Dementor nodded. The family was quite large, on his mate's side anyways. His side..well he didn't have any family on his side. Either way Cope was still tied to the members upon Absynith's side, and really the large Nightmare had lost count as to how many relatives she had. Did anyone in the family even know? Really there just seemed to be so many. "Larger..then you..think..I'm not..even su..re how..big it..is.."
Fledge ploped himself down, holding out his hand and couting upon his chubby little fingers, trying to figure out how many, of course Fledge knew less members of the family then Dementor did. The little guardian was always wandering off in search for sweets, so he did seem to miss some things at times.
The Nightmare chuckled after Cope. "Well goo..d luck wi..th that..You'll..have to..let me..know how..it turn..s out.." It would be interesting to get the know the entire family. Dementor was far from interested in that though, as interesting as it seemed. He was rather content just lazing about and spending time with his mate when he could. Though seeing his kids again was something he wouldn't mind, and meeting his grandkids and other great grandkids.
"Yeah! I'm not old at all..." Fledge repeated, trying to get his mind to fix upon that thought.

"If nothing else, at least I'll have something to keep me busy." Half-joking, half-serious, the male shook his head. "For the rest of my life." But the idea of spending the entirety of his existence hunting down distant family members didn't seem so bad really. In fact, it sounded like quite the entertaining pastime, as he valued family and had very few friends with which to waste the remainder of his time. It would be difficult, yes, if the family was so inestimable. But Cope laughed in the face of difficulty--or at least put on a trademark toothy grin and kept up that passive personality of his.
"Oh!" Ice blue eyes widened in a sudden realization. It would make his life so much easier if he knew at least the names of some of the elders of his family. It would give him a basis on which to start his search. "What is Great Grandmother's name?" he asked, canting his head. "I'd like to maybe look for her next." Although he hadn't really been looking for his great grandfather in the first place. It was just a nice surprise that spurred his quest on a bit.
"And I'll be sure to let you know," he responded, a little slowly and a little sheepishly. Hopefully the at their next meeting he would have real progress to report.

Oh very busy. Trying to track down the whole family. Chances were it really would take a whole lifetime to track everyone down, especially since there was always more being added to the family. Him and his mate wanted more kids even, and if that happened, well there was another few added to the family.
The Nightmare smiled, almost sweetly, which would have been a rather odd sight to see, had it not been Dementor that had been smiling. He smiled, when around family and friends, anyone else really got nothing but unemotional looks of scowls. "You'..re great..grandmo..ther..is Absynith.." he nodded. He really did need to go visit his mate sometime soon. "She..shouldn't be..to hard..to find.." he grined.
"Or you could just ask Sevvy Snape." Fledge, spoke, fiddling with his chubby fingers. "He's Absynith's father. Always hanging around in that closet thing." Fledge of course was talking about the Potion's Master's potion closet. The little guardian didn't quite care, as well, he's hang around with Severus' guardian, rather then stick around and do actual talking.
