Favorite Nirvana Song: I usually switch between my favourite songs of them, but i'd have to say one of the best to me was marigold.
Why You Like Nirvana: I like nirvana because of their originality, and their dedication to their fans. Most people think nirvana was just another punk band, but I think it was a major hit on the new world. Id have to say thats probably the most important.
Random info about teh jikis: I play guitar, alot. I've been playing for 3 years, and want to grow up to play in an orchestra as a career in the future, or a bio chemist, havent decided completely yet (yeah i know, two completely different things). I own an Ibanez accoustic electric, and its probably one of the nicest things ive played so, if theirs any guitarists in this guild, thats a nice guitar for travis picking, sweet picking, and blues. But anyways, I think this is a good enough introduction about me, so I'm gonna go stalk the forums now, Bwahaha

LITHIUM is my fav song....it kinda describes me.
I love nirvana b/c they rock and all of they're music is so different and I can relate to alot of it. They we're like a original great band that were there just to do music for people. They also started the whole punk, grunge band thing. I think.
-----I also love the bands cream, three days grace, led zepplin, ACDC, pretty much all music. biggrin

Why You Like Nirvana: i dont know, i could come up with something about how their music touched me or how it helped me through tough times but when it comes down to it i just like them.
more: um, i remember very vividly first hearing nirvana for the first time , i was 6 and sneaking peeks at mtv when i wasnt supposed to. it was probably the Smells like Teen Spirit video although i cant remember for sure. after that i was hooked, scrounging for anything i could find to read or watch about this awesome band. they were so different then anything i had ever been exposed to before that i was stunned. i taped interviews and music videos and watched them over and over, I remember the day i learned Kurt Cobain had died i was so upset.
i was 8 years old when he died, but still very much a fan , i remember learning that he had died right before school (or maybe it was the night before and i was still upset the next day) i cried all day, and kept hugging the Nirvana shirt i was wearing (swiped from an older cousin i think) somebody finally asked me why i was so upset and i practically yelled at them "Kurt Cobain died." then came the blankest start ive ever seen as my friend proceeds to ask me who Kurt Cobain was.

You can call me Valentine. I'm 18 years old. Why do I like Nirvana? Because their lyrics just...get to me. Favorite song is Lithium, though I absolutely love many others as well.

Nirvana Is an Amazing band , Kurts Lyrics and Guitar playing ARE AMAZING , Daves Awesome Drum Beats and Krist's Powerful Bass Lines Just Blow Me Away.
I've Played Guitar For Almost 4 Years , Though Kurt Is a Great Guitarist ..... He Is Sadly Number 8 On My List Greatest Guitarist Lists ...... Number 1 Is Randy Rhoads.

There are so so many reasons why I LOVE Nirvana. The lyrics. The awesome instrument playing. Their hearts were just into their music. I heard Kurt was just learning to play the guitar in the early days of the band. But they were so good because kurt loved what he was doing. smile I also love Kurts artistry. Awesome drawer! He has such a creative mind.
