MorbidxExtasy The latest Merry Gentry book! <3
This series is by far my favorite though I'm only now starting to read Anita Blake. So far I've only read Guilty Pleasures but the series and the comics look amazing.
I found A Lick of Frost was too short and so terribly sad, definitely bittersweet. Frost was one of my favorites, why him? I wish they killed off Galen, it's not like he was of much use. I'm quite fond of all the other fathers though. But I knew all along he or Doyle one would have to go, and well you just can't kill the darkness.
my friend got me into laurell k hamilton and for a sec i thought you were my friend cause that is exactly what she was saying, galen needs to go and frost stays, but she dont go on gaia, so i know you cant be that friend, lol

But seriously Frost was just amazingly awesome and Galen was so...not that important. Yes he was her childhood crush but lets face he's not her favorite anymore, Frost was her love. And it was just wrong to kill him after that sweet talk he had with Merry.
[sigh]
At least he was one of the fathers. I can't help thinking those are going to be some funny looking babies. Doyle is black, Galen is green, Frost and most everyone else is white. And lets not forget Sholto's tentacles.

I really liked the first one. Now that I'm done I want to go back and read it again it's been two years or so. But the series only gets better. Especially after you get over that seal guy. That was probably the weirdest thing I read in the entire series.

my friend will reread each book before the next one comes out, every time too! i need to reread all the books, so far ive only read anita 2x each merry once each. but by the next merry book, i hope to have all anita and merry books reread again. 2-3 days per book; 20 something books; i think i have plenty of time, lol

I've only read Guilty Pleasures in Anita. The closest book store is almost an hour away from here so I rarely get new books. Though I'm supposed to be receiving the next three in a few days. I told a friend to pick them up for me.

Yeah I read all of Meredith Gentry for free with the exception of the latest one. I borrowed them from my friend and checked them out of the library. But she dosen't have Anita Blake.

Holy crap! I just finished A Lick of Frost and I LOVED it! The only drawback on the searies for me was that it was kind of smut-tastic but this book blew me away. Laurell K Hamilton outdid herself on this one. <3333
