Ebba stared blankly at the beam, watching it as it came closer, and closer...And set Ebba into no movement. Ebba couldn't move, the ice had binded him so.
Naomi stared at her partner in complete awe. She yelled to her partner, "Don't give up!" so many times one would lose count. But as she could see, yelling was no use. Ebba wouldn't budge.

Bell happily obeyed. Now for her come back! Bell's right leg glowed red, then came swinging at the immobile Stantler's side. Bell's talons were fully extended... She couldn't miss!

Ebba was still trapped in the ice, still no movement was capable. The ice had bearhugged him in, collapsing over his whole entire body. He also felt the pang as Bell's extended leg hit the ice. It hit his side, blowing his side with pain. He thought this was also a chance to break free, unfortunatly it wasn't.

"Keep going... Aerial Ace!"
Bell gave a short nod, then burst into the air. Her bag was balanced carefully on her back. Bell angled away from the frozen Stantler, then dove at an alarming speed. She extended her talons once more the slice Ebba's back.
"Hm. Venison." Renekai commented quietly to herself.

Ebba felt the slice of a talon cut into his back. He reared forward, it hurt ever so much. He wiggled somewhat more, and he felt the ice chip ever so little. He moved more, and moved became applicable as he moved his legs. He was slightly free, but the frost from before still chilled his body. He stared at his opponent, wanting to get revenge about what was just commited.

"Okay, Quick Attack!" Renekai called to her Delibird. "He's almost free!"
Bell wheeled around mid-air and immediatly fell to strike Ebba. She had to be fast. Ebba was almost able to escape! Bell actually pumped her wings to go down. Gravity wasn't fast enough for Bell. She felt her bag slipping from her back... Faster!! Extend talons! Open beak! Hit that Stantler! Catch the bag! Bell's thoughts were only actions. Time seemed to slow down. She wasn't fast enough... Or was she? Bell would be seriously hurt if she hit the ground at that speed... And don't forget her precious food bag!

Ebba, again, felt the pain of talons on himself. He was more weak than ever. But the ice had thawed, and he was given strength once again. He reared himself, he wanted to run and attack the Delibird ever so much, but he had to wait. A command from Naomi was his first priority.
Naomi pointed her hand forward, "Ebba use Slam.!" she called. "Show that Delibird strength!"
Ebba twitched his antlers, and ran forward. He aimed to hit the Delibird at the side, hoping to hit a weak spot.
