the end.
You never thank me for my work,
Just tend to laugh and turn away with a smirk.

I live a life of uncertainty now,
This much is true,
For to be there with you...
I'd have to bend to the floor and bow.

But night is coming fast upon your reflection,
And you don't know which way is your intersection,
You've lost your conscience to your peers,
And I've been watching over the years.

You're lost without me...
You're just a girl without a shadow of a doubt...
Making the worst of things and with a shout,
You cry forgive me I know not which way to see....

Yet there's no hope left for you...
You've spent and wasted your youth...
And suffering the consequences,
Caused by your now fallen pride.
