Oingo ShadowsHeir Overlord Ixmythot Overall, nice. I'm surprised to see such "advanced" cosplay for Hellsing. It's expected for over obsessed FFVII fanatics, but it's odd for such a thankfully non-mainstream manga. (I'm not discouraging it, however ^_~) *Clears throat* moving on, the Walter Cosplay kicked a** as well. Depending on how everything goes out, I may end up doing a "Count Alucard" Cosplay, based off of his appearance in the opening of Volume IV. Yea, or Nea? Yea! blaugh Thank you, finally an Alucard cosplay that doesn't have Bondage, Girlie, or Dog in the name. I can't even tell you how many red-trench coat Alucards I saw at Anime Expo last year, there were rivers of them! crying Originality in Alucard cosplays have been completely none-existant for so long. For a while it seemed like all hope for a unique Alucard was lost... emo ... And then you said "Count Dracula!" heart Now there is still hope for Alucard cosplays! Thank you, thank you, thank you! blaugh Well, red coat Alutard, is the most recognizable, so of course most people do it. My friend at Otakon cosplayed RCA, and he had the guns, but he also had a wine glass with "wine" (it never spilled :]) to make his costume unique. Danny has the whole transformation-thing going on with his costume, eyes and dogs and all. Also, you can find the more rare Cards by searching for them. http://www.cosplaylab.com/cosplayers/costumes/details.asp?costumeid=149923 for instance. Gosh, this sound like Pokemon! XDXD
I'm happy to see more OVA Integras, like http://www.cosplaylab.com/cosplayers/costumes/details.asp?costumeid=133339 and http://www.cosplaylab.com/cosplayers/costumes/details.asp?costumeid=95587 biggrin One thing that really bothers me about Integra cosplayers is when they have a cigarette. NO! DX
Hmmm, I think Jan and Schrodinger are the most crosplayed. And Dok, Zorin, Heinkel, and Yumie/ko are the most undercosplayed. On a random note, there's a guy on coslpay.com who's crosplaying as Seras. :]
Also, Pip. ]http://www.cosplaylab.com/cosplayers/costumes/details.asp?costumeid=105138 my very first year at otakon some 6 years ago now there was a guy who did "generic bishonen" alucard, which was pretty much just him shirtless in an open long black coat and slacks, with a doggie head with light up eyes morphing out of the bottom of the coat, and him posing "sexily" with his hand in his hair when people asked for a picture. whee originality does happen, but it's rare, and usually for comedic effect. you know, i would love to see someone make a paired cosplay of the alhambra fight, with cards on a stick or something, and alu with the cards sticking out of him in random places and the ace of spades sticking out of his forehead or something. ah well. *shrugs*

YEY!!!!
My friend Vick used to cosplay Rip, but something fell through and now she does Kingdom Hearts stuff
Anybody remember Phoenix Wright? I'm going to cosplaying one of the characters from that when Ripje and I do our movie shoot this spring XD
THANKYOU FOR EDIT
I HATE DONALD D: (not exactly, but he died so much in the first KH game it was crazy)
EDIT
Actually, there is a HUGE 2010 project my three best friends and I are planning where we ARE going to "cosplay" at Walt disney World (for the Halloween Party)
We're not too sure if we should make it Phoenix Wright, Hellsing, Or Kingdom Hearts thought (reason being we don't want to be too scary that they might turn us away)
Why I bring that up? When I worked at Disneyworld we actually did had to turn someone away, since they had a boatload of prosthics that were "bleeding" and stuff D: I wonder what posessed that B@stard to do it...

....I've never played that game DX And no problem~! LOL, I loved Nazi DD XDXDXD!! Gosh, you must live in Florida, don't you. So much Disney! Speaking of Florida, I'm going thee for Christmas~ Hellsing's not too scary, just make sure you keep your vampy teeth and such in a bag (or pocket, bag check takes forever) until you get into the park. =D So yeah, I vote Hellsing.
Bleeding prosthetics? Odd, I wonder what they were trying to be...
While we're linking DA people, http://vegi-chan.deviantart.com/ is the best Major ever~! <3

Meh, I probably have to ditch my beloved OA Integra cosplay since I cannot find trousers in the same color as my coat. Black is relatively easy to match. sad

But you look so pretty! One of the best Integra's out there.
Vegi's major is epic win as well. I'm trying to think of other cosplayers out there, OH OH OH Does anyone know Daguru? Mostly does Silent Hill monsters? He made an amazing captain!
And now.....
SPOILERZ - considering using this for a skit
Ini: So, you're like, a vampire?
Rip: .....
Ini: Like, what's it like, being in like, Millennium? And like, shooting down helicopters, and like, being the scapegoat?
Rip: ...... Is "Like" a common word used in america? *put off*
Ini: Like, what do you mean?
Rip: *takes gun out of nowhere*
Ini: ....... <_< >_> ninja *ninja dash*
Expect slapstick for the first half and actual seriousness later.
<_< >_> RIP IN DISNEYLAND PARIS FTW!!!!

Gone to every thrift store with the coat in hand to compare color? ...You could always get a pattern and some matching material and sew your own... Gaaaah. I can't see the OA cosplay go... You're just too good. Besides, there are far too many people doing OVA/manga Integra these days, OA's nice to see.

Wow, I never thought I'd get such a good reaction for the "Count Alucard" form. In this case, it's official then, next con I'm in, I'll be "Count Alucard"
Sadly, it'll be in NH, but I'll try to get pics uploaded whenever.
All I really need are the gloves, I've got everything else......

So, speaking of cosplay and character originality, how would you make a unique Seras cosplay? I think, besides doing her other outfits (first police outfit w/pants, museum outfit w/whistle, Blood!Seras), it's always good to have other accessories. Besides having a Harkonen, one of my Seras-cosplaying friends has an ammo box. Another thing I think you can do to be different is to bring the fist gun she had instead of the Harkonen (the smaller one, in the first book and OVA), or maybe do the bayoneted version (Every good Aerith is a Dead!Aerith biggrin ). Or maybe you could be covered in blood from Rampage!mode or carry around Alutard's head. XDXD Anything else? =]
